Chapter 10

Gideon had just finished servicing Daniel when they caught the final events between Katt, the twins, and Samson.

“It’s a good thing I just unloaded,” Daniel groaned. “Or I would’ve messed my shorts.”

“Me, too,” Gideon panted softly. With the taste of Daniel’s cum still coating his taste buds, and viewing the scene on the monitor, a bit of hardness returned to his member.

“You do film the rec room, right?” Daniel asked. “If you missed that scene, it would be a damn shame.”

“Oh, yeah, we film the rec room. I learned that some of the best footage takes place in there.”

“It certainly is today.” Daniel cleared his throat, a light sheen to his flushed cheeks. “Do you think he’ll choose Samson? Maybe the twins, too?”

“I don’t know. Samson is a, uh… big boy. I’m not sure Katt wants to try to accommodate all of that his first time around. And I wouldn’t blame him if he didn’t.” He looked at Daniel. “I don’t think I would.”

“Even if I were that large?” Daniel smiled.

“Well…” Gideon gripped his waist and pushed against him. “I would make an exception for you. Grin and bear it, so to speak.”

Daniel chuckled lightly. “Fortunate for you, I don’t have the equipment to break you in half.”

Ducking his head, Gideon laughed. “I won’t lie, I do feel a bit fortunate for that.”

“That’s enough for now,” Garrett said as he fastened his pants. “I think our guest needs a break.”

Royal smiled coolly, casually tucking himself away. “I think he’s ready.”

Their words sounded thick and far away. Katt fumbled with his pants, his hands trembling as he zipped up. The wet heat of his own cum coated his dick, and he was suddenly very aware of the sticky deposits clinging to his T-shirt and skin.

What happened? What did I do?!

A spark of panic stabbed his gut, but before it could bloom through his system, Garrett and Derek were walking him out of the rec room toward the restroom.

“Go grab him a clean shirt,” Garrett told the other guy.

Derrek nodded and broke away, walking in the direction of the large staircase in the main entrance area.

Garrett directed Katt inside the bathroom and closed the door.

Katt removed his leather jacket, laid it aside, then removed the soiled shirt.

“You okay?” Garrett asked quietly. “Things get a little intense around here sometimes.”

Katt swallowed hard and nodded. An odd tremor had settled in his stomach, making him slightly nauseous.

“The twins can be overzealous, but they don’t mean any harm,” Garrett murmured as he dampened a white hand towel beneath the faucet, wrung it out, and gave it to Katt. “They love everyone.” He smiled. “Maybe a little too much, at times.”

Katt remained silent and washed his chest and stomach.

Leaning against the small counter next to the sink, Garrett gazed at Katt. “Can I ask you something?”

Tensing somewhat, Katt nodded as he continued to wipe the cum from his skin.

“Why did you sign up for this segment?”

Katt looked up. “What?”

“You don’t seem all that curious,” Garrett said. “Everything you’ve done so far kind of feels like you’re doing it against your will, even though we told you that you don’t have to.”

Lowering his eyes, Katt rinsed out the towel, then wiped some cum residue from his jacket. “I’m not doing it against my will,” he mumbled.

“The first two curious boys—Sean and Dylan—they each had some reservations, but there was no mistaking their genuine curiosity.” He tilted his head, eyeing Katt. “I don’t get that from you.”

Katt cleared his throat, but didn’t meet Garrett’s eyes. “Why would I sign up for this if I wasn’t curious?”

“I don’t know.” Garrett shifted, loosely folding his arms over his chest. “You tell me.”

Katt shrugged. “Nothing to tell.”

“Hm.” Garrett rubbed his mouth. “I admit, you seemed to be enjoying yourself with Samson… and Marcus. A totally straight guy wouldn’t have gotten swept up like that, I don’t think.

I’ve met a lot of straight men, even tested a few, and they have zero interest in cock.

” He squinted. “And at first, that’s how you seemed.

Still kind of seems that way, despite…” He gestured absently. “Do you think you might be gay?”

Katt flinched at the question. “I’m sure everyone thinks so after what just happened.”

“Sometimes, things happen. Very little in this life is black and white. Only you can decide who you are.”

I thought I knew, Katt thought, his anxiety mounting. But even now, after the fact, a tingle of excitement lingered in his loins. And somewhere in the back of his mind was a truth he didn’t want to acknowledge; he had wanted Marcus to strip away his underwear and suck him, flesh on flesh.

“You don’t have to do anything more if you don’t want to,” Garrett said. “You can stop.”

Katt almost took him up on it. He was afraid to go back to the rec room, afraid of what he would do—afraid of enjoying it. Garrett said he could stop… but he couldn’t. He had to go all the way. Katt thought about calling Todd again, but there was no point; Todd couldn’t let him off the hook.

Still, the thought of going back out there started to ignite quiet panic in him.

“I’m okay,” he whispered, a full-blown lie. “I just… wasn’t expecting things to get so… intense… so fast.” He sniffed, then finally looked Garrett in the face. “Do you think I could have a moment…?”

Garrett didn’t seem to believe that he was okay, but if not, he kept it to himself and nodded. “Yeah, sure.” Garrett left the bathroom.

As soon as he was gone, the shakes hit Katt. His hand trembled badly as he took out his phone.

“Are you concerned?”

Gideon stared at the monitor with a measure of tension. “That was an intense session. He looked rather shaken when he left the room.”

“Do you think he’ll continue?” Daniel asked.

