Chapter 6 #2
She rolled her eyes. “Girl, boo. We aint gon look over the fact that you tried to throw me under the bus. It just didn’t go how you thought, because I aint ashamed of nothing.”
“Well, you should be ashamed of being so fucking thirsty,” I spat, while placing the rattail comb on the glass table Serenity was seated at. Quite frankly, I was ready to box it out with the bitch.
“Nah, you’re the thirsty one. Standing there dick-riding some other bitch. Talking about how his girlfriend loves to fight.”
“Yo, Yatti, chill out—”
“No, fuck that,” I seethed. “Girl, you’re clearly just running your dick suckers. Cause I was clearly talking about myself.”
“Yourself?” She frowned in confusion. “Wait. You’re his girlfriend?”
I pursed my lips. “Duh.”
She glanced at Sin. “Is she serious?”
“Yea,” he admitted.
“Oh.” She lifted her hands. “Oops. My bad, then. I guess that I wasn’t reading the room.”
“Nah, you wasn’t,” I chided, still feeling a way. Especially because at the end of the night I still had to go home, and she would still be under the same roof with him.
“Look, whatever…cuz. Trinity has been going on and on about us hanging out, and I aint trying to have no bad blood between us. You seem cool, and I don’t want this to be a issue, or whatever.”
I shrugged, as I picked the comb up. “It’ll only be an issue if you make it one.”
“Okay. Then we’re good,” she claimed, before sauntering back into the living room area.
Sin loudly exhaled. “Yo, that shit was crazy.”
“Yeah, it was,” I scoffed, as I leaned Serenity’s head sideways to braid her hair. “And it’s funny how you never mentioned that they were staying here.”
He approached me, and hovered over us. “What are you saying, right now, ma? My step moms is literally your cousin. She talks to your moms pretty much every day. We literally live in the same gated community. There was no secret. It wasn’t important enough to mention and I just assumed that you’d already heard. ”
“Yeah, whatever.” I rolled my eyes.
“So, you mad?” He furrowed his thick brows.
I sighed, while elbowing him. “Can you back up some?”
“No.”
Sucking my teeth, I focused on braiding Serenity’s hair.
“So, you call yourself ignoring me?”
My eyes remained trained on her head. “I don’t have anything else to say to you.”
“Don’t you think that’s silly?”
“Nope.” I popped my lips.
He studied me. “Ayo, why are you braiding so fast?”
“To get away from you.”
“Oh, word?”
“Yep.”
He nodded. “We’ll see about that.”
Stubbornly, I didn’t say another word, and eventually he sat at the table, watching me finish up. The entire time, I avoided eye contact, because I knew what gazing into those eyes could do to me.
By the time I was done, Serenity had been dozing off. “Hey, I’m done. Take your sister to her room,” I ordered.
“Nah.” He shook his head.
I glared at him. “Why not?”
“Because. You’re not about to run off, while I’m tucking her in,” he claimed, before glancing over his shoulder. “Yo, Sunny, come take Reny to her room.”
Sunny scooted off the couch, and moseyed over to us, before grabbing Serenity, and heading upstairs.
Grabbing my bag, I proceeded to grab all my hair supplies and dropped them inside. As I was grabbing my phone, Sin caught my hand.
“Can I talk to you for a minute, please?” He asked softly with pleading eyes.
Tapping my nails on the glass table, I inhaled. “I’m listening.”
“Nah. Not right here. Let’s go up to my room, right quick.”
I leaned my head sideways. “It’s ten o’clock, Sin. I gotta go home.”
“I understand that. I just need a few minutes of your time. I can’t have you leave like this.”
Rolling my eyes, I breathed out. “Look, whatever. Let’s go to your room.”
He nodded, before grabbing my hand, and guiding me through the house like I hadn’t been there a million times. As we ascended the stairs, I could feel Yatti’s eyes burning a hole in my back.
Together we traveled to his room, before he locked us inside.
