Watergate Salad

INGREDIENTS:

⒈/⒉ cup chopped nuts (your favorite)

DIRECTIONS:

Combine pudding mix and pineapple with juice. Mix well. Add in marshmallows and nuts, mixing again. Blend in whipped topping and refrigerate until ready to serve.

I would say this is enough for 4 or 5 people depending on serving size.

NOTES:

I find it best to make this the night before and give it overnight for all the flavors to meld together. My mom always used chopped walnuts, but my coworker always used chopped pecans. I’m partial to the pecans.

This is indulgent and delicious and goes surprisingly fast at get-togethers.