Still a bit flustered from his and Daniel’s session, Gideon dragged a palm over his flushed face. “Hard to say. As I mentioned before, there’s something off about Katt. I still feel that he wasn’t entirely honest in the intro.”

“What would he be hiding?” Daniel raised an eyebrow. “If he wasn’t truly curious, why would he sign up for the segment?”

Gideon sighed. “I don’t know,” he murmured. “I guess all we can do is wait and see how it develops.”

“Franco?” Katt squeezed the phone so hard his hand began to ache.

“Katt? Hey, what’s up?”

Katt swallowed, his throat constricting, squeezing his words. “I want to join the fraternity, I do. For… personal reasons.”

“Personal reasons?”

“I, uh…” Katt swallowed again. “I lied when I said I didn’t know Todd.

We used to be childhood friends. Best friends.

We lost touch when we were freshmen in high school.

His family moved away. I thought he forgot all about me, but now…

” Katt closed his eyes. “Now, he wants us to be friends again. That’s why he wanted me in the fraternity.

I didn’t realize how much I missed having him for a friend until I saw him again. ”

“So, what’s the problem?” Franco asked. “I mean, Todd fast-tracked you through all the hoopla. You’re in, right?”

Katt faltered. “Yeah, I-I guess,” he mumbled. “Except for the… initiation. He said I still had to do it because all the brothers had to.”

“Yeah, so?” Franco said with a short laugh. “It’s no big deal. A little embarrassing, but that’s the idea. Most fraternity initiations involve some humiliation. It’s tradition. Afterward, you’ll laugh about it.”

“Really?” Katt murmured. He had his doubts about the laughing part. How could these guys be so flippant about it? “You didn’t feel… weird afterward? Different somehow?”

“No,” Franco laughed. “Why would I?”

“Well, I mean…” Katt rubbed his eyes. “It just doesn’t seem like something regular guys would be okay with. I mean, Todd explained why it was required, how it bonded the brothers and forged loyalty, but…”

“Bonded the brothers and forged loyalty?” Franco chuckled. “Todd said that?”

“Yeah…”

“I wouldn’t go that far,” Franco snorted. “Mostly, it’s for fun. And yes, it’s kind of embarrassing, at first. But most pledges end up having a good time by the end of it.”

“They do?” Katt frowned. Mostly for fun? “The way Todd told it, the initiation process was vital in proving a brother’s loyalty, and what they would do to become part of the brotherhood.”

“That’s part of it, of course,” Franco said.

“But if you’re really nervous about it, I’ll let you in on a little secret; it’s not really the other brothers jerking you off.

It’s sorority sisters.” He chuckled. “You’re just blindfolded and told it’s guys doing it.

The sisters play along, even wearing men’s cologne and cutting their nails short.

So, don’t sweat it. Other than feeling a little embarrassed about standing on stage butt naked while some of the brothers and a bunch of the sorority sisters watch you get your chain yanked, it’s a breeze.

Like I said, you’ll laugh about it later.

And probably hook up with one or more of the hot sisters. ”

What the fuck was he talking about?

“Don’t tell Todd or anyone else that I tipped you off, though. You’re not supposed to know it’s a girl jerking you off until your blindfold is removed.”

Katt felt sick. “I-I don’t understand.”

“Don’t understand what?”

“That…” Katt leaned against the sink and stared blankly at his shirtless reflection, stark images of what he’d just done with the twins and Samson playing on a loop in his head. “That is the initiation ritual?”

“Yeah. Why? Isn’t that what Todd told you?”

Katt gripped the edge of the counter. “No,” he whispered numbly.

“What did he tell you?” Franco asked, the humor leaking from his voice.

The question sounded distant and muffled over the phone as Katt’s mind reeled. Had Todd lied to him? Why would he do that? Was he lying about wanting to be friends again?

A tightness squeezed Katt’s chest, and a sudden rush of emotion flooded his system.

His reflection swam before him. He didn’t understand any of this: why Todd would lie—or why it hurt so much.

Katt had never been very emotional. He dealt with his feelings by suppressing them rather than expressing them.

But suddenly, his eyes burned with tears, and he wanted to punch the fucking mirror.

“Katt?” Franco pressed. “What did he tell you?”

Katt swallowed hard. “Nothing,” he muttered, his voice raw. “It… It doesn’t matter.”

“You sound upset.” Franco seemed concerned. He and Katt had been roommates for less than a month, but they’d already become friends. “What’s going on? Where are you?”

Katt didn’t want to tell him. Not from lack of trust, but pure humiliation.

“Katt, come on,” his tone softened. “You can talk to me.”

Katt felt like he was coming apart inside. His jaw knotted as an ache webbed into his throat, and his eyes burned hotter. “I can’t,” he whispered.

“Come back to the dorm,” Franco said. “We’ll talk in person. Okay?”

“No,” Katt rasped. “I’m not coming back. Ever.”

“Katt—”

Katt ended the call and threw the phone onto the counter, where it skittered across the smooth surface before falling into the sink basin with a dull clatter. Katt gripped the sink's edge with both hands, knuckles whitening. Maybe Franco was just putting up a front and was in it with Todd.

It doesn’t matter, because like you said—you’re not fucking going back.

When the cell phone rang, Katt immediately grabbed it and turned it off. He didn’t want to talk to Franco. He didn’t want to talk to anyone.

An overwhelming nausea took hold of him as he stared at the bathroom door.

He couldn’t hide in here forever.

Katt had no choice—he had to go back out there with a new understanding that changed everything.
