Chapter Twenty #2
He chuckled. “Then I’m pleased to share that I will apparently be making you happy every day for the rest of your life.”
I hooked the leash to Benny’s collar. “We’ll be back, babe.”
I took Benny out the side door to avoid walking past Calvin again. Something about the way he’d looked at me gave me the creeps. I’m glad Bennett’s going to fire him.
A few minutes later, I pushed open the front door to The White Fang. Ally was opening the bar late today so she could finish the inventory, so I knew we had a few minutes to visit before customers arrived.
“I smell dog,” Ally said, facing away from me behind the bar.
“I’m not buying your indifference,” I said. “You’re dying to come see your puppy nephew.”
Ally turned around and rolled her eyes, walking toward us slowly and disinterestedly.
Wyatt stepped through the door behind me. “Oh sweet, Benny’s here!”
I chuckled. “Hey, Wyatt.”
They both bent down and started petting him, full of smiles as they leaned toward each other for a short kiss.
“Why don’t you two get a dog?” I asked.
Wyatt laughed. “Because Ally hates the smell of them.”
“Don’t blame me just because my nose is stronger than yours. He’s adorable, but how you and Bennett stay in a house that smells like him is beyond me,” Ally said, crinkling her nose as she continued to love on Benny.
“You both look like you need something to bestow affection upon.”
Ally gave me a look of impatience. “We don’t need a dog. We’re happy to bestow affection on each other.”
I shook my head, thinking about the way Bennett completely melted in my presence. Ally and Wyatt clearly loved each other, but an alpha only melted like that for an omega. It was biology. Whether they knew it or not, they were missing out on something amazing, and my heart ached for them.
“If you’re both done, I’m going to go back to Bennett’s so we can introduce this little guy to Marley tonight,” I said.
Ally lifted one eyebrow as she stood up. “Why are you doing that?”
I stepped back warily. “Because we’re talking about moving in together.”
“When exactly?”
“Why am I getting the third degree. It seems obvious that we’re serious,” I said, looking to Wyatt for help.
He shook his head. “Just tell her when you’re moving in.”
“Why?” I asked again.
“I can fire you,” Ally said, folding her arms across her chest.
“Jeez, Als. You will do anything to win a bet,” Wyatt said, tossing his arm over her shoulders. He pulled her closer and marked her neck.
“Do not distract me,” she said to him while looking at me expectantly. “When?”
“I don’t know the exact date. I’m basically already living there, but my lease is up in about five weeks, so we figured we’d make it official then.”
“Thank you.” Ally smiled proudly before turning to Wyatt and wrapping her arms around his neck. “I’m ready for my prize.”
Wyatt smiled adoringly at her and nuzzled his nose against hers. “Of course, babe. Let’s go take care of that for you.”
“Are you placing bets on us? What did you win?” I called after them as they scurried to the back of the bar.
“What I always win. Bye,” Ally said. They disappeared, and I looked down at my puppy. “Alphas are so weird, Benny.”
He sat at my feet and panted, looking at me happily. “Yeah, yeah, we’re going back to our weird alpha now.”
Benny hopped up and pulled me forward by the leash, despite always walking beside Bennett when he was with him. It was very clear where this dog thought I fell in the hierarchy of our new household.
“I wonder if me moving in now instead of in three weeks like we planned makes Ally more or less of a winner,” I said, two weeks after she’d won whatever bet her and Wyatt had been running.
“I’m sure Wyatt was the one to bet on it taking longer than this.” Bennett laughed, taking another box from me. “Why don’t you just go inside and rest while I get the rest of these boxes?”
“No,” I said. “It was dumb of us to move my stuff today and still have everyone over for a barbecue. We should have waited and moved next weekend. I’m certainly not going to leave you to finish the work alone.”
Bennett kissed my head. “I’m not going another week without you here permanently, handsome.”
I rolled my eyes. “You possessive fucker.”
He lifted an eyebrow and dropped the box on the sidewalk. “I’ll show you possessive.” He grabbed me around the knees and threw me over his shoulder.
“Are you serious right now?” I asked, swatting his ass.
He growled. “That’s only making me hornier, Felix.”
I laughed. “You are literally the most unnecessarily protective alpha in the universe.”
He walked us into his house and tossed me onto the couch, scent marking me before dropping to his knees and rubbing his nose against the scent glands on my inner thighs.
He groaned and made quick work of taking off my pants and tossing them aside so he could lick the glands.
My cock quickly grew hard, and he palmed me with one hand, reaching up with the other to tweak my nipple piercing through my shirt.
