Chapter 9 I Know
Champ
Lydea comes in my mouth, and I almost come in my pants. She tastes as good as she looks, and I could devour her all night long.
But she’s ready for me now.
I sit back on the bed and drag my shirt over my head, keeping my eyes on her face the whole time. She’s stretched out across the bed, chest rising and falling, hair a little messy now.
Beautiful.
I’ve never paused before sex and thought this.
I push the feelings that brings up all the way down just as fast. Stay here. Stay in this moment.
“Condoms?” I ask.
She blinks like she’s still catching up, then leans over and pulls open the drawer beside her bed. I take care of it quickly, then slide my hand back along her thigh, easing her back down onto the mattress.
She exhales when I touch her again.
I take my time. Not rushing. Not guessing. Just paying attention to how she reacts, what makes her breathe a little deeper, what makes her shift under my hand.
“Mmm,” I murmur, more to myself than anything. “Yeah.”
Her fingers curl into the sheets, and I know I’ve got her right where she needs to be.
I move over her, lining us up, giving her a second to meet me there. She doesn’t break eye contact.
When I press into her, her mouth opens on a soft sound that cuts straight through me.
“Yeah,” I breathe. “I know.”
I don’t rush it. I keep my focus on her, watching her face, paying attention to what makes her react.
Her hands find my shoulders and she holds on, and I keep my rhythm right there, right where she needs it, not changing it just because I want to.
Because this isn’t about that.
This is about her.
I reach between us, not breaking pace, and the second I do, her whole body tightens.
There it is.
“I got you.”
Her head tips back, her grip tightening, and I stay right there with her, not rushing past it, not letting her slip away from it.
She’s right on the edge.
I can feel it.
I slow just enough, then press back into it, keeping her there, right where she needs to fall.
“Yeah,” I murmur. “Give it to me.”
She comes apart under me, and I have to grit my teeth, fighting it, holding myself back while she rides it out.
She drags her nails across my shoulders while her breath breaks into soft, uneven sounds. I can’t keep my eyes off of her. I watch as her head tips forward, then back, like she’s trying to stay right here, but her body’s taking her somewhere else.
I drop my head, breathing her in, steadying myself again.
Not yet.
She tightens around me, and I feel the shift before she makes a sound. I keep my focus on her face, watching the way she lets go in pieces instead of all at once. It does something to me knowing I’m the one pulling it out of her.
I don’t rush her through it. I stay right there with her, keeping the same pace, the same pressure, letting her ride it all the way out instead of chasing it for her. Her hands grip tighter at my shoulders, her breath catching and breaking as she comes apart again.
“Champ...” she breathes, and it’s not loud or drawn out. My name falls out of her like she couldn’t hold it in if she tried.
I lean in closer, pressing my forehead to hers for a second, keeping us connected while she settles.
“I know,” I growl into her ear.
I can feel myself getting close, that pull getting stronger the longer I stay inside her, the longer I let myself feel it instead of holding back.
She looks at me, eyes heavy, still coming down from it, and I have to look away for a second.
Her hand slides up the back of my neck, fingers pressing in just enough to keep me there.
“Don’t stop,” she whispers.
I wasn’t planning to.
I move with her again, slower at first, then building, letting the rhythm come back naturally. I let out a breath, my hand settling at her hip. My control slips more and more with every movement and every sound she makes, until I’m right there at the edge.
Now, there’s no pulling back from it.
She looks at me again, and I see on her face that she knows exactly where I am.
A small smile pulls at her mouth.
She moves with me, right in sync, her eyes fluttering every time. My pace quickens, pulled by her. She’s right there again, and I’m holding on for dear life.
She arches her back and drags my name out. I’m barely holding on, and she’s not helping with the way she looks at me.
I don’t stop. I keep my pace, keep her with me, letting her have it all before I give in.
She catches her breath and stares into my eyes, and I know I’m in trouble.
“You good?” she asks with a wicked grin now.
I shake my head, already well past good.
She tightens around me again, intentional this time, and that’s it.
The pressure that steadily built up releases. To call it euphoric is an understatement. I groan and shake and don’t even try not to keep it cool. My orgasm is loud. I do my best to not collapse on top of her.
Her giggles are mixed with moans, and once I come down, I laugh too as I lean into the crook of her neck.
She caresses my back and licks her lips. “That’s not I saw this night going.”
“Me either.”
She slips out of bed and spends a few minutes in the bathroom. When she comes back, she slides under the covers and curls into me without a word. She’s asleep before I can say anything.
