SHORT STORIES 7 #2

The bra lifted her breasts into a clean line of cleavage, and she knew both men were looking.

She let them. She stood still and breathed until the first shock loosened.

Then she unzipped her shorts and slid them down her legs, stepping free carefully so she would not wobble in the low heels.

Those went to Sam as well. Now she was in pale lace and sandals, the shape of her hips and the long lines of her thighs fully visible.

The panties had ridden slightly between her legs, enough to show the soft seam of her body. She did not fix them.

Francis said quietly, "You are doing well. Remember, half the class will be behind you. Turn around when you are ready."

Aria turned.

She knew what they were seeing. The curve of her back. The firm lift of her bottom. The way the lace had settled into the split between her cheeks. She stayed that way longer than she meant to, heart hammering, heat gathering low in her belly. When she faced them again, Sam looked almost dazed.

"You are incredible," he said under his breath. "Sorry. I know I am supposed to be professional. But you are."

Aria laughed shakily. "I will take the compliment."

The bra came next.

She reached behind herself, unhooked it, and held the cups in place for a long moment while both men waited. She could see the tension in them, the careful stillness, the hunger they were trying not to make ugly. That power surprised her. It also aroused her more than she was ready to admit.

"I am not sure," she whispered, mostly to feel the words.

Francis did not push. Sam looked like he might actually stop breathing.

Aria lowered her hands.

Her breasts were full, soft, still high enough to make her proud, nipples already thickened and flushed from nerves and excitement.

She let the bra fall into Sam's waiting hand and turned slowly so they could see her from every angle.

The air touched her bare skin everywhere at once. She felt ridiculous and radiant.

"Aria," Francis said, almost reverent, "you were born for this."

She faced them again, thumbs sliding under the sides of her panties, teasing the fabric down an inch and then pulling it back up. "I do not know if I can do the rest. If I take these off, you will see everything."

Sam made a low sound that might have been a laugh or a prayer. "We know."

"And I need you both to be honest after," she said. "If I look foolish, say so."

"You will not," Francis said.

Aria turned her back again. That felt easier and more dangerous at the same time.

She eased the panties down over her hips, over the round bare cheeks of her bottom, down her thighs, and stepped out of them.

Sam took them. She saw, from the corner of her eye, the brief way he brought the lace close to his face before setting it aside.

She pretended not to notice. The fact that she liked it shocked her.

She stayed bent for a moment, feet slightly apart, giving them the full view from behind. Soft. Open. Completely bare. Then she straightened and turned around.

There was no fabric left to hide behind. Her pussy was smooth because she had shaved that morning with that same unspoken just in case. Her nipples were tight. Her thighs felt unsteady. For several seconds no one spoke.

"Well?" she asked, trying for lightness and landing somewhere breathier. "Do I look all right?"

"You look perfect," Francis said.

"Better than perfect," Sam added. "Your body is... Aria, you are stunning."

She stepped closer to the edge of the platform, close enough that they had to tip their faces up. "Be honest about all of it. My breasts?"

"Beautiful," Francis said. "Shape, weight, color. Your nipples are exquisite."

She turned and glanced back over her shoulder. "My ass?"

Sam answered that one too quickly to be polite. "The best I have ever seen. Soft and firm at the same time. I mean that."

Aria faced them again and, after a brief hesitation, slid one hand down over her stomach and rested her fingers just above her bare mound. "And this? I feel more exposed here than anywhere."

Francis's voice was calm and warm. "You should not. You are lovely there. Clean lines. Soft. Inviting without trying."

Sam nodded hard. "Pretty. Really pretty. I keep wanting to look and then feeling like I should apologize for looking."

"Do not apologize," Aria said, and surprised herself with how much she meant it. "If I am going to do this, I need to know I can stand being seen."

She stayed nude for nearly twenty minutes after that.

Francis had her try simple poses: seated on the wooden chair with one knee raised, standing with her hands behind her head, half-turned with her weight on one leg.

Each change made her newly aware of her breasts, her hips, the soft place between her thighs.

Sam watched with open awe and an obvious struggle to stay composed.

Francis watched like an artist first and a man second, though Aria could see both in his eyes.

