Chapter Eighteen Lash #2
With the way this is starting I’m afraid that we are going to have a long day today. Normally talking business takes over an hour. We have so much to go over today like why we have four extra men in church today.
“I like Guardian.” Comes from Dragon.
“That’s a good one, I think along those lines I like Sentinel.” Thorn says.
“I think we should stick with our family and go with Storm.” Says Hurricane.
“Pfft of course you’d say that Hurricane, I really like Knight.” Rage says next.
The brothers around us argue for a couple of minutes before Terror tells them that’s about enough. Declan is just watching and observing everything and taking everything in.
“So we’ve got four strong ones and we can go around and vote for them, Guardian, Sentinel, Storm or Knight. I think I’m going to go with Sentinel.” Terror says.
He looks to me, “Sentinel”
“Storm.” Hurricane says.
“Sentinel” votes Thorn.
“Knight.” Votes Rage.
“Guardian.” Says Doc.
“Guardian.” Says Wizard.
“Knight.” votes Venom.
“Sentinel.” votes Whip.
“Knight.” votes Viper.
Terror looks at the other four in the room, “What about you brothers?”
Twister and Dragon both said “Sentinel.”
Texas said “Guardian.”
Fist said “Knight.”
“Alright so that’s four for Knight, three for Guardian, one for Storm, sorry Hurricane, and six for Sentinel. Sentinel it is. Welcome to the club, Sentinel.” He pats Declan on the back as we all knock our fists on the table. Declan perks up and looks like he won the lotto.
“Here’s to Sentinel.”
We all chanted, “Chaos! Chaos!”
“Alright now that we have Sentinel all set up with his roadname, our future VP is here because he wants to sit in and be close to his brothers right now. So we are going to continue with church as normal.
Sentinel says he understands club business stays club business and he is strong and knows that he might hear some things and he is alright with it. Any objections to Sentinel being a part of church?”
A round of nos came from around the table and Terror continued.
“Great, so for those of you who were wondering about our four additions, I have been doing some thinking about everything we have going on and I would love to add additional council members. I know it is not something heard of,
but I think it would be beneficial for us with everything going on to have more SAAs and Road Captains. I’ve picked four so two extra SAAs and two extra Road Captains. Not saying the boys we have can’t get it done,
just figured more boys at the table and to help with everything we’ve got going on will help. So I wanted to put it to a vote.”
He went around the table and we all said yes to the vote.
There has been so much shit going on having extra brothers for votes and extra brothers on council will help when some council brothers can’t make it.
It is sound thinking. Honestly I know we can give our vote proxy to someone else and that’s always worked but giving more titles out will help a lot too.
I know that the other patched brothers know these men earned the titles even if they are related to the president.
“Alright Dragon and Fist you guys will be our two new SAAs with Thorn. Twister and Texas are our two new Road Captains. Congrats brothers. We will get your patches ordered along with our patch for Sentinel here. Now Wiz, what do you have on the tech side of everything? Have we found any leads?”
“So we still need to…..” he looks at Declan, clears his throat, “interview our guests we have in the cabin.
From what we found on Lips’s phone and laptop she’s been communicating with a woman named Margie and also Acid.
We are assuming from all the crazy she said to Lash that she is Acid’s daughter.
The text definitely leans that way. He has tried to get in touch with her several times, I’ve responded.
However, a lot of it says to meet at their usual meeting place.
So I’ve been trying to track her movements for the past 9 months.
Trying to see where she has been and who she has met with.
Our friends in law enforcement are trying to help see if there is any way they can find anything for us.
So far nothing. It appears from the messages that were sent out that she was sent here to see what information she could get on club brothers and the women of the club.
She had a special interest in Sophie seeing as she felt like Lash was her soulmate.
She also did have communication with the receptionist at the daycare that Dash and Dallas were at.
The receptionist that worked at the tattoo parlor.
Sophie seems to be right on several instances about some of the moles we have or had within the club.
I’m sure there are more that Acid planted that didn’t have communication with Lips, but that we won’t know til we find more information.
Brothers have all checked out, the prospects we have are born into the club and have club loyalty, we’ve known them their whole lives.
I still did look into everything on prospects and all club brothers, everything in that aspect has panned out.
So I think our best bet is to look at employees, club girls and anyone hanging out with the ol’ ladies.
They seem to try and go for the areas that are our weaknesses. Our families, our women and children.”
He goes on to tell us what he has found and hasn’t found about everything, censoring some of it for Declan.
Yes he is sitting in on church, we do have a code going on to avoid going into too much detail that he gets things that are really just meant for adults.
Like the fact that we have yet to torture those fuckers to get information from them.
My phone buzzes as he continues to go through everything and I look down and see it is from Bulldog.
Bulldog: Everything is the same here. I know you have church so don’t worry about anything.
She's still out. They said that the bleeding hasn’t gone down or gotten worse so they are still keeping her on the medication.
She’s stable. I asked them about moving her to another hospital closer to her family, they told me we still need to wait because she’s not ready to be moved.
I don’t reply, but stare at the message.
It hasn’t even been a week yet, but I’m having a hard time looking at the positives.
With my heart and soul unable to talk to me about anything.
Not being able to see those beautiful blue eyes or hear her voice, I’m struggling.
The kids are wondering why their mama won’t wake up and are worried about what happened to their MiMi happening to their mama.
As time goes on it’s getting harder to keep spirits high.
They are going to be starting their studies with my mom in two weeks, so hopefully they will have some things to take their minds off everything.
“Alright, let’s move on to businesses. I will take some men to the cabin later to do some talking with our guests. Hopefully, get some more answers. I’m going to put a call into the Sirens to see if we can get some help with Lips. She needs a new friend I think. Someone she can talk with.
Let’s go through where we are with the businesses and what we are trying to expand.”
With that we move forward to the businesses, I know they are trying to keep everything light due to Deck being in the room and it is much appreciated. I am trying really hard to let the men handle everything until we get our answers and then those assholes are mine.
