Chapter Seven

Sorcha

When the alarm went off, Sorcha groaned. Jetlag had caught up with her, and she was not ready to get up.

“Gotta rise and shine, Angel,” he told her. “We've got to get showers and breakfast before checkout in three hours,” Zaine said.

“Five more minutes,” she grumbled.

“No can do, beautiful,” he told her and tugged the covers down.

“You are a harsh taskmaster, Zaine Bennett,” she groaned.

“But you love me anyway, Sorcha Rathmore,” he countered.

Sorcha rolled over so she was facing him. She lifted a hand and traced his jaw. “Yeah, I do,” she said softly.

“That feeling is mutual, Angel,” he said and kissed her.

“As hot as it is watching you two together, we don't have time for anything,” Finley groaned from his side of the bed.

“Spoilsport,” Sorcha said with a pout.

Zaine chuckled and kissed her one last time before he got out of bed and tugged on his pants.

Sorcha sighed and kissed Finley before she got up too. She tugged her clothes on before grabbing her overnight bag and heading to the shower that was shared by other rooms on their floor.?

After they'd all showered and dressed, they went downstairs to the restaurant and had breakfast.

“When we get to The Soulstone, the shop owned by my contact in the Coven of the Crescent,? Nova Montgomery, let me do all the talking,” Sorcha told them over breakfast. “They do things differently here, and I don't want to accidentally offend her.”

“Sure thing, Sweetheart,” Finley said. “This is your specialty after all,” he added, and Zaine agreed.

“Thank you,” Sorcha replied.

After eating, they ordered a taxi and then got checked out. When their car arrived, Sorcha gave the driver the address for the shop and settled in for the drive.

On the drive, Sorcha looked through things to do in Glasgow. “Oh, let's do the hop-on hop-off bus tour! It's an open-air double-decker tour of the city. That could be fun,” she said.

“Whatever you want, Angel,” Zaine said. “It's your bucket list item,” he told her.

She squealed and kissed him. “Thank you!” she said then turned to Finley. “And thank you for making this possible,” she added and kissed him too.

“You're welcome, Sweetheart,” he replied with a laugh.

They came to a stop and this time Finley paid for the cab. Sorcha looped arms with both of them as they headed into The Soulstone.

“Welcome to The Soulstone, let me know if I can help you with anything,” the woman behind the counter said.

“Hi,” Sorcha said, approaching. “I'm actually looking for Nova Montgomery.”

“Oh, you've found her. What can I do for you?”

“My name is Sorcha Rathmore,? I'm one of your—”

“Customers from America,” Nova interrupted her. “I recognize the name, you're one of my best customers. You're a long way from home. And who's the eye candy?”

“Nova, this is Zaine and Finley, my partners,” Sorcha replied.

“Nice to meet you both. Now, what can I do for you?” Nova asked. “I'm guessing this isn't a social call.”

“No, it's not. I'm hoping you have Rogue's Wormwood on hand. I've run out and am in desperate need of more,” Sorcha told her.

“Rogue's Wormwood, I think I have some in the back. Dare I ask why you have a dire need for it?” Nova asked.

“I had a spell get overpowered and need a counterspell now,” Sorcha admitted.

“Och, dire indeed. Wait here,” Nova told them and stepped in the back.

When she came back, Sorcha knew it wasn't good, because her hands were empty.

“I was mistaken, I'm out of Rogue's Wormwood. I'll have to go to the greenhouse to get more, but I won't be able to do that until my closing girl gets here at 5,” Nova told them.

“Damn it. We're going to have to reschedule our flight,” Sorcha said with a sigh. “It can't be helped. What time would be best to pick it up?” she asked the woman.

“First thing in the morning. We open at 8,” Nova told her.

“Okay. We'll be here when you open,” Sorcha told her. Once they were outside her shoulders slumped.

“Hey, it's okay. We'll get it and be back home tomorrow,” Finley told her. “Let's get the flight changed and then take that tour of Glasgow.”

“Maybe we could find a club to go dancing later,” Zaine suggested. “We just have to decide on where we're staying tonight.”

Sorcha changed their flight, for a nominal fee, then they pulled up the hotel list again.

