Chapter 21
Ian
I’m gonna kill him. I’m going to fucking murder that bastard.
Wrapping my hand around his neck, I shove him against the wall. His eyes widen, lips parting in a gasp as he lets out a choked sound.
My nostrils flare, chest heaving. “You dare fucking touch my Omega?” I snarl, getting in his face. “My fucking Omega. You have a death wish, don’t you?”
“Ian!” Nova screams, hitting my back but I don’t budge as I choke this motherfucker. “Ian, let go of him!”
“No,” I growl. “Not until all the life has drained from his eyes.”
“You can’t do that!” she shouts. “I can’t lose my damn Alpha to prison, okay?”
“You have two more, you will survive. Him on the other hand...”
I grunt as my feisty little Omega jumps on my back, wraps her arm around my neck, and puts me in a chokehold. “Let go of him, now. Don’t make me hurt you.”
It’s pretty cute that she thinks she can, although the grip she has on me isn’t half bad.
She grunts and struggles, but I don’t let go of his neck, his face starting to turn blue. Why isn’t this fucker trying to fight back? It’s like he’s accepted his fate. Pussy.
“Dear god!” Nova grunts and groans. “It’s like you're the Terminator or something.”
“Please,” Tucker manages to gasp out.
“Ian. Please, you’re going to kill him.” I hate the panic in Nova’s voice.
Grunting in displeasure, I let the little shit go.
Tucker falls to the ground, gasping for air as he rubs at his neck, staring up at me with wide, fearful eyes. Good, he should be afraid of me.
“I can’t believe you just did that!” Nova slaps me upside the head.
I grunt, then growl as I flip her over my shoulder and lay her down on a nearby table. “Now, now, Little Omega.” I step between her legs, grinning at her as I pin her arms above her head. “No need to hit me.”
“I wouldn’t have to hit you if you didn’t go all crazy bastard on us as soon as we walked in the door!”
“What did you expect?” I cock my head to the side.
“Another man, who wasn't one of my brothers, was holding your hand.” I lean in, running my nose along her jaw line, rolling my hips as I grind my erection against her core, pulling a soft whimper from her. “You’re mine, Nova. I don’t care to see you with other men. ” I nip at her jaw before pulling back.
She watches me with wild eyes, chest heaving. She’s so fucking pretty. I should take her home, strip her down and use that ponytail as a rein while I fuck her from behind.
Fuck, now my cock is throbbing at the thought. I could just fuck her here and show the little prick who she belongs to.
“I’m sorry. It was inconsiderate to blindside you like that, but we need to talk.”
My brows furrow. “If you’re planning on breaking up with me, not a chance. I marked you, you’re mine,” I growl.
“No, nothing like that. I marked you too, so you're mine and nothing's ever going to change that.”
“Then why were you holding his hand?” I grunt, jealousy clawing at me right now.
“That’s why we need to talk. Please.”
Huffing, I let go of her hands and step away. Going over to the door, I lock it so no one comes in.
I shoot a glare at Tucker, who’s still on the ground, hand around his neck. His breathing has evened out but I can already see the bruising I don’t like it. The only one with my marks on their body should be my Little Doe, not this other Omega.
Narrowing my eyes, I growl, “I kidnapped her first, so she’s mine.”
“Ian,” Nova groans. “You can’t go around telling people you kidnapped me! Especially not the police.”
“He won’t say shit, not unless he wants to swim with the fishes,” I chuckle. “You like fish, little Omega?” I cock my head to the side. “I know a place that has lots of them, even a few sharks.” I wiggle my brows, and Tucker’s eyes flick to Nova’s pleadingly. “She can’t save you, big guy.”
“Ian.” Nova narrows her eyes at me. “Behave.”
“But I don’t want to,” I pout.
“Come. Sit. Now,” she demands and points to the chair.
Like the whipped Alpha I am, I do as she’s asked of me. Sitting down in the chair heavily, I cross my arms and glare at the Omega as Nova helps him up. I growl, not liking that she’s still touching him again.
“Are you okay?” Nova asks, checking him over.
“Stop it.” I grunt. “Stop babying him, I don’t like it.”
Nova shoots me a grin. “You know, it’s fucking adorable how jealous you are over me. But baby, you can’t hurt this one.”
“Why not?” I cock a brow. “I can hurt anyone I want if they try to come between me and my Omega.”
“No one is coming between anyone.”
“I’m fine,” Tucker rasps. “Nothing that won’t fade in a few days.”
“Come over here and I can fix that.” I grin.
“Ian.” Nova crosses her arms. “Stop it.”
“Make me.”
Nova pinches the bridge of her nose. “Dear gods, why me? Why three stubborn as fuck Alphas? I’m a good person. What did I do to deserve this?” she mutters to herself before looking at me. “You, sir, are right next to Nick on the list of people who are going to give me grey hair.”
“Sounds sexy.” I shrug.
