28. Chapter 28
King Damini
I paused the game downstairs, setting the controller on the armrest. I had spent the last hour chopping it up with Quan about sports, cars, and games.
The dude seemed cool… as long as he didn't drug me and play in my ass, we were good.
Leaving him in the living room, I headed upstairs to check on my wife.
Adanna was standing in front of the vanity in our master bathroom, getting ready.
She was wearing her silk robe and rubbing a rich, scented moisturizer across her chest and shoulders.
I stepped in and wrapped my arms around her.
I pulled her back against my chest, pressing a trail of kisses on her shoulder and then another to the side of her head.
"Old boy seem like he cool," I murmured against her skin.
She caught my dark eyes in the mirror and smirked. "It's so nice that you found a friend."
"I ain't gonna say all that... but he cool on me. I see what you saw in him."
Adanna threw her head back slightly, laughing out loud. "Okay, don't get soft on me now."
“I’m not… when does he have to leave?”
“Uhh… when this dies down.”
“Okay.” I smiled, letting a mischievous glint take over. " I got you something... it’s a late bachelorette gift for our wedding."
Her eyebrows jumped. She turned around in my grip, looking at me shocked. "You got me a gift?"
"Yeah," I nodded, reaching into my pants pocket.
I pulled out a sleek matte-black box and opened it. It revealed a pair of lace silk panties. As she took them out of the box, she noticed the weight was a bit different. Embedded discreetly into the soft fabric was a tiny, smooth nub in the center.
She looked up, confused. "What am I supposed to do with this?"
I smirked, leaning in close to her ear. "You gonna wear 'em so we can have a real good time at dinner. They got a remote that’s already connected straight to my phone, and I wanna test something out."
Her eyes flared with excitement as she took in the risk. She slid her silk robe off, unknotted the lace, and slipped the panties up her legs, adjusting until the smooth fabric pulled against her skin.
She caught her breath when she felt the pressure.
I pulled my phone out of my pocket and tapped the screen just to let a microscopic pulse buzz through the fabric. Her breath hitched.
"You always say how much you want to test the bounds," I whispered as I leaned down to her lips. "So let’s do this shit. Just remember to watch your face."
She squinted. "What do you mean?"
I tapped my phone screen again to turn it off.
"Just remember to keep a straight face," I murmured against her mouth, pulling back.

The grand dining table was packed. Everyone was in the building—Nana, Kandi, Chief Idris, and even Quan sat near the foot of the table casually holding his own among my inner circle.
I sat near the head of the table, pulling up my sleeves and attacking my plate as if I hadn't eaten in three days. Nana cooked half the spread, and I was enjoying it way too much to care about proper manners.
Adanna eyed me down from her seat, taking a slow sip of her water. "It ain't going nowhere, Dame."
The entire table went dead silent.
Forks paused mid-air. Kandi looked up from her plate with her eyes jumping between us. Chief arched an eyebrow, and Quan held his glass.
I chewed my bite, swallowed, and raised my head. "Sorry, Queen... I'm just used to my meals running away from me."
Nana instantly belted out a cackle, slapping her palm against the wood so hard her bracelets jingled. "BOOM! He got a better comeback than you!"
Adanna bit the inside of her cheek. "Hardly," she muttered, cutting her steak. "It was cute, though."
I smirked, pulling my smartphone out of my pocket and setting it face-up on the tablecloth next to my plate.
Right as she took another bite of food, I tapped the screen with my thumb.
Her back snapped straight as her eyes widened. I kept my face blank, scrolling on my screen like I was checking a notification.
Kandi set her fork down, looking across at her. "So, what did the doctor say about the results?"
Adanna opened her mouth, but I tapped the screen again, doubling the frequency.
The words died right in her throat. She slammed her lips shut and placed her hand under her jaw, resting her elbow on the table. She was fghting for her life to keep her face calm.
Kandi squinted. "Why are you stuck like you paused on a TV? What's wrong with you?"
"Nothing," Adanna squeezed out through her teeth.
I leaned back, taking in the table. That's when I caught Quan watching her.
His eyes were locked onto her face, tracking every little shift in her expression.
I wasn't even mad—I was just curious. I knew the ex was still attracted to my wife, and I couldn't blame the man.
Adanna looked amazing. I just wasn't sure if she was the type to take two dicks at the same time... unless I was down for it.
Oh well.
I kept my eyes on her, letting her feel the weight of my stare while my thumb rested casually on the glass screen.
"I don't know yet. The doctor hasn't called me back," she managed to say.
"Well, what are you gonna do?" Chief asked.
Adanna opened her mouth again, and I slid the bar to maximum power.
Her left hand shot out, slapping against the edge of the table to brace herself.
"I think..." she stammered, her voice raspy, "I think I'm gonna sleep on it."
Nana squinted through her gold shades. "You gonna sleep on the DNA results?!"
"Yeah," she breathed out.
Chief leaned forward, studying her face. "You're playing it real cool, Queen, but we know how pissed off you are about the delay."
Adanna was on the brink. I watched her glance at Quan, then snap her eyes right back to me.
Right as I bumped the frequency up one more notch, a soft, helpless moan slipped straight past her lips. The whole table froze. Adanna’s eyes went wide, and she instantly covered her mouth with both hands, coughing wildly to mask it.
"Mmm, I just... I love these plantains!" she choked out.
Nana squinted even harder. "Since when?!"
Adanna let out a raspy chuckle, her eyes glassy. "Since now."
Driven by overwhelming pleasure, her hand shot across the table and gripped Kandi’s wrist.
Kandi gasped. "Girl! Is you okay?!
Adanna locked her jaw and breathed through the wave. Her hips twitched subtly against the chair cushion.
I just know them toes was curling up by now.
She held Kandi’s hand like a lifeline while the climax washed over her, completely paralyzing her for ten straight seconds.
I watched every second of it, watching her try to play it cool and ending up looking crazy.
Suddenly, she broke into this wide, bizarre smile, letting out a loud, sudden burst of laughter that had everyone at the table staring at her.
"I just know me and my baby will be A-Okay!" Adanna cheered out of nowhere. Her voice was way too bright, and her eyes bounced around the room.
Nana tilted her head, looking deeply concerned. "Have you been watching The Little Rascals again?"
Adanna leaned her head all the way down, shaking it side to side as she clasped her hands together tightly, then randomly started clapping in slow motion.
Nana shook her head, turning to Chief. "I think my child is broken."
Kandi chuckled at that, shaking her head as she went back to her food. Quan just sat there with his glass halfway to his mouth, tracking her movement with a raised eyebrow.
As the wave finally began to subside, Kandi pulled her wrist back. "Girl, what the hell is wrong with you?!"
Adanna swallowed hard, her throat dry. "I think... I need to go to the restroom."
Chief frowned. "What? You just got here!"
"My bad," Adanna lied, her voice still raspy as she forced herself to stand up on trembling legs. "I'm tripping. Let me just go real quick."
She practically wobbled down the hallway, and I tapped my phone screen to cut the power, picking up my fork with a satisfied smirk.
