Chapter 18 #3

His hand moved first, sliding slowly down my sternum.

His thumb dragged over one breast until I arched into it, then his palm crossed the flutter of my stomach.

His fingers found me already soaked and slid through the slick as he pressed a groan into my throat.

He circled once, twice, relearning what made my hips jerk, and when he pressed inside with two fingers, curling, I heard myself make a noise I didn't recognize while I clenched his fingers tight.

"There," he said, watching my face like it was the only thing in the room. "That. I felt that."

The mattress dipped twice. Denil settled near my head, his cool palm brushing damp hair from my forehead.

Isak stretched along my side, leaving Miner clear space over me, his mouth at my shoulder and his voice low and filthy at my ear.

Look at you, you're drenched for him, you're so ready, you're perfect.

Miner kept working me open through every word until I rocked against his hand and reached for him with both of mine.

"Please," I said. "Miner. Now. Please?—"

"I've got you." He drew his fingers free, shed the last of what he was wearing in one motion, and settled his hips between my thighs where I'd already opened for him. He notched himself against me and pressed in.

Slow. So slow. An inch, then another. He stretched me beyond anything I’d taken in months, toy collection included.

Miner watched my face as he went, stopping at the catch of my breath and holding still when my hands clawed at his shoulders.

His mouth stayed close to mine through every one of those breaths.

Each pause was active: his hips held still, his shoulders shook above me, and my slick worked around the pressure until I could breathe again.

He moved only when the ache tipped back toward good.

Then he pressed deeper, steady on his forearms, relentless without hurrying, until the last inch settled inside me and I shook around him, stretched, held, utterly full.

"There," he said, and his voice had gone wrecked and even at once, sweat at his temple, his forehead dropping to mine. "That's it. God, you feel... you're perfect. I've got you."

Then he moved. Slow, deep, every stroke deliberate, dragging out to the edge and rolling back home, and each one hit some place inside me that made my vision blur at the corners.

His hand cradled my head, fingers buried in my hair, while his weight balanced on the other forearm.

His mouth found mine between breaths. Denil, up by my head, laced his fingers through my free hand and held when I gripped.

Isak's mouth moved to my breast, and his hand slid down along my belly to find my clit where Miner drove into me, and the two sensations together, Miner filling me and Isak's fingers circling tight, pulled a cry out of my throat that broke apart into something wordless.

"That's it," Miner breathed, his rhythm never faltering. "Let me hear you. I want all of it."

Pleasure climbed and climbed without breaking, fed by Miner, my heat, and the overwhelming rightness of it.

My body drew tight around his drag, the slick sound of every stroke, Isak’s relentless fingers, Denil’s low voice above me: good, that's so good, look at her, look at how she takes him.

The pressure narrowed my vision. Miner ground deep on the next stroke and held, filling me with stretch and friction and the deliberate focus of a man taking every cue from my breath, my hands, the flex of my body under his.

"I'm..." I got out. "Miner, I'm going to?—"

"I know," he said, ragged. "I've got you. Come on. Let go. I've got you?—"

It broke over me all at once. The orgasm rolled up from where he was buried and outward through everything, my back arching off the sheets, my hand crushing Denil's fingers, my whole body clenching hard around Miner as I came apart with his name in pieces in my mouth.

He held through it, hips still working slow and relentless, dragging the pleasure out longer than I thought my body could survive, wringing every last wave from me until I was shaking and gasping and boneless beneath him.

And then Miner let go. His control gave in under me.

His breath caught, his forehead stayed pressed to mine, and his voice broke open with no room left for restraint.

"Nitsa. Nitsa." He came with my name against my mouth and his hand tight in my hair, spilling deep, his whole body shuddering into stillness over me. The sound was rawer and more helpless than anything I’d heard from him. It reached a place in my chest the orgasm hadn’t.

For a long moment neither of us moved. He'd lowered his weight down onto me gently, pressing my hot body into the mattress enough that I felt overwhelmingly held, his forehead against mine, both of us breathing hard, his mint and my honeysuckle and the salt-warm smell of what we'd done hanging in the air between us.

His thumb stroked my temple, once, so gentle it undid me a little more.

"There you are," he murmured. "You came back to me."

I lay wrung out and trembling, satisfied down to the bone. The ache in me had finally been answered; three months of patient wanting, distance, and doubt had met me all at once in Miner’s body.

And still, unmistakably, in heat.

Because it was already building again, faster this time, my body warm, open, and wanting while the next rise gathered before I’d fully come down.

The returning pull tightened low around him where he was still inside me.

Miner felt it and lifted his head. His pupils were blown wide, but the look he gave me stayed soft.

"That's one," he said quietly. Not finished. A beginning. "You're just getting started, aren't you?"

I was. Heat already pulled low through my hips again, insistent enough to make my body tighten before the last shudders had settled.

My skin burned against the cool sheets; honeysuckle spiked wild off my neck.

Miner felt the change. He eased out slowly, kept one hand braced at my hip until the emptiness stopped aching, then shifted to one side and laid his palm over my stomach.

Denil remained near my head, fingers still laced with mine, his breath ragged.

Isak stayed along my other side, mouth close to my shoulder, one hand flexing against the mattress. Both waited for me to reach again.
