SHORT STORIES 8 #3

The man beneath her thrust up into her. Harper came hard enough that her arms nearly gave out, and the climax rolled into another almost without pause.

When the man under her finished, he stayed inside her until Chase pulled free and helped her ease off.

Harper collapsed onto her side, shaking, laughing softly into the sheets.

"I need one more round," she said after a minute. "All of you. I want to finish covered and full."

They gave it to her.

Reid took her again against the headboard, one of her legs hooked over his arm, driving into her until she clawed at his shoulders and came with her forehead pressed to his.

Another man sat at the edge of the bed and had her ride him reverse, her back against his chest, while Chase stood in front of her and let her suck him until he painted her tongue and lips.

Benjamin took her next on her back, slow and deep, kissing her through it like they were alone, even though they were anything but.

The last guest finished on her breasts while she stroked him and whispered for him not to hold back.

By the end, Harper lay in the middle of the bed surrounded by spent men, body marked from throat to thighs, pussy swollen and leaking, heels still on because no one had bothered to take them off.

The suite smelled of sex, whiskey, and cigar smoke.

Outside, the Strip kept flashing as if nothing in the world had changed.

Benjamin dismissed the others with quiet thanks and firm handshakes at the door. Chase was the last to leave. He paused by the bed, looked down at Harper, and brushed his knuckles lightly along her ankle.

"Happy birthday," he said.

Harper smiled, exhausted and radiant. "Thank you for winning that hand."

Chase glanced at Benjamin, got a nod of respect in return, and left. The door closed. The suite went still except for the low hum of the air conditioning and Harper's uneven breathing.

Benjamin brought a warm washcloth from the bathroom and cleaned her with slow care, starting at her face, then her chest, then between her legs. Harper watched him through heavy lashes, too tired to move and too satisfied to want anything else.

"How do you feel?" he asked.

Harper thought about it honestly. Her body ached in the best way. Her mind felt clear, almost light. There was no shame waiting underneath the pleasure, only the deep calm of a fantasy finally lived all the way through.

"I feel like myself," she said. "Not the careful version. The whole version. I feel taken care of and completely used at the same time, and I did not know those two things could live together this well."

Benjamin smiled and kissed the inside of her wrist. "They can when it is chosen."

He helped her out of the heels, then into the shower. Under the hot water he washed her hair, soaped her back, and held her when her legs wobbled. Harper leaned into him and closed her eyes. For a while neither of them spoke. The night did not need more words yet.

Later, wrapped in a robe with damp hair and clean skin, Harper sat on the edge of the bed while Benjamin counted the cash from the final ante and set it on the nightstand beside her.

"Four thousand," he said. "Yours."

Harper looked at the money, then at him, and laughed softly. "I would have done it for free."

"I know," Benjamin said. "That is why it is hotter that they paid."

She pulled him down beside her. They lay facing each other in the half dark, city light cutting across the sheets in thin gold lines. Harper traced a finger along his chest.

"Would you do it again someday?" she asked.

Benjamin did not answer right away. He studied her face as if he wanted to be sure of what he saw there. "If you asked. If we planned it. If it stayed like this. Safe. Clear. Wanted."

"It will," Harper said. "I do not want chaos. I want nights like this when we choose them. And I want ordinary mornings after, just like this one is going to be."

"Good," he said. "Because tomorrow I am buying you breakfast, and then we are going to sleep until the afternoon like people who earned it."

Harper smiled and tucked herself against him.

Her body still hummed with memory: Chase against the glass, Reid behind her, two men filling her at once, Benjamin watching with pride instead of fear.

She had been passed around a poker table and had never once felt small.

She had felt powerful in the exact way she had always hoped she might.

Before sleep took her, she whispered one last thing against her husband's throat.

"Thank you for seeing me."

Benjamin's arm tightened around her. "Thank you for trusting me with all of you."

The suite lights stayed low. The money sat on the nightstand. Far below them, Las Vegas kept dealing its endless hands to strangers who would never know what had happened in the room above the Strip.

Harper slept first, deeply and without regret.

Benjamin stayed awake a little longer, listening to her breathe, already knowing that whenever she asked for another night like this, he would build it for her with the same care, the same rules, and the same open door for every desire she was brave enough to name.
