Chapter 8
Koa and Manny built a routine over the next few weeks.
Honestly, it wasn't even done intentionally. More like once Koa stopped trying to make himself work endless hours, he had time to embrace his new reality. Getting a proper work-life balance was critical and at the end of the day, he needed to be able to find peace.
Life was short. You only got one shot at it, and he had to grab it by both hands, which was why on one particular day, he decided to make his Daddy a surprise.
It was Tummy Tuesday, one of Koa's favorite days because he got to be extra Little with all of his friends.
The room that they held the gathering in was full of soft muted colors and fluffy blankets.
The floor was extra padded so no one would be hurt for being on the floor for too long.
They also had cots for anyone who couldn't get down low.
Koa wanted to use the time to let his Daddy take full control.
Manny had hinted more than once that he enjoyed the idea of being Koa's caregiver in all the ways.
And while Koa wasn't necessarily the type to want to be in diapers and drink from bottles 24/7, he could appreciate the ability to step back from his brain.
He was a chronic overthinker, a people pleaser to his core.
Being Little and trusting Manny to take care of everything would give him an escape.
So he spoke with Briar the day before and set aside a pack of goodies for his Daddy.
As for what he told Manny, he simply said, "Meet me in this room at this time.
" As someone who worked for the club, he knew Manny understood what that meant.
He hadn't been to Tummy Tuesdays with him yet, but it was a clear one plus one equals two situation.
When it came time for his Daddy to arrive, Koa sat beside the bag with his legs crossed and his hands clasped in his lap.
He didn't have to wait long because his Daddy was always punctual.
The man stepped inside the room, his gaze darting across the other littles gathered until he landed on Koa. Then a smile lit his face.
It warmed Koa's heart to know how much his Daddy cared for him, to see how happy his presence made the other man. It was easy whenever Manny took the steps to him for Koa to pull the letter out of the side of the bag and hold it out.
Manny gave him a curious look as he opened the folded piece of paper. Koa knew what he would see on the page.
Dear Daddy,
Today I'm going to be the littlest of littles. You get to have full control over everything that happens. I am your doll to play with.
Forever yours, Koa.
He knew that it was a bold statement to put the forever yours part.
They had only been together for a short while.
Koa had a feeling though that this was the start of his happily ever after.
That the pair were so perfectly suited that nothing could stand against them.
They were able to communicate. They were compatible in every aspect of their kinks.
And even when they disagreed, it was done with a careful consideration of the other person.
No yelling or screaming. No violence of any kind.
Simply two men learning to exist in each other's orbit.
Daddy folded the letter, placing it in his pocket as he dropped down to a squat in front of Koa. "Today you are my doll," he said. Koa smiled brightly, nodding quickly.
"Then as my doll, I want to get you all dressed up. Is this bag for me?" Koa dipped his head again, grabbing the sides and pulling it in front of him. His Daddy eased down until he was kneeling, taking the weight off of his body.
He unzipped the diaper bag and dug around inside.
He hummed as he worked, clearly taking in everything for what it was.
When he finished, he looked up at Koa and there was so much love and adoration there that Koa's breath caught in his chest. Daddy pulled out a diaper, a onesie, some baby powder, and a pacifier.
Koa was excited to see each item. He felt like it was his Daddy truly revealing himself more in that moment.
And like he said, Koa didn't mind being Little, Little from time to time.
When Daddy began to look around for a place to lay Koa out for his diaper change, Koa tapped his hand quickly and pointed back in the bag.
His Daddy went back in but came out with that same look of confusion.
Koa rolled his eyes teasingly. Not poking fun at his Daddy but somewhat finding the situation hilarious.
He reached in himself, pulling the folded mat out and placing it in his Daddy's hand.
Understanding dawned in Manny's eyes. He unfolded the large plastic liner and laid it out beside him.
"Up you go, sweetheart." Koa grinned, crawling into position.
While the idea of his Daddy lifting him and placing him where he wanted sounded delightful, Koa also understood that maybe that would take more time.
