27. Twenty-Seven #3

“Brennnnnnn,” Xavi pleaded, “Please….”

“Please what?” Brennon chuckled darkly.

“More!” Xavi screamed.

“More? Okay, I’ll give you more.”

Brennon leaned fully over Xavier’s back until he was able to look down at where Xav was still eating me out. The pressure was unlike anything I’d ever felt. I swear I could feel every one of Brennon’s thrusts. Then, our rockstar reached his long arm, the one not holding Xav steady, around his hip.

“Tell Birdie how good it feels to have my hand on your cock.”

Xavi couldn’t speak. Neither could I. He just grunted before sucking onto my clit again. This time it really was too much. With my eyes wide watching them together, my orgasm exploded inside of me, making my legs shake and stiffen until I went limp.

“Good boy.” Brennon praised, “Now your turn. Cum for me.”

His arm moved faster. His hips moved faster, and almost as one, Xavi swore while Brennon moaned his name as he thrust long and hard.

“Xavvvvvvv.”

Then, like me, both men sagged, letting the couch take their weight. Xavi stayed there, while Brennon moved so slowly, and touched Xavi so tenderly, as he pulled out. Something not unlike the concern from before crossed his face.

He undid the belt from Xav’s wrists and lifted him by both shoulders. Just as he’d done with me mere minutes ago, he kissed his shoulders, his neck, and eventually spun him so he could kiss his face and lips. All while he showered him with adoration, “So good. So beautiful. So perfect.”

Xavi no longer shook. He didn’t flinch or hide from Brennon’s soft touches and gentle words. In fact, he let Bren guide him to the sofa beside me. Then, he palmed each of our cheeks, “I’ll be right back.”

He raced around the room, grabbing Xavi’s boxers, his own, my panties and stopped at the trunk in the far corner to grab one of the blankets that was stored in there for just this kind of cold August night, before returning to us.

He draped the blanket around us. Then, he helped Xavi with his boxers, and me with my panties.

And there he stayed, kneeling at our feet, with one hand wrapped around my thigh and the other around Xav’s.

He stared up at us both with so much caring.

“I meant what I said before. I’m so sorry. Both of you.”

We all collapsed into silence. The intensity of the night, of what we’d just done, hitting each of us collectively.

In the absence of it, the cuts on my chest that I couldn’t bear to look at, began to sting again.

The ugly, itching feeling made me want to retreat, to run, to pull away.

To shrink into the darkness. The weight that had lifted off Xavier almost seemed to return, his shoulders sinking by the second.

I hated that for him but couldn’t do anything as renewed fear took hold in me.

My family posed a threat to anyone and everyone I cared about. I was putting both of them at risk.

Brennon swore under his breath, scrutinizing us both, “Fuck. Where did we learn to be like this? To keep everything bottled up? When did we stop being able to talk to each other? I used to be able to read you both without a fucking word!”

He clawed his hair as he shouted his questions into the night. I couldn’t answer them, not really, but I could remember with him. The way it used to be for all of us.

“We used to tell each other everything,” I murmured, looking to both of them for confirmation.

“Everything,” Xavi reiterated, pulling me close and planting a kiss on my forehead before looking at Brennon, “Maybe we should try doing that again.”

Brennon released his grip on his hair and came back to touch us both. The sight of me tucked so tightly under Xavi’s arm made a warm smile melt the last of the worry from his features.

He agreed, “This culture of silence we’ve all lived in? It ends. Now.”

With that declaration, a spark of something that had been missing for a long time flared back to life as he looked up at both of us, “Tell me. I’m ready to listen.”

So we did. My story first. The whole sordid, shameful thing.

Brennon didn’t say a word, true to his promise, but the tears that streaked down his face as I relayed the worst parts of my history and the comforting squeezes on my leg as I described the fear and loneliness, were all confirmation that he was really hearing me this time.

Xav held me the whole time, and when I finished my tale and Xav started to share his, I tried to do the same for him.

Much of what he said was new, even for me.

I cried alongside Bren as he explained about the loss of his sister and the full realities of his home life.

By the time it was all out in the open, all three of us looked wrung out.

When tomorrow came, we would still have to deal with my brother, Stephanie, and so much more.

But for now, none of that mattered. Beyond the screened windows of the library, the moon filled the sky, and for the first time since the sun rose over us six years ago, there was something a lot like peace.
