Chapter 3 #2
I liked Jules, and had been legitimately trying to get to know him, after ending my relationship. But now Sin was in the city, and he was all that I was trying to focus on.
“Something had come--”
“Yo, they said that you pulled up to get in the ring.”
Glancing over my shoulder, I realized that Sin J was now standing behind me. Wearing a mean-mug.
Cockily, Jules smirked, before licking his lips. “I never seen a nigga so eager to get his ass whupped.”
“And a nigga aint never talked that shit without me smacking ‘im,” Sin J growled, before slapping the fuck out of Jules.
“Sin!” I shouted
Jules countered, taking a swing, but Sin swiftly stepped back, dodging the blow.
“Say!” Terio shouted, as he jotted across the yard. “You niggas save that for the ring!”
Jules was fuming, but paused in his tracks, clearly having some restraint.
I stepped in front of Sincere. “Boy, what are you doing?”
“Nah, yo. The fuck are you doing?” He bucked his eyes, as he glowered down at me.
“Say,” My daddy sputtered, as he approached us. “The fuck is going on over here?”
Terio scratched his head, appearing perplexed. “Shit, your guess is as good as mine.”
My daddy’s eyes traveled to me. “What happened, Riah?”
I shrugged. “They just exchanged words.”
“That’s it, huh?”
“Yeah, basically.”
“Yeah, alright.” My daddy exhaled. “It looks like this is the perfect time for you lil’ niggas to hop in the ring. Y’all ready?”
“Shit, let’s go,” Jules responded, stoically.
Scowling, Sin J nodded. “I’m ready. Let’s get to it.”
“Sin,” I curled my lips. “He boxes for real.”
His nostrils flared. “So?”
Exhaling, I shook my head, as we all traveled towards the ring.
My mind was racing, when Sin slickly whispered in my ear, while nobody was looking. “Just remember that you made this shit happen.”
“Huh?” I frowned in confusion, as he pulled back while glaring at me.
After approaching the ring, both Jules and Sin J climbed onto the ring, and crossed the ropes, followed by my daddy and Terio.
Glancing around, I realized that all my siblings were now outside, including my oldest brother and sister, Jahrein Junior and Jhyrah.
Then there were their spouses, Josairah and Jeremy Junior.
So, literally, everybody was out there...
and the last thing I wanted was them witnessing my man getting tossed around that ring, even if they didn’t know that he was my man.
“I wanna see this shit,” Jahrein Junior chuckled, as he leaned against the ring. “Cause after the way Lil’ Sin just slapped the piss out of that nigga, I believe he got something.”
“Shit, he was sparring with us, and that nigga is lethal. Shit took me by surprise,” Jahrae claimed.
“But Jules do this shit professionally,” JJ argued. “Street fighting and boxing aint the same thing. So, I honestly only see this shit going one way.”
Jahrein Junior smirked. “So, you think that Jules is gonna knock him out?”
JJ nodded. “Probably so.”
Jeremey Junior chuckled. “Sometimes it’s just about raw talent, nigga.”
“Shit, let’s bet on it,” Jahrae offered.
“Hell, yeah,” Jah Junior agreed.
“Bet three hundred,” JJ suggested.
Jah Junior, Jeremy Junior, and Jahrae all agreed.
“I want in on it too,” Jahlero chimed in.
Both Sin J and Jules put on the boxing gloves, seemingly tuning the chatter out.
“Wait,” Jhyrah laughed. “Why did Little Sin slap Jules, Jahreiah? Wasn’t you over there?”
I gulped. “I don’t know, really. They just said a few words to each other. Jules got smart and Sin slapped him.”
Jhyrah’s eyes ballooned, before she leaned in and whispered. “Your sneaky ass is gonna give me the tea later.”
“What tea?” I played crazy.
“Bitch, you know. You my sister and I know how we can be. Sneaky...and freaky. Make a nigga lose his mind...or have him pimp slapping professional boxers ‘round this muthafucka,” she giggled.
I smirked, while lightly shoving her back. “Girl, bye. I don’t know what your messy ass is talking about.”
“Yeah, sure.” She winked.
“Alright, y’all ready?” Terio questioned, as he stood in the middle of the ring.
“Hell, yeah,” Jules responded. “And I’ma take it easy on you, nigga. Even though you just violated. I’ma put you on your ass, but that’s about it.” He mockingly puckered his lips at Sin J.
Wildly, Sin stood in that ring, not displaying an ounce of nervousness. If anything, he seemed mad and focused.
I mean, Sin was about an inch taller than Jules, and looked to be about the same weight.
His body was also sculptured and cut, because he practically lived in the gym, due to playing basketball.
But...he was pretty, while Jules was rugged.
Rough around the edges. Sin J had piercing grey eyes, chiseled high cheekbones, a strong jawline.
A face that had no business in a boxing ring where it could potentially be pulverized.
“Let’s get it,” Sin J mumbled.
“Alright, round one!” Terio shouted, before stepping aside.
Stalking his prey, Jules immediately approached Sin J, squaring up.
Moving his head side to side while his dukes were up, I could tell that he was about to strike.
My stomach twisted in knots, as he threw a punch, but it didn’t connect.
Then before I could process that, Sin countered with a vicious uppercut to Jules’s chin, which immediately made his knees buckle, before he dropped to the floor.
“What the fuck?!”
“Oh, my God!”
“Is this fucking for real?!”
Everybody shouted at once, after Sin had just knocked Jules out.
“I told you!” My daddy loudly clapped his hands. “I fucking told you! I aint never wrong! Remember that shit, nigga!” He addressed Terio, as he stood with his mouth dropped, apparently in a state of shock.
Standing with my hand on my chest, I was stunned…and extremely turned on. That nigga had told to me to remember that I’d made that happen. So…this lil’ kitty was getting niggas knocked out?