I moaned, arching my back. “People will be here soon,” I said.
Ally, Wyatt, Reid and Oakley were coming over for a barbecue tonight, along with Wyatt’s parents.
Bennett said they did a start of summer celebration at his house every year because he liked grilling, but they did all the other summer hangouts at Ally and Wyatt’s since their house was on the lake.
I was excited to final meet Wyatt’s parents, but I didn’t want to meet them with my dick in Bennett’s mouth.
He reached into my briefs and pulled out my cock. “We have time and I want the taste of you in my mouth all night.”
I can’t argue with that logic.
I moaned as he sucked me to the back of his throat, working the underside of my dick with his tongue.
He pressed two fingers to my ass and massaged my rim with my dripping slick before pushing inside me.
Within a few thrusts, I was fucking up into his mouth and down on his fingers at the same time, completely lost to the sensations Bennett created within me.
I gripped his hair in one hand, holding his head in place as I screamed his name and unloaded down his throat.
“Fuck,” I said, trying to catch my breath.
A throat cleared from behind Bennett, and I sat up quickly, trying to cover myself and see who it was. “It’s Reid,” Bennett said, tucking me back into my briefs.
“You knew he was there?” I asked as the scent of peppermint wafted toward me.
“You told me to make it happen, so I figured you wouldn’t want me to stop and get rid of him.”
“You figured right,” I said.
I looked around Bennett’s shoulders to see Reid standing there, squeezing his dick through his shorts. “Fuck, Bennett. You must have serious oral skills. Don’t worry, Felix, he kept you covered. This possessive asshole would never have let me see your dick.”
I stared between them with wide eyes. “You really have done this before.”
“I see my reputation precedes me,” Reid said with a smirk.
“I told Felix that you like to watch,” Bennett said, pulling my pants up for me. “He was interested in the idea of making that happen.”
“Very interested,” I said, grinning.
“Don’t get used to it. Your exhibitionist desires are going to be heavily squashed by my possessive ones.” He kissed my nose and turned to Reid. “Help me with the last of the boxes, will you?”
“Sure, just don’t mind this raging hard-on. It’ll go down eventually. Hey is Oak coming tonight?”
Bennett smacked him on the back of his head. “Don’t joke about fucking my sister.”
Yeah, I don’t think he’s joking, babe.
An hour later, all of my boxes were inside, and Marley was locked in our bedroom so as not to overwhelm her with guests on her first night in our new home.
Reid, Ally, and Wyatt were drinking and laughing on the couches in Bennett’s backyard with Benny while Bennett flipped burgers and I admired him through the screen door.
I’d come in to get another beer and had gotten distracted by the sight of my gorgeous alpha.
Apparently, I can drool watching him do literally anything.
“Hey.” I turned at the sound of a female voice.
“Hey, Oakley,” I said, moving to help her with the bowl in her arms. “What did you bring?”
“Macaroni salad. It’s basically the only thing I’m allowed to bring ever since I gave everyone food poisoning from sprouts in a salad a couple years ago.”
I laughed. “I hope you find yourself an alpha who wants to cook for you every night. Speaking of, how come Donovan isn’t with you today?”
Oakley looked at me curiously. “Bennett hasn’t told you about Reid and Donovan yet?”
I shrugged, carrying her salad to the fridge. “I know they don’t get along, but he hasn’t said much more than that,” I said, sliding the bowl on the top shelf and closing the door. She held her hand out and I passed her a hard seltzer. “I assume this is what you want?”
“Yes, please,” she said, giving me a hug. “It’s going to be fun having another brother. The other two are super protective, but you’ll actually be fun to hang out with.”
I laughed. “Then start by giving me the tea. What is the deal with the Sullivan brothers?”
Oakley cracked open her seltzer. “Reid is the same age as Bennett and Wyatt, and he’s been friends with Bennett forever. Donovan was the annoying little brother who the three of them never wanted around in high school. He developed a bit of a complex as a result.”
“So they hate each other because Reid was too cool for his brother in high school?” I grabbed a beer out of the cooler on the dining room table. “Not buying it, try again.”
I cracked it open and Oak laughed. “Donovan and Reid were never close, but it got a lot worse after their father died. Donovan was nineteen, Reid was barely twenty-one. Their mother was never in the picture. After their dad died, they had a huge falling out and both of them refuse to talk about it.”
I took a deep breath. “Crap, I really like Reid, but you’re making me feel bad for Donovan. I can relate to losing a father at a young age, that’s for sure.”
“Are we, like, a little band of orphans around here?” Oak asked.
