15. Lila

Lila

“Here?” Wes asks, when I stop in front of the door to Larry’s apartment. I’m wracked with nerves. It’s so bad I couldn’t even eat breakfast, much to the alpha's displeasure.

“Yes,” I nod. Harrison didn’t say he’d come with us, but when it was time to leave, he was right there with the guys as we climbed into the car. I’m glad, since he seems to be the one who levels out the other two.

They all sense my nerves, offering little touches of reassurance, but Harrison laces our fingers together. Might as well get this over with. I still have a key, but I knock anyway, just to avoid being a bitch. Larry, of course, takes forever to answer.

So long that I knock again. And again… River and Wes exchange a look, but don’t say anything while we wait. The moment the door swings open, I smell her. Another omega.

My hackles rise, but not because I’m jealous that Larry has another woman with him. It’s because I know he did this on purpose. The guilt I had been feeling over bringing Wes, Harrison, and River here to help me fades away the second Larry’s face comes into view.

“Hey Lila.” The grin he sends me could make milk curdle, and I wonder how the fuck I fell for his bullshit. His burning almond scent isn’t even pleasant, and I have the urge to gag as it hits me.

“Larry, right? Thanks for letting us grab our girl’s stuff, man. Cool of you to store it for her while she got settled with our pack,” Wes says, stepping in between Larry and me, blocking my view of him. My eyes go wide, and I glance up at a grinning Harrison, but he doesn’t meet my eyes.

“Did he just…?” I ask River instead, and the alpha just smirks.

“Imply that you left Larry for us? Yes. Or imply that Larry is a storage unit? Also, yes.” River nods, stepping into the apartment behind Wes.

“Your girl?” Larry asks, as Harrison pulls me in beside him. I keep my eyes on River, not wanting to look at this other omega or Larry.

“Yes,” is all Wes says, as he stops in the middle of the living room, crossing his arms over his chest. “Harrison and River will help you pack, Lila.” Wes nods, and I don’t wait around to find out what he’ll be doing in the meantime.

Once we’re in my old room, I release Harrison and start putting the packing boxes together. I don’t really have that much stuff still here, but I don’t want any of it here any longer.

“I still have some stuff in the bathroom too,” I tell the guys as I start pulling stuff out of the closet and stuffing it into the boxes.

“Show me,” River says.

I walk into the bathroom, open one of the drawers, and pull out some of my cosmetic bags. I always kept my stuff separate just to make it easier for me to keep everything clean. I have a few under the sink as well, so I open the doors and pull those out.

“It’s not a lot. I took the essentials with me when I left,” I say, carrying a handful of stuff to the bedroom. It smells in here, and I hate it. Like Larry, and that other omega. Gross. Well, he can keep the bedding I got us when I first moved in, that's for sure.

Not sure these alphas would have let me bring it with me, even if I wanted it. Not that I need it. Last night after dinner, I started unpacking my stuff in the room we spent my heat in. I felt like I needed some alone time after everything.

The bed in that room already had everything. It took forever to fall asleep, though. The bed felt big and empty. I thought about knocking on one of the guys' doors, but then I wasn’t sure they’d want me to.

By the time I passed the hell out, I was so anxious that I slept like shit.

Harrison and River bring the rest of the toiletries out of the bathroom and pack them into the boxes for me, and as we’re doing that, Wes joins us.

“Your ex is a fuck head,” he announces with a heavy, irritated sigh.

“What’d you tell him?” I ask, glancing out the open bedroom door, and catch a glimpse of Larry making out with his omega.

“I’ll tell you once we’re out of here,” he grumbles, helping Harrison fold up some of my clothes from the closet and neatly pack them into the boxes.

“There’s not much left,” I mumble, shaking my head at Larry’s unnecessary display, and River notices my annoyance. I shrug, heading into the bathroom to double-check I didn't miss anything.

“Does it bother you, seeing him with her like that?” River asks as he follows me into the bathroom and closes the door behind us.

“No.” I cross my arms over my chest, looking up at him as he approaches me in the small, and somewhat messy, space.

“It bothers me that he thought he could ambush me by having her here. It bothers me that he wanted to get a rise out of me. It bothers me that he thought he could make me jealous,” I huff, answering honestly.

“I don’t give a shit what Larry does with anyone.

It just pisses me off that he wanted to try and hurt me. ”

“Wes has forbidden me from breaking his nose,” River grunts. “But he said nothing about making him jealous.” River’s smirk is menacing as he pulls me into him and kisses me.

“What?” I ask, pulling away from the kiss.

“Shh, just trust me.”

“River…” I whisper, eyes wide as he tugs my belt open. I don’t reach out to stop him, though. I just let him undo the button and pull the zipper down. River pushes his fingers into my panties, circling my clit softly.

“I want to watch you come apart for me, Lila, in a way your ex could never dream of.” River spins me suddenly, and my hands land on the sink's edge as I stare at our reflections in the small mirror.

“We-we shouldn’t. He’ll scent me…”

“Good. Do you think he’ll fall apart when he scents how fucking hard you come for me, Lila?

” I press my ass back against him as his fingers push into me slowly.

“When he realizes another alpha made you scream for him, in his own home? The one he lost you in?” River sounds feral, and when he bites my neck, drawing a moan from my lips, my knees shake.

“Fuck, your mouth is filthier than Harrison’s,” I huff, as he pulls his fingers out and pushes back in slowly.

“I want to be filthy with your cum dripping from my lips, but licking my fingers for a taste will have to be enough, until I can spread you out and eat your cunt for hours,” River growls, pressing his palm against my clit as he fucks me with his fingers.

“I’m going to come,” I gasp, head falling forward as my eyes drift shut.

“Already? Fuck, Omega. You were neglected for so long. My pack can give you everything you need. Everything you’ve ever needed,” River growls, grinding his hard cock against my ass. Jesus, I think I’d let this man fuck me here if he asked.

“Not fair, I want to watch,” Harrison grumbles from the now open doorway that's connected to my bedroom. My eyes go wide because the bedroom door might still be open.

“They can’t see anything past Harrison and me, Lila.” Wes grins, watching my reflection in the mirror. My heart rate soars, and I shake against River, as my orgasm crashes through me hard and fast. His free hand clamps over my mouth to muffle the sounds I’m failing to contain.

“Let's get these boxes to the car,” Harrison says when I’m done moaning into River’s hand. “River can get our girl cleaned up and downstairs.”

I’m panting when the door shuts once more, and River pulls his hand free from my pants. I expect him to wash off in the sink, but instead he cleans his fingers off on the hand towel hanging on the rack. Just when I think they can’t surprise me any further…

“A goodbye gift,” River smirks, presses a kiss to the top of my head, and then helps me redo the button on my jeans.

“You three men are a little bit chaotic,” I say, still breathless.

“Come on, let's get the fuck out of this shithole.” River pulls me into his arms, and I follow him out the bathroom door and into the living room easily. I keep my head held high, but don’t look at Larry or his omega on the way out.

“That was the craziest thing I’ve ever done,” I admit, and River chuckles.

“Same. I’m glad it was with you, Lila.”

“Are you sure moving me into your apartment after one heat with me isn’t the craziest thing you’ve ever done?” I tease, but River shakes his head.

“No. That is the best thing I’ve ever done, Sweet Omega.” His words send shivers across my skin, and I snuggle closer into his side as we leave the complex and Larry behind.