“Sin, locking that door was really unnecessary—”
“Shut up,” he huskily breathed, before pulling me into his arms, and dipping his tongue into my mouth.
“Sin—” I struggled to get out, as he was all over me.
Honestly…this had to be what temporary insanity felt like. I’d literally just told Trinity’s cousin that I was Sin’s girlfriend, and was now locked up in his bedroom. The optics alone were enough for my mama and daddy to lose their minds, and I’d foolishly allowed Sin to undress me.
I guess my hormones were raging, and I’d abandoned all common sense, as Sin had my knees pinned to my breasts, while he was stark naked, pile driving into my pussy.
His balls was loudly slapping my ass, and perhaps that was how we didn’t hear anything, until it was too late.
“I know you fucking lying!” Trinity shouted, as she barged into the room, with a butter knife in her hand from obviously popping the lock on the door.
Sin immediately fell back, causing his dick to slip out of me.
“What the fuck?!” She slapped the door. “Not only are you disrespectful muthafuckas fucking in here, but ya doing it unprotected?! Riah, please tell me that you’re on birth control!”
Nervously, I grabbed the sheets, attempting to shield my naked body, while Sin stepped into his boxers.
“I’m sorry,” I cried.
“No.” She angrily shook her head. “That aint gon cut it, lil’ girl. You really just played in my fucking face! And what if your mama and daddy thinks that I’m down with this shit?”
“I’ll…I’ll tell them that you wasn’t,” I offered shakily.
“Oh, really?” She folded her arms under her breasts. “You expect me to let you handle the narrative? Especially after you just bullshitted me a few hours ago?”
“We were…we were gonna tell y’all,” Sin spoke up.
“When?!” She bucked her eyes.
“In a few weeks,” he responded.
She shook her head. “Put some clothes on, Riah.”
I nodded, while Sin picked my clothes off the floor and handed them to me.
“I just really can’t believe this shit,” she continued on, as I dressed.
I really wanted to ask for privacy, but knew that was probably asking for too much in that moment.
“Big Sincere is on his way home…and I don’t even know what to tell him.
His ass will probably just laugh,” she grumbled.
“Because if this was anybody else’s child, he wouldn’t care.
Swearing that a boy will be a boy. But you are Jahrein and Raven’s child.
My cousin trusted that I was keeping a eye on you, and you over here getting fucked like a grown ass woman. Unprotected,” she kept emphasizing.
“See, Trinity, I told you.” A voice uttered from the hallway.
Trinity glanced back. “Yatti, go back downstairs. I got this.”
I frowned. “What did she tell you?”
Trinity shook her head. “That’s irrelevant, right now.”
Messily, Yatti stuck her head in the doorway. “I told her that your freaked-out ass was getting smashed on, while his little sister and brother is still wide awake around here.”
My nostrils flared. “Right. And you’re jealous because he wasn’t smashing you, huh?”
“Girl, boo. Don’t get too cocky, cause you gotta go home, at the end of the day. And niggas get fucked every day—”
She didn’t finish her sentence, as I snatched her up, yanking that wig right off her head.
“Hey, now!” Trinity shouted, while I had Yatti in a headlock, pummeling her face.
“Riah!” Sin squawked, before prying me off Yatti.
Immediately, Trinity placed herself between us. “Go downstairs, Yatti!”
This time, the hoe finally listened, as she stomped out of the room.
Trinity held her forehead. “You muthafuckas got my head hurting. Go home, Riah. And I advise you to go home and tell your mama and daddy about you and Little Sincere. I’ma give you the opportunity to keep it real.
Otherwise, I’ma give them my version, and I'm not leaving out nothing. From this fight to y’all fucking in here. They’ll know it all.”
Hearing her threat, my heart skipped a beat. “Okay, just please don’t tell them about this. I’m begging you. I’ll tell them tonight. I promise to God.”
“Okay,” she breathed out. “We’ll see. Now, carry your hot ass home.”