She rolls her eyes and pulls out a chair at the opposite side of the table. “Sit,” she instructs Tucker before taking the seat between the both of us. “Now, we have some things to talk about.”
“No, we don’t. He leaves and stays away from you forever, end of story.”
“No.” Nova glares at me. “It’s not that easy.”
“Why not?”
“Because Tucker just so happens to be Nick’s other scent match.”
My eyes widen and I look from Nova, to Tucker, to Nova and back to Tucker again before bursting out laughing.
I laugh and laugh until I can’t breathe, a pain forming in my side. “You’re joking, right?”
“No.” Nova gives me an unimpressed look, making me laugh harder.
“God, give me the strength,” I hear Nova mumble.
When I’m able to get a hold of myself, I take a few deep breaths. “I’m sorry.” I wipe my eyes. “It’s just so funny.”
“I don’t see how any of this is funny,” Tucker grumbles.
“That’s because you don’t know my brother. Oh, fuck. Can I be there when he finds out? This is going to be priceless. Ten bucks that the vein on his forehead pops.”
“Ian, you’re being rude.”
“No, Little Doe, I’m being realistic. You think this is going to go over well with Nick?”
“No,” Nova sighs heavily, and Tucker frowns at her. “I’m sorry, but it’s the truth. I told you to be prepared.” She shrugs.
“Him being Nick’s scent match doesn’t explain why you two were holding hands,” I point out.
“I want to date your Omega too,” Tucker states with more confidence than I thought he had in him.
I blink at him. “This is a joke, right?” I ask Nova.
“No, it’s not a joke,” Nova repeats. “I like him, okay? He’s nice, funny, cute, and if he’s going to be part of the pack, I don’t see why we can’t build something too.”
“Maybe because he’s the cop who’s trying to lock us up?”
“I’m not going to do that,” Tucker confesses. “I already told Will that I’m dropping the case. No one will reopen it again. It’s going to die out and you all will be fine.”
“Wait, Will knows?”
Nova nods. “We just left his shop.”
“And what does he think about pretty boy here dating you too?”
“He is alright with it.”
“I find that hard to believe.” I shake my head.
“Call him and ask him yourself. Tucker is Nick’s scent matched Omega, too. It’s not going to be easy, but I know eventually Nick will accept it and give in.”
I let out a heavy sigh. I don’t like this, not at all. The idea of another man touching what's mine makes me stabby. But if he is Nick’s Omega, then I’m going to have to accept he’s going to be in the pack anyway.
“Here’s the deal.” I lean forward. “I’m not fucking you.”
Tucker’s eyes go wide. “I didn’t ask you to,” he sputters.
“Good. Sure, you’re a pretty boy, but I’m not into men. When it comes to your heat, that’s on Nick and Nova. But, hey, if you want, I can get one of those clone-a-cock kits and give you one of mine if it will help.”
Tucker blinks at me. “Uuuhh, thank you?”
“No problem.” I stand. “So, who wants cupcakes?” I ask, heading to the counter. Rounding it, I grab the fresh ones I was putting in the display case before they came in. “Freshly baked. Chocolate with a caramel frosting and filling.”
Plating a few, I bring them over to the table and place one in front of each Omega. “Coffee black, right?” I ask Tucker. He nods slowly, staring at me like I’m some kind of alien or something. How rude! But I guess I did just nearly kill him, so I’ll let it go. This time.
“Yes,” he whispers.
Nodding, I make him a cup of coffee, and then whip up the drink I know my Omega likes before joining them at the table again.
“Thanks?” Tucker blinks at it.
Nova is grinning, shaking her head. She leans forward and grips my chin. “I fucking love your crazy ass.” She kisses me hard. I moan, pulling her into my lap as I deepen the kiss.
“See this?” I break the kiss and look over to Tucker who’s watching with heated cheeks. “My girl. Remember that. I come first.”
“Not always,” Nova jokes.
I chuckle. “In that case, never,” I growl, nipping at her bottom lip. “I always make sure my Omega cums first.”
“This is so weird,” Tucker murmurs as he picks at the cupcake.
“Oh, sweetie,” Nova laughs. “You haven’t even seen the half of it.”
“So, how is this going to work?” I ask. “He's gonna quit the force?”
“No,” Tucker grinds out. “Why would I?”
“Uhhh, because you’re a cop and your Alpha is the president of an MC? I don’t think that’s going to go over too well with the men.”
“I don’t want to quit. I like my job.”
“Then you know you can’t arrest any of us if we do illegal shit? Not saying we do, but, if we did.” I snap my fingers. “Oh! You could be the man on the inside. Like, cover shit up for us.”
“No.” Nova slaps me. “Don’t ask him to be a corrupt cop. He’s already doing you enough favors by dropping the case against you. Not that there’s a reason for one, because they did nothing wrong.” Nova stares Tucker down.
His lips twitch with a smile as he looks at my Omega with soft eyes. Ugh, I’m gonna have to share her more, aren’t I?
