33. Thirty-Three #3
He turned to me, a fire lit behind those blue eyes, “I know you’ll hate it. But I’m never cleaning this desk again. And I’m done playing,” He wrapped his hand around the back of my neck and pulled me into a fierce kiss.
“I’m going to fuck our girl now, too, and when I’m done, I’m going to let our cum drip from Birdie across this desk until this whole goddamn office smells like us.
I don’t give a fuck if it stinks like sex in here for the rest of time.
I want to sit at this desk and be reminded of this moment for the rest of my goddamn life. ”
“The rest of your life?” I choked.
“The rest of my life.” He said, voice so serious, it sent chills down my spine, “But for right now, if you don’t mind, my little toy, I have another needy little thing waiting for my attention.”
“Hey!” Nettie shouted, “I’m not needy.”
“No, baby, you aren’t” Brennon replied smoothly, “But she is,” He took my place between her legs, dropped his jeans and plunged his cock inside of her.
“Such a needy, desperate little slut. You need us both, don’t you, sweetheart?” He cooed.
Toni could do little more than nod as he aggressively jolted forward, before thrusting in and out of her until she was screaming, and keening, and crying out again.
I couldn’t take my eyes off them. The way his ass flexed and moved, the way she watched him with so much love in her eyes.
I should have been jealous. It should have hurt to watch her look at him like that.
And maybe, once upon a time, it would have.
But now, I knew, I just knew. I loved her, she loved me, and we both loved him.
We always had. Just because sex was part of it now, didn’t change the fact that in so many ways, we were all still those kids who depended on each other for all the love we never got from anywhere else.
Brennon finished inside Toni, too, with one final hard flick of his hips, and both of them completely collapsed across the surface of his desk.
Both breathing hard, Brennon braced his hands over Nettie’s head to keep from putting his whole weight on her, but in the process, he clipped his mouse with the edge of his long fingers.
His computer screen flicked to life. In the near dark of the room, the blue glow from the screen was shocking.
But to no one more than Brennon, who sprang to his feet, “Holy shit. I forgot!” He pulled Toni up with him and passed her still naked frame into my arms. I held her close while he scrambled for his clothes and hastily dressed.
“In all the chaos, I completely fucking forgot.” His eyes searched for Nettie.
“Birdie, why would your father’s company be depositing big chunks of money into Agonde’s bank account?” His eyes returned to the screen. Without removing them, he reached for his chair and slid up to the keyboard.
“What? What do you mean?” Toni asked, shivering in my arms. I squeezed her tightly before letting go so I could grab both her clothes and my own. Whatever Brennon wasn’t about to reveal, I had a feeling it wasn’t something any of us wanted to be naked to hear.
“I mean that five years ago, and for a few summers before that, a company called BHW International was depositing big, and I mean huge, sums into Agonde’s accounts.”
“So?” She asked, but understanding was already dawning for me.
“So,” Bren answered, “BHW International is the international shipping arm of Barrett Holdings Limited.”
Obvious horror tore across Toni’s face, “But... but... but what does that mean?”
“I don’t know.”
“I do. Remember what I said about Jack?” I answered. Concern flashed across both of their faces.
“Those are payments.”
And if my theory was correct, there would be more to uncover. I came around the desk and leaned over Brennon’s shoulder.
“Were there outgoing transactions, too?”
He gulped and nodded.
“Who to?” I asked. His mouth opened to answer just as a high-pitched ding came from the desktop speakers and a small envelope bounced in the lower right-hand corner of his screen. Brennon clicked it and his email sprung to life.
“Holy shit,” He gasped, as he read the email that sprung open on the screen. His head dropped back against my shoulder.
“What?” Toni asked. She was now dressed too.
“I asked that same question, and the bank’s got back to me since after dinner.
Those funds were transferred to a variety of accounts.
But there’s one. One that…” his voice stalled.
He swallowed, his voice rougher than ever, “An account belonging to a …” Brennon’s mouth struggled over the words, his lips opening and closing again like he’d lost the plot, but his eyes never left the screen.
I followed them, and read, “The account belongs to a Delilah Grace.” I lifted my own eyes to look at Toni.
“Your mom!?” She looked at Brennon.
“My mom. My fucking mom. The only reason they even released the information is because the bank rep saw my name and called the house. FUCK.” Brennon yanked on his hair.
“There’s no way this was my mom. This is fucking Blue!” he screamed.
If I hadn’t had wrapped my arms around him right then, he almost certainly would have smashed his computer screen. But as Birdie and I clustered around him, both of us holding him, he exhaled and settled back into his chair.
