CHAPTER TWENTY-SIX #3

“Is it not beautiful?” Kronos whispered.

It was. Daphne had never been to the sea before, but she imagined it must be something like this.

A sloped, sandy shore dipped gently down toward the edge of the lake.

The water went on seemingly forever, as far as the eye could see.

The lake was surrounded by a series of grottos that dotted the edges until they, too, disappeared into the ether. Daphne couldn’t grasp such magnitude.

“It’s…huge,” she whispered.

“It is,” Kronos said calmly.

Surely, he had seen it a hundred times before. But for Daphne—who had hardly left the village walls—it made her feel unimaginably small.

“Shall we…take a swim?” Kronos asked.

Daphne nodded. She didn’t trust herself to speak.

Kronos walked forward, stopping at the edge of the water. So did Daphne. They looked out over the glassy expanse.

“After you,” Kronos said quietly.

Daphne took a tentative step forward. The moment she submerged her toes, she sighed.

The water was gloriously warm, lapping gently at her feet.

She took another step, submerging herself up to her knees.

She looked up at Kronos. He was watching her in awe, his expression calm and joyous.

They walked together, hand in hand, and the farther they went, the quieter it got.

The water was up to her thighs now, swirling over her skin in gentle whorls.

Something within Daphne was deeply soothed by the sensation.

“How do you feel?” Kronos murmured, as if he could read her mind.

“Calm,” she said. “Is that normal?”

He shrugged. “I do not know.”

She looked up at him in surprise. “Are you saying that I’m…the first human to be here?”

He shrugged again. “I do not know,” he said simply.

Daphne stared up at him, then out at the lake, suddenly aware of its vastness. She tried to picture Kora bathing here, swimming here, existing. It was as if she were standing in the presence of legend itself. Daphne turned to Kronos. She pointed to the shore.

“Lie down,” she whispered. “I want to ride you.”

Kronos did not hesitate. A moment later his back was on the sand, and Daphne was lowering herself on top of him.

Rather than sliding herself onto his cock—which was already hard—she straddled him just below it, positioning herself so that her center was nestled into the nook between the base of his cock and his balls.

She wrapped her hand around his shaft and began to stroke.

“Daphne,” Kronos breathed.

She went slowly at first before settling into a more controlled rhythm, syncing the motion to the way she was moving her hips.

His balls were hard beneath her; she ground herself against them, stimulating her clitoris against the base of his shaft, losing herself in the tempo of pleasure.

There was no one here to see them—no one to witness their congress.

It was incredibly freeing to feel like she was truly alone with him.

Daphne moved her hips luxuriously, gyrating as slowly as she liked.

She was not worried about Kronos; she was only focused on herself.

“Gorgeous,” he whispered. “My girl.”

Daphne smiled. She moved a little faster.

It felt so good to ride him like this—to explore everything there was to experience outside of penetrative sex.

And there was so much to experience. It was not a cock in her pussy, yet it was just as enjoyable.

This felt nearly the same anyway—she was rubbing her most sensitive area against his.

What could be more intimate? There was no limit to her pleasure.

The water was all around them—perfectly warm, glistening on their skin.

It was almost a part of the experience, heightening her senses and making her even more aroused than she already was.

The hand that wasn’t on his cock went to her breasts, squeezing them, putting herself on display for him.

Kronos watched her the entire time. His balls were full beneath her.

Daphne ground herself on them, back and forth, working herself toward an orgasm.

She did not care that what she was doing was unconventional.

She did not care that Kronos had a hundred women waiting to have actual sex with him.

The fact remained that he was here with her. And that was enough for Daphne.

Kronos’s hands were wandering, sliding up her thighs and gripping her hips.

His thumb found her clitoris, pressing against it at the same time she pressed herself against him.

His cock was erect, but he didn’t stroke it.

He left that task to Daphne, who pumped her hand up and down his shaft, squeezing and teasing him until she knew he was close.

The moment she felt close too, she pressed his cock against his abs and slid herself along the shaft.

Kronos helped her there, pulling her by the hips.

By the time she reached his head, they were coming together.

Daphne watched as his cum poured from the tip of his cock, pooling on his abs.

Then she leaned forward to lick it from his torso.

She did so slowly, tracing her tongue through the grooves of his abs, not stopping until he was completely clean and she had swallowed every last drop of him.

Then she laid her torso down on his, pressing their chests together as the waves lapped at their legs.

Kronos placed his hand on her head, holding it in the center of his chest. His other hand gently stroked her back, his fingers brushing up and down her spine.

Daphne could have fallen asleep here—it was that peaceful.

She was alone underneath the mountain, skin to skin with a predator, yet she had never felt more safe.

“It is a pleasure to be here with you, Daphne,” Kronos whispered. His chest rose and fell gently, moving her along with it.

“Are you sure you wouldn’t rather be here with Penelope?”

She’d meant it as a joke, but Kronos hooked his fingers under her chin, lifting her head so that they were eye to eye. “No. I would not.”

He said it so emphatically she had no choice but to believe him. At her silence, he pulled her so close that his lips were nearly touching hers.

“I am only interested in pursuing you, Daphne,” Kronos whispered. “My body is yours. My heart is yours. Everything I have to give, I offer to you. I belong to you, Daphne.”

Eventually, they left the lake. Kronos took her hand in his, intertwining their fingers and pulling her close to his side. Daphne kept her eyes down, staring at the ground, trusting Kronos to guide her. They were almost back to his chambers when someone blocked their way.

“Kronos.”

Daphne recognized Caspenon immediately.

Beside her, Kronos halted. He didn’t reply, and Daphne couldn’t blame him. She watched in silent terror as Caspenon stepped forward, his chin held high, his shoulders thrown back.

“Stand behind me, Daphne,” Kronos said.
