Chapter 23
Chapter Twenty-Three
Chase
“Look how good you take our cocks, baby girl,” Axel growls as thrusts into Mandy from behind. We’ve quickly learned that this is her favorite position.
We’ve also learned that she goes extra wild when she can have both of us at the same time.
Her bright blue eyes are wide and watery as she looks up at me, her pretty pink lips wrapped around my cock as she takes it to the back of her throat, twirling her tongue around the tip.
Fuck, she’s good at this.
I run my hands through her hair, gripping the side of her head, and watching as she takes me in and out. My omega has no gag reflex. Through our bond, I can feel how much she enjoys having me at her mercy, and just how much she likes to be praised.
My eyes fly to the mark on her neck, guilt flooding through me at the memory.
When I realized what I’d done during my rut, I wanted to leave. I didn’t feel like I deserved to be here. That maybe she wasn’t as safe with me as I thought.
But when I tried to sneak away like the pussy I am, she woke up and caught me. That was when I felt her through the bond for the first time. Her emotions were mixed and clouded with lust, but her feelings were clear even so.
She was hurt that I was trying to leave. The pain cut sharply through the tether that connects us, but underneath was a joy and contentment I’d never experienced for myself.
So I stayed. Because I fucking love her. I’ve loved her for my whole goddamn life, and if this is what she wanted, then I’ll gladly let her have her moment and swallow the guilt that comes with knowing it didn’t happen in the way it should have.
Mandy’s teeth scrape along the length of my cock, and I groan at the edge of pain, something I never knew I’d enjoy. Her whole heat has been full of firsts and new experiences, making me glad I waited to have them with her.
“He likes that, doesn’t he, Mally?” Axel grunts as his hands grip her hips, helping support some of her weight. “Use one of your hands to massage his knot. That’s it. Just like that.”
Mandy obeys, supporting herself with one hand and using the other to grip my knot. My whole body spasms as she massages my swollen base, my orgasm inching closer and closer.
Axel’s thrusts become wilder, faster and less controlled, causing Mandy to take me deeper down her throat as her palm continues to rub and massage my knot in an unrelenting motion.
Tears pour from her eyes as she moans around my cock, her climax finding her.
The vibrations of her moan send me over the edge, and I come hard, streams of cum shooting into her mouth as Axel slams into her one last time, sinking his knot into her and moaning through his own release.
Mandy massages my knot, squeezing every drop of cum out of me before pulling away and licking her lips as she collapses in an exhausted heap.
Her contentment is strong through the bond and in the pheromone-soaked air around us.
“Such a good girl,” I murmur, wiping a drop of cum from the corner of her mouth as Axel adjusts them to lie more comfortably until his knot releases the two of them.
The corner of her mouth tilts up in a small smile as her eyelids flutter closed, shortly followed by a soft snore that lets us know she’s drifted off to sleep.
“Her scent has changed, and she’s more at peace internally,” I say to Axel as he adjusts the blanket over the two of them. “I think her heat has broken.”
“Mmm,” Axel mumbles as he nuzzles his face into her hair and drapes an arm over her waist. “I think you’re probably right. Good thing, too. Coach wants us at the game tomorrow night.”
“Shit.”
“Yeah. Let’s get some rest.”
I wish it were that easy.
As Axel drifts off to sleep, I find that I’m not worried about the upcoming game or how terrible a season the Scented Scorpions are having.
Despite how content she seems right now, I’m worried Mandy’s feelings might change and she might resent me for marking her during my rut.
The tapping of keys on a keyboard stirs me from my sleep. At some point, I must have drifted off.
I groan as I stretch and crack my eyes open. The fairy lights are off, the heavy drapes pulled open revealing a view of the early dawn on the horizon.
The tapping sounds again, and I push myself up on an elbow and glance around the room, looking for the source. Axel is still asleep in the same spot as last night, but Mandy is no longer in the nest with us.
Instead, she’s wrapped in a towel and seated on her beanbag with her laptop on her knees, her wet hair clinging to the sides of her face as she frantically types away.
Climbing out of the nest, I find my boxers and pull them on before moving toward her and placing a kiss on the top of her head.
“Morning, Dee. How are you feeling?”
“Inspired,” she replies, glancing up at me with a grin. “And hungry.”
“I’ll wrangle some food together. You good here?”
“Yep,” she says, her attention already back on the screen before her. I can feel the intensity of her focus through the bond. She’s in the zone.
Leaving her to it, I make my way to the kitchen to figure out what I can make my omega for breakfast. There are all the makings of an omelet in the fridge, so I prepare the ingredients, cutting the veggies and whisking the eggs before flicking the stove on.
Just as I’m dishing up, Mandy and Axel appear.
“That smells good,” Axel groans, stretching his arms above his head like he does every morning.
“You’ll have to wait your turn. This one is for Mandy.”
“Mmmm,” Mandy says, taking a seat at the bench. “Looks delicious. Thanks, Chase.”
“You’re welcome. It’s the least I can do.” My eyes are drawn to her neck, and I swallow hard. “I’m sorry about that,” I say, gesturing towards my bite as I plate up her omelet. “Truly, I am.”
Mandy’s eyes find mine, and it feels like she can see to the very deepest parts of my soul.
“Wait here,” she says, jumping off the stool and heading back down the hall. A minute later she appears with an old journal, flipping through the pages.
“Aha, here it is. Read this.”
She hands me the journal, and I take it from her, my eyes landing first on the date scribbled in the top right corner. It’s dated the day before our high school prom.
“Go on,” she says when I glance up at her questioningly. “I can feel your guilt, and I don’t want your apologies. I want you to understand this was always where I wanted to be.”
Swallowing against the lump in my throat, I nod and read the diary entry.
She starts the entry by expressing how excited she is for prom, then moves into some ruminations about our designations.
One line at the very end catches my eye, and the moment I read it, all the uneasiness inside me settles, and an overwhelming feeling of relief and unrestrained happiness washes over me.
It doesn’t matter whether I’m an omega, alpha, or beta. I know it won’t matter to him. One day I’ll wear Austin’s bite on my neck, I have no doubt about that. And that day will be one of the happiest of my life.
“The road we took wasn’t as direct as I thought it would be back then, but this is always where we were going.
I wanted you to mark me. I begged you to.
And I’m beyond happy that you did. I love you, Chase.
Always have, always will. There’s only one thing that could make me feel happier and more complete than I do right now. ”
She turns to face Axel and moves toward him, stopping only when she’s standing between his thighs, face to face with him.
“I’ve fallen in love with you too, Axel.
Faster and stronger than I thought I could ever possibly fall for someone.
We’re scent-matched, fated, but you’re so much more than that to me, and I want to be with the both of you.
Will you give me your mark, Axel? Make the three of us a pack and let me flaunt it to the world? ”
Axel doesn’t hesitate. His hand grips the back of her neck, tilting her head to the side, exposing the side of her throat unmarked by me.
Mandy sucks in a breath, her perfume thickening the air as Axel leans in and bites down, giving her exactly what she asked for, bonding her and completing the pack bond between the three of us.
