Eight #2

Her brows close in on the tops of her eyes.

“You said you knew his name.” My mom had showed me the images she took from my dad’s phone as evidence in case she needed it, and I’d told her he was someone I went to high school with.

My mom might have been here longer than me, but she doesn’t go to many of the same places Blake does.

She does, however, know his mom, but I don’t tell her that. She could still be wrong.

“Yeah. I do.” I clear my throat, quickly moving one leg in front of the other in the direction of my car.

“Where are you going?” she shouts behind me.

“To check up on something. I’ll be back by dinner time.”

“You aren’t going to see your dad, are you? I really wouldn’t worry about it, hun.” Her apron bunches between her fists as she continues. “He’s not worth it.”

Kicking dirt up with my dragging feet, I swing the door open, looking back at her. “I know, Mom. I promise you this has nothing to do with him. Karma will handle that in time. This is about something I meant to do earlier but forgot.”

“Okay, drive carefully.”

“I will.” Pressing my lips in a tight smile, I continue getting into the car and lift my phone to my face.

I read over my last message from Blake again, fuming on the inside.

I have to know for sure, and he admits so much when I have him where I want him.

Once he opens up to me in one way, he bares more and more, laying everything burning at him on inside on the table.

Blake: I haven’t washed every part of my skin off.

My fingers swipe across the screen, moving ahead of my brain, and within seconds I’m hitting send and driving to the old water tower where I used to go whenever I wanted to be far away from everything on the ground.

It hasn’t been removed yet, and is half hidden by a grouping of trees, with only one house close by that no one currently lives in.

I’m sharing my special place with him so whenever I go there I’ll be able to feel more above everyone else when I remember bending my bully over the railing and making him scream my name in ways he never has.

Thinking back to the message I sent him, I smile big, taking a sharp turn, and my lips spread wider when my phone vibrates.

Me: Prove it.

Blake: How?

Pulling over to the side of the road, I eye the high structure and write back.

Me: Meet me at the old water tower. You know where it is?

One . . . two . . . three . . . buzzzzz.

Blake: I know where it is. I’m kind of busy at the moment, though. Can I meet you there in two hours?

Me: It’s either now or not at all.

My skin feels tight as I wait for him to message me back. Those dots bounce, stop, and bounce again.

Blake: I can be there in ten minutes.

Me: Good boy.

No more texts come in and I exit the vehicle, leaning against the door as I enjoy the birds chirping around me. I forgot how peaceful and quiet it was out here. It won’t be that way for long. Not with the sounds I’m about to drag from that soon to be raw throat of his.

An engine roars behind me, tires scraping the gravel, and Blake parks beside me. He sits in the car, looking around and down at his phone before slowly exiting. With hesitant steps, he inches closer, and his feet halt when he’s standing directly in front of me.

I look down at my watch and then at him. “You’re five minutes late.”

“Yeah.” He blows out a breath, lowering his jacket sleeves over the palms of his hands. “I guess I wasn’t as close as I thought I was.”

“I didn’t interrupt anything too important, did I?”

“No. I was just leaving my dad’s office and was going to swing by a friend’s house to hang for a bit.”

“That’s a very short work day,” I muse.

“I got the day wrong and I’m not actually supposed to start until tomorrow. Everyone was thankful for the coffee, though.” He kicks his feet together, lowering his eyes.

Hooking my fingers under his chin, I lift his face, my gaze piercing his. There’s way more to the story than he’s letting on. I have a feeling I won’t have to ask again for him to tell me later. He’s holding on tight to that pride, but I can see it slipping in his demeanor.

“So, who was this friend you were going to see?”

“No one you know,” he says too quickly. “A date, you could say. You know, like the one you had earlier.”

I laugh, rolling my eyes. “I see. Why did you come here instead?”

“I don’t know.”

“I think you do.” I gently caress his soft skin. We glide too easily together and I can’t stop going in for longer strokes. The buzz between our skin has a part of me singing.

His Adam’s apple bobs. “Because . . . because I don’t know.” He takes a breath. “I really don’t. I came here to try and understand why I wanted to listen so much.”

“You like listening. That’s why. Everyone gives you too many options and you need a break from it. But that’s not all, is it?”

“Let me touch you.” He comes forward and I press a hand to his chest.