His Daddy needed to see that he trusted him completely, that this wasn't a fluke and Koa could be as Little as the next person.
Once he was on his back, Daddy tugged at his pants.
He went to pull them down and paused, looking around the space at the other littles.
"Will it bother you if I put your diaper on in here?" he asked, his voice soft.
Koa shook his head. Nudity wasn't a big deal for him. It wasn’t like he walked around naked all the time.
He just didn't find it to be the awkward thing others did.
His human body was beautiful and deserved to be treated as such.
Plus, you didn't function in a club like this and not see people naked.
There were some littles who enjoyed pain, who enjoyed being stripped bare and flogged, who wanted to be put on a leash and made to do their Daddy's bidding.
In those instances, there was no avoiding it, which was why Koa had long since given up caring about his own nakedness.
"You sure?" Manny asked once more. Koa sighed and reached down to tug at his own waistband, only to have Manny's hand come up and stop him. Their eyes met and he could see that Manny was finally getting the hints he was trying to give him.
"I'm sorry if this is frustrating, sweetheart. I only want to be sure before I do anything that could change us. I care about you deeply and your comfort is always going to be my priority."
Koa swelled a bit at that. How could he be frustrated with a man who was so endearing?
Someone who saw him and didn't just assume he was okay with things.
Other Daddies had taken him for granted.
They believed because he ran Club Delight that he would do anything and everything.
And while it was true he gave a lot of himself when he trusted someone, that wasn't his blanket permission to just be an asshole.
The pair stared at each other for a long moment before Manny gave a quick nod, as if he had settled into the truth Koa had been trying to tell him.
"Let's get you changed then."
Koa laid back down, spreading his arms wide and waiting.
Daddy no longer held back. He eased Koa's pants and underwear off, keeping his bottom firmly on the plastic coating.
Then he went about powdering Koa and easing the diaper under his bottom.
Once he was able to snap the sides closed, he admired his work, running a hand over the front of it.
Koa nearly whimpered. The touch was erotic, but it was also not.
It was gentle and comforting in a way he didn't expect to feel.
Any other time he had regressed this Little — which, to be honest, was only one or two different instances when he was alone or with other littles he felt safe enough to be that way with — he didn't get this euphoria.
Maybe he could do this more. Maybe it wasn't him stepping outside of his own desires to give his Daddy something he wanted.
Maybe it was something Koa wanted too. He just hadn't had the right person to be with.
The thoughts ran through his mind one after the other as his Daddy went about changing his shirt.
There was some finagling to get his arms through and his head tucked in, but once the onesie was down and over him, he felt as soft as a cloud.
The paisley-covered fabric was made for adult littles.
Daddy snapped the buttons between Koa's legs, then put his hands under Koa's arms to lift him up into a seated position.
Koa smiled because his Daddy was getting the hang of this. He was seeing that Koa was as pliable as needed to let him lead. And that was a gift, one for both of them.
Once Koa was upright, his Daddy reached back in the bag and came out with a brush and some hair accessories.
"I'm going to put your hair up and out of the way so that you're able to play and roll around how you want, sweetheart.
" Koa gave a gentle nod. He would do whatever Manny wanted, and he could admit his hair was troublesome.
After that first time his Daddy had brushed it, Koa admitted to him that he had a thing for people who played with his hair.
It was something that used to get him in trouble when he was younger.
He would leave home with his hair neat and return with it a tangled mess, because he would sit and let other children play with the strands, braiding it and twisting it, pinning it all kinds of ways.
The older he got, the less of a problem it was because the girls were older and wiser.
Instead, he would come home with these elaborate designs of braids and sometimes even temporary spray dye mixed in.
His parents at the time just laughed it off because what could you do?
There was no fighting him on it, just like you couldn't convince him to cut it off.
Koa's hair was a big part of him and his Daddy understood that. He nurtured it.
Koa closed his eyes, letting the happiness of the day wash over him. It was perfect. Everything about it. His Daddy was there. He was with his friends. He got to regress and not worry about a thing. He'd found a happy medium on his work-life balance, and the future seemed bright.