By the time she finally reached for her clothes, her skin was flushed and her thoughts were anything but orderly.

"I can do this," she said as she dressed, still trembling a little. "I think I actually can."

Francis smiled like a man who had been given a gift he had waited years to receive. "Then come next week. Be my first model. Help me make these men feel human again."

Sam stood, respectful now that the spell was breaking. "For what it is worth, if you show up, that room is going to be the luckiest place in the county."

Aria drove home in a daze, windows down, body still humming. Every mile of road seemed to replay the moment she had let the last scrap of lace leave her skin. She had expected shame to crash over her. Instead she felt vivid. Awake. Chosen by her own daring.

When she walked into the house, her husband took one look at her face and said, "You did more than plan a class."

"I did," Aria said.

She told him everything. Not a summary. A full retelling, standing in their living room in the same clothes, using the same chair, undressing again piece by piece while she described Francis and Sam watching her.

By the time she was bare in front of her husband, reenacting the final turn on the platform, both of them were breathing hard.

He did not interrupt except to ask how she had felt, what she had seen in their faces, whether she had liked the power of making them wait.

"Yes," she admitted, naked and honest in the soft lamplight. "I liked it more than I expected. I liked being wanted without being touched. I liked knowing I could stop and choosing not to."

He drew her down into his lap, hands careful, mouth against her throat. "And next week?"

Aria closed her eyes. She could already picture the circle of easels, the older men with pencils raised, Francis at the edge of the room, and her own bare body in the center under hard practical lights.

"Next week," she said, "I am going to walk onto that platform and let ten men draw me."

Her husband kissed her like she had brought home a secret fire. "Then Chapter two starts in that classroom."

Aria laughed softly against his mouth, still naked, still glowing with the memory of strangers' eyes.

"Yes," she whispered. "It does."

The week between Aria's trial and the first class moved too slowly and too fast at the same time.

She chose her clothes with deliberate care on the morning of the session: a simple wrap dress that came off easily, soft sandals with a low heel, and nothing underneath except the knowledge of her own bare skin waiting beneath the fabric.

When her husband noticed, he only smiled and kissed the corner of her mouth.

"You look calm," he said.

"I am not calm," Aria answered. "I am decided. That is different."

The drive upstate felt longer than before.

Fields and water and open sky passed the windows while her body stayed quietly restless.

She kept thinking of the basement room, the platform, Francis's steady voice, and Sam's stunned honesty.

She also kept thinking of ten older men with pencils in their hands and no reason to look away.

Francis was already there when she arrived, setting out paper and charcoal and checking the lights over the platform. He looked up and softened at once.

"You came," he said.

"I said I would."

"Saying it and arriving in the dress you plan to take off are not the same thing." He gestured to the back counter. "There is water, coffee, and a robe if you want it later. You do not have to use the robe. Some models like the option."

"I will see how I feel."

Sam appeared in the doorway a minute later with a box of extra easels. When he saw Aria, he nearly lost his grip on the cardboard.

"You actually came back," he said.

"I did."

Sam set the box down carefully, as if sudden movement might scare her out of the building. "I have been thinking about last week more than I should admit."

Aria felt heat climb her throat and did not hide it. "So have I."

Francis glanced between them with mild amusement and no disapproval.

"The men will start arriving in twenty minutes. Social half hour first. Then you take the platform. Two hours of poses with short breaks. After that, if you are willing, stay bare for the closing conversation. It keeps them present. It also pays you for the extra time."

"I am willing," Aria said.

The men arrived in ones and twos.

They were exactly what Francis had described and also more human than Aria had imagined from a distance.

White hair, thick hands, careful steps, flannel shirts, the smell of soap and old trucks and outdoor work.

Some were shy the moment they saw her. Some brightened like boys.

One named Harold told her she looked like someone from a painting he had once seen in a dentist's office and then apologized three times for saying it.

Another, Walter, simply nodded and said it was good of her to help.

Aria moved among them during the first half hour with her dress still on, pouring coffee, asking about farms and dogs and weather.

The dress made her feel like she was holding a secret against her skin.

Every time fabric brushed her bare breasts or the soft place between her thighs, she remembered what she had agreed to do.

At the half hour mark, Francis clapped once.
