“So then why do you want us to save said family that they are holding captive?”
“I have a woman and kids. That’s who he has. I got my high school girlfriend pregnant. We’ve really only been people who fuck for awhile because well we just are not compatible. I felt responsible for her, being the mother of my kids. But she wanted to keep away from the club. I respected that.
I don’t know how he found out about them, but he’s been using them to keep me in line. He did that with a lot of the other brothers. Most of the council members did not need the motivation, but a couple of us did. I had been wanting to leave for awhile, my buddy he did too.
Some of the brothers that had been there against their will are now dead or from what I heard Chaos found them and captured them.”
“How do you know your family is still alive?”
“He would let me talk to them once a week for verification. I don’t know where he’s hiding them, but I’m sure some of you can track them and find out for me. Like I said the phone I had on me, he would call regularly to check in. He would talk about finding new recruits, never saying how.
Told me he also has been discussing more men coming in on everything with the Baranovs. I don’t know all that is planned and frankly I don’t want to know. But I am hoping that you should be able to track him and my family with that phone.
I have heard everything about you guys and how you have some of the best tracking abilities and technologies, that is why there is not a lot of information about the assassins in this group except for what is on the dark web.”
“So when did you decide you wanted to leave the club? Just when it involved trafficking, kidnapping, murdering and raping women?”
“No, I wanted to leave shortly after I figured out all the fucked up shit Acid was doing. Well word must have gotten out that I was looking to leave and maybe find another club because the next thing I know my family was taken. I know it sounds far-fetched, but I’m telling you the truth.
I may have had a fucked up upbringing, but I’d never want that to happen to anyone. Acid is delusional, but he’s got people behind him that are helping continue with the thought that he had something taken from him. He’s always talking about how he should be running the biggest club in the country.
That his father wanted him, but that woman he married was threatening him. That he had to make those kids the future of the club or she would take them all away from him. I don’t know, he had a lot of stories that got a bunch of angry crazed men to believe everything he said.
I know you guys have taken out a bunch of them, but he still has plenty of backing.”
“How did you know the stories were made up? Or why did you think they were made up?” Thorn asks.
“Listen, I’ve met his mother. She is a whore now and I am assuming she was a whore then. Everyone knows what those clubwhores are like. I’ve also heard stories about your club. About your grandfather and his wife, there is no way that man was forced to do anything.
There is also no way that after he met his wife did he step out. I also know he was a big family man, there is no way that he would, if he knew, abandon any of his children because a woman told him to.”
“That’s a lot of assumptions based on things you heard and then to not believe the stories your president has said.”
“Like I said, I am not one of the crazy ones. I may have been stuck in this club with all these maniacs, but unlike some I do have some common sense. I would have been somewhere else if I could be. I love the brotherhood,
but this one was so corrupt and started by a man who never cared about anything other than getting more power.”
I look around the room at my brothers and the Sirens present and we all seem to believe what this man is saying.
Sophie is still in my arms with her head in the crook of my neck.
Sophie is a tough woman, but she knows that she can be weak with me.
That she can let her guard down and this past year has really been a struggle that has made it where she has felt like she needed to be her own anchor because we failed her.
I know we have a long way to go to get to a place where she can trust us completely again.
We continue to listen to Anchor and Thorn interrogate the guy in the chair.
They soon leave the room, leaving him alive and come into the room we are sitting in.
“So what’s the verdict? He gave us the information and the access to his phone that we can use to track the numbers on it.
Do we believe that he had no part in anything with Missy or the twins' abduction.
I mean obviously he knew about it, but do we believe he is as innocent as he is claiming.
I mean he basically told us we could kill him instantly, like he knows that is going to be his fate, he just wants his family to be okay.”
“I mean I can do more of a deep dive into his life now, more than we did before. Get information to see if we can verify some of it and verify the wife and kids. But honestly, I believe him. He knows the situation he is in, why is he going to lie to protect anyone now.” Nyx says.
“I agree. Is there anything else you need from our club right now? Can you keep us updated on everything?” Terror asks.
“We will keep you updated on everything we find, plus Sophie here will probably be doing her own deep dive. She has definitely become a part of the team even if you don’t want her to. She has our protection. We’ve been working with her since Dash and Dallas were taken.” Alessia says.
I snap my head up and look at Alessia and then glance over at my wife, she can’t meet my eyes. She has been keeping secrets a lot longer than I thought she was.
“You were not doing physical training while you were pregnant with the boys were you?” I ask Sophie.
She looked at me shocked that my reaction was not as big as she thought it would be and she answered, “Of course not. I waited til after I was recovering to start that. The other training was done while I was pregnant.”
I nod my head and look at Terror and he gives me a nod. With that nod I head over to Sophie and grab her to head out of the building. As we exit the building I walk her over to her SUV and open the door for her.
“Toby, stop it. I want to help Nyx out! I want to do more!”
“You can help from home, seems that is what you have been doing for months now. We are going home and you are going to be taking a test because I want to know if what I think is going on with you is actually what is going on. Your family is going to think we are crazy, fuck I think we are crazy,
but I’m not going to stop putting babies in your belly. Then once we get those results, I’m going to fuck you and fuck you hard. I’m going to punish you for hiding this shit from me for months.
Especially since we are in counseling working through our shit and I’ve changed our club rules so that you can be informed about shit that is important for you to know. I hate that we are in this place, baby.
I know it is our fault and I know that the club did this and made this gap in our relationship, but you’ve never hidden anything from me. I hate this. So after I fuck you, you are going to tell me everything you’ve been up to in all these months.
Then we are going to get you together with Wiz and see if you two can maybe work together. I am fine with you helping the Sirens here at their base, baby. But what I don’t want is for you to go out in the field. You’re a mama, a wife, a daughter and a sister. We need you.
Plus you are kinda the head lady at the club right now til Terror here gets his shit together and claims an ol’ lady. You are the big man on campus. But I think being here at the Siren’s base and helping we can talk about that more and what that would look like.
I want to do whatever I can to help you feel more like you again. I want you to get all of you back, I love you and never want you to feel like you are weak. You are the strongest person I know.”
She chuckles and nods her head. “Okay, fine. I will meet you with that compromise. I swear though if you did knock me up before the twins are even one that is some crazy shit. It is like you didn’t even wait to make sure I was all healed up,
especially since it’s only been months since they were born.”
I bend down and kiss her lips. “Get in the truck baby.”
She turns and I smack her ass before she gets in the driver's seat. She turns her head and playfully glares at me. After she starts the car the brothers are coming out of the warehouse and walking towards me.
“Damn Lash, we always knew Sophie was a handful, but she got herself all tangled with these crazy women. Don’t know what you are going to do with that.” All the brothers laugh at what Dragon said.
“Let’s get out of here. We’ve all got shit to do and people to get back to.” Terror says as he climbs on his bike.
I know that we have a way to go and there is still danger around the corner, but I know that with my love for my family and for my wife we can get through anything and everything.
Sophie is the love of my life and with her we can face all the obstacles that are in our way.
Our love is strong and although we have put it through a lot of tests this past year, it is still there burning hotter than ever.