“Not today.”

“When? I don’t understand. Anyone else would let me. I mean, I don’t even have to ask. They just offer themselves willingly,” he presses. “You aren’t any more special than them. You’re not . . .”

“Anyone important? Someone who you would think is so far out of reach? This may have started because you saw me as convenient, but you come back because I’m not. Because I can make the weight less heavy for you.”

“Don’t think you know me.” He steps back. “You don’t. I know you, though, pig boy. Fucking bottom feeder.”

My skin heats and I wrap my fingers around his neck, slamming his back against his car.

“You don’t deserve to be used in my special spot today.

Not sure you ever did, or will. But you can earn it, and you’ll want to, because much like everyone else you hang with, you’re fucking predictable.

Yes, I know you Blake, but you don’t know a damn thing about me. ”

His muscles bulge underneath my hand and I loosen my grip. With my hand on his neck, his features shake. “If I was so predictable, I wouldn’t be here. I’d be at Hayden’s house getting fucked in his bed like I planned to after . . . after . . .”

I huff a laugh. “After what? Go ahead and finish that sentence for me, baby.”

His face contorts. “Don’t call me that.”

“My bad. How about little whore? My slutty hole?”

He goes slack against the door, his expression breaking. “Why am I here? I shouldn’t be here.”

“More importantly, why aren’t you at Hayden’s when he was easily going to give you what you think you want?” My fingers slide down his shirt, rubbing above his nipple.

Teeth clamped together, he hisses. “What I think I want?”

“Yes, because if it was truly what you wanted, you wouldn’t keep feeling like something’s missing afterward.”

“You keep talking like you know me.” He shoves at my chest, fists pounding harder the second time, and I hold his wrists together.

“Because I do.” I run my nose over his, breathing every part of his face in and smiling when his skin is salty under the swipe of my tongue.

“Now turn around so I can cover more of that pretty skin with my cum, and from now on, whichever places I mark will belong to me.

“ He whimpers when I lick the shell of his ear. “Do you understand?”

His head goes from the start of a shake to a nod as I shove my thumb between his lips.

“Good.” I back my hand away.

“You’re not going to say the rest?” A muscle ticks in his jaw.

“The rest of what?” I study him closer.

“You know, what you said in your message before I arrived here. Calling me good . . . a good . . .” His words trail off.

He can’t finish his sentence, unable to ask for what he wants because he struggles to admit all of it out loud. It’s not necessary with how transparent he is. “Not until I feel like it’s the right time to, and I’ll determine when that is so you don’t have to.”

I let him go, putting space between us and watching with predatory eyes as his chest dips.

His lips fold inward and he spins around.

I grab his hips, yanking him closer to where the hood is and pressing down on his back until his cheek is hitting the front of the car.

His throat makes a high-pitched sound when I press my jeans?covered cock over his ass.

I grab his arms when he tries to move his hands. “Stay where you are. These are my choices to make, remember? They will be every time we’re together.”

“Sorry,” he rasps. “What do I do now?”

“Nothing. Allow me. You’ve done enough on your own today. Let me take over for a bit. You’ll feel better after I do.”

His skin vibrates when I shove a hand up his shirt. Rubbing his back, I use my other fingers to undo his jeans. Once unbuttoned and unzipped, they slide down with little effort, right along with the silk panties he’s wearing. They’re a light pink, complementing his pale complexion.

Blake pushes his ass back and I move my hand away, earning me a whine. “I told you not to move. If you want to hear that magic word that comes after good, you’d do well to listen.”

“I won’t do it again.”

“Good.”

A tremor runs through him. His legs spread apart as I slide my fingers along the inside of his thighs, hovering closely to his balls.

Soft everywhere. My tongue pokes out of my mouth, wanting to feel it too.

Wanting what my hands are getting as I shove the tips of my fingers between his cheeks.

My thumb brushes over his dry entrance and I push at it more. His back arches and he moans.

“What if people were to drive by and see you right now? With your pants down and you offering your ass to me?”

He scratches at the hood and makes unintelligible sounds, writhing needily as I circle his wrinkled skin.

“So fucking slutty. What if Hayden showed up right now and saw us? What would he think? You think he’d hate you for choosing me over him?”

“I don’t know,” he says between heavy panting.
