The door clicks shut as Leo and Al leave the room to get fresh towels and water.

Lily is still wrapped around me, her body soft and warm against mine. Her breath fans over my chest, shaky and uneven.

I tighten my hold on her, stroking slow circles over her back.

“Hey,” I murmur, brushing a strand of damp hair from her face.

She blinks up at me, her lashes heavy, lips swollen from our kisses. There’s a dazed sort of glow to her. Her eyes are still glassy with pleasure, and her body is completely relaxed in my arms.

“You okay, sweetheart?”

She smiles, small and sleepy, and it makes me melt.

“Mmm,” she hums, nestling closer. “More than okay.”

I chuckle softly, pressing a kiss to her forehead. “Yeah?”

She nods, tracing lazy patterns over my chest.

There’s a quiet intimacy settling between us, something deeper than the heat that just consumed us. Our bond hums in my veins.

I never thought I’d have this.

Lily shifts slightly, grazing over the fresh mark on her neck. My mark.

A deep, primal satisfaction settles in my chest at the sight.

She’s mine.

Ours.

She lets out a breathy sigh, her lips grazing over my skin.

“I like it when you’re like this,” she murmurs.

I quirk a brow. “Like what?”

She tilts her chin up, studying me, soft and unguarded.

“Calm,” she says finally. “Like you’re not trying to be cocky or charming or…” She trails off, biting her lip.

I smirk, dragging a hand down her back. “Don’t you like me better when I’m hard?”

She rolls her eyes, but her cheeks flush.

“I like all of you,” she murmurs, a little more serious now. “But… this?” She traces the curve of my jaw, her touch featherlight. “This is perfect.”

Something tightens in my chest and I look down, flushing.

Lily laughs softly, pressing her forehead against mine.

“Don’t worry, I won’t tell anyone that you’re actually a softie deep down,” she whispers.

I smile against her lips, kissing her full and unhurried.

Just as I start to sink into her warmth again, the door creaks open.

“Well, well,” Leo’s voice carries through the room. “Has our resident bad boy finally revealed his tender heart?”

Lily laughs against my chest, and I sigh dramatically, rolling my eyes.

Way to kill the mood, Leo.

Al steps inside, placing fresh towels onto the bed before handing me a bottle of water.

I help Lily sit up, cradling her against my chest as I bring the bottle to her lips.

As she downs it in one gulp, a new spark flickers in her eyes, her scent turning sweeter.

Her Heat is nowhere near finished.

After all, there’s still one more Alpha left to claim her.

And judging by the way Leo and Lily are looking at each other, the night is far from over.