“I want to stay at Glenskirlie Castle,” Finley said. “My treat. One of the castle suites with a four-poster bed.”

“Are you sure? That's going to be expensive,” Sorcha said.

“I'm positive. We can't stay in Scotland and not stay in a castle,” he replied.

“If you insist,” Sorcha said and booked the room.

“Now, let's go on that tour,” Finley said and kissed her.

Soon they were on the top level of a double-decker bus, enjoying the sights of the city.

Sorcha spotted a shop she wanted to check out, and was on her feet moving down the steps seconds later, with her men hot on her heels.

“What's up, Angel?” Zaine asked once they'd hopped off.

“I saw a shop I want to check out,” Sorcha told them.

“Lead the way, Sweetheart,” Finley said.

Sorcha led them back down the street and both men whistled when she came to a stop.

“Our girl's feeling adventurous,” Zaine chuckled. “Let's go inside, and see if we find something we like.”

They stepped into the adult store and started looking around. “Silk ties. Get two sets and we could bind our girl to the bed and have our way with her,” Finley said, making Sorcha whimper.

“Oh, I think she likes that. We need a blindfold, too, to enhance the sensation of being at our mercy,” Zaine put in.

Sorcha shivered. “Yes, please,” she murmured. She found the floggers and ran her hands over them.

Zaine came up behind her and picked one up, examining it. “Have you ever been flogged, Angel?” he asked.

“Yeah, I dated a guy a couple of years ago who was big into BDSM,” she replied.

“Did you like it?”

“It was okay. I didn't get that floaty feeling you hear about, but he didn't do it for very long before he wanted to fuck.”

Zaine growled. “He's a wannabe then. If I flogged you, you'd definitely get that floaty feeling,” he told her.

“You know how to use a flogger?” she asked, looking up at him.

“I do, and I know how to do it right. Would you like me to flog you, Angel?” he asked and dipped his head to nip at her neck.

“Oh, fuck yeah,” she replied.

“Okay. We're getting a flogger, blindfold, and two sets of silk ties,” he said, taking everything to the counter to pay for it all. He also grabbed some chocolate they had on the counter.

“Let's head to the hotel. We can eat at the restaurant, then retire to our room for some fun,” Finley said.

“Sounds good to me,” Zaine and Sorcha both said. They ordered a car, and soon enough they were checking in. It took a bit to get one room for the three of them, but soon they were ensconced in one of their suites. They put their bags away and headed down to the restaurant for dinner.

After being seated, they looked over the menu. “I think I'm going to get the polenta fries, chicken penne pasta, and sauteed mushrooms, with cheesecake for dessert,” Sorcha said.

“I'm going to go with the prawns, handmade burger, and chips,” Finley put in. “I think I'll do the cheesecake too,” he added.

“Both of your orders sound good, but I think I'm going with the bread and olives, 8 oz filet steak with peppercorn sauce, beer-battered onion rings, and the mousse for dessert,” Zaine commented.

When their server arrived, they put in their order and enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant while they waited.

“So, Zaine, I know a bit about Sorcha, but don't really know anything about you. Tell me a bit about yourself.”

“I'm the oldest of four boys, you already know I'm dominant, red and black are my favorite colors, and I'm allergic to coconut. Growing up, I always knew I wanted to own my own business, so when the club came up for sale last year, I jumped at it. I had to make some design changes to make it more me, of course. Let's see, I took riding lessons when I was a kid, and I got my first motorcycle at 18. It was a piece of junk, but it was mine.”

“I remember that thing. Scared the shit out of me every time you were on it,” Sorcha said.

“Yeah, I know it did,” Zaine said, taking her hand and kissing it.

“Then I got my new bike, and she's a beaut,” Zaine said.

“I've always wanted a motorcycle, but it didn't seem practical, so I got the SUV instead,” Finley said.

“We've got to get you a bike, then we can take turns taking our girl for rides,” Zaine told him.

Their food arrived and they focused on eating. Hums of enjoyment came from each of them as they enjoyed the meal.

When they were finished and the bill was paid, they headed up to their room. Sorcha just hoped Zaine could deliver on his promise.
