ADELAIDE

I was done. The moment Vance started bossing me around I was fucking done.

Never. Stood. A. Chance.

Vance stood up, pulling out slowly, I had dried cum on my chest and cum was dripping out of my pussy. I was fucking done. That was intense and judging by the glazed look on his face, he was also done. I didn’t move and I was glad for the bigger bed when he landed next to me.

“Shower?” He asked quietly.

“Yeah. That’s probably a good idea.” I motioned down my body. “I can’t bring myself to move though. I’m thoroughly used and it is fucking great. Literally.” I laughed at my own pun.

Vance leaned over me, brushing my hair out of my face. “You are so beautiful, Addy. I can see why Tyson was so upset.”

“Why is that?” I should feel something, I’m not sure what but something when he mentions Tyson.

Maybe guilt? Or sadness? Shame? Nothing came up but fantastic memories of his pierced cock.

Then I started to imagine the two of them together and figured that was something they’d never do and quickly wiped away that thought.

“Are you fishing for compliments?” He cocked his head. Melting all over again. He was just as gorgeous as Tyson, just in a different way. Tyson was the beefy bodyguard type and Vance was the sleek model. And I was a potato compared to them.

“I’m genuinely curious about why the two of you are so attracted to me.

I’m a self described potato. I’m curvy and despite Tyson's description of me being small, I’m 5’7.

I have usually raggedy red hair that is all over the place unless I spend half an hour on it.

I’m terrible at putting on makeup. I had to watch YouTube tutorials as an adult to learn anything AND I run a women's empowerment media outlet. That’s so fucking sad.

” I slammed my mouth shut. Why the fuck was I trying to talk this gorgeous man out of spending more time with me? !

“I hear you.” He fully sat up now and pulled me up with him.

Suddenly I felt ridiculous, completely naked, covered in his cum.

I’m sure I looked like I got hit by a truck.

“But I don’t agree with a single word you said and I know Tyson would agree with me.

I can call him right now if you need more validation.

We’d never let you believe those words. Not for a minute. ”

That Irish goodbye was sounding pretty good, but we were at my house and that wasn’t an option. I managed to get out of his grasp and got up. Tears were stinging my eyes and that was unexpected. “Where are you going, Adelaide?” Vance used my whole name. Not a nickname and not Addy.

“I’m going to get a shower. Can you lock up on your way out?” I walked into the bathroom and closed the door. I didn’t hear anything, no footsteps, no fight.

The sound of my heart beating in my chest was louder than anything. I forced myself to look in the mirror and I didn’t feel like the goddess I was less than half an hour ago. I felt like I’d used him and that felt like shit.

Truthfully, I’d used myself. He was just a collateral at this point, just like Tyson. I used men to make myself feel good then felt bad instantly. The moment I quit getting showered in compliments I was done, my heart checked back in and I was thrown into self doubt.

I turned on the shower and stepped in, washing off any evidence that I was that person. That I was the person who was so self empowered.

I was a little girl again, hiding in my room while my father threw insults at my beautiful mother for being nice to someone.

Or for trying to better herself. She’d eat a salad and he’d either accuse her of cheating and trying to look better for someone else or he’d congratulate her on finally going on that diet he asked for. It was a lose lose.

Now the tears. They streamed down my face. Dammit I was so fucked up. This was the usual song and dance for me and it fucking sucked so bad.

“Addy?” The shower door slid open and Vance stood there, looking like a Greek god. “Jesus, are you okay?”

The sight he found I’m sure looked horrible. Not in a self deprecating way either. I was on the shower floor with my knees to my chest and makeup running down my face. “No. I’m not fucking okay. I’m a fucked up person and the fact that you stayed is…”

“Is what?” He leaned down and cupped my face in his hands.

I cleared my throat. “Is wrong.”

“Wrong?” His voice was soft and understanding.

“Yes. You shouldn’t be here. You should just go. Really. I’m not worth your time.”

“Adelaide, stand up.” His voice dropped. “Fucking now Adelaide. Do what I say.” The dom from before was back and I wanted to hand over control.

I braced myself on the wall and stood up slowly, looking down at my feet. “Adelaide, do not say anything else bad about yourself. That’s not me politely asking either. I fucking mean it.”

“Easier said than…” I was slammed against the shower wall by my throat. Not in a ‘I’m gonna kill you kind of way’, it was in a ‘listen to me way’.

“What the FUCK DID I JUST SAY.” His voice made me speechless.

“Do not say anything bad about myself.” I breathed out.

I saw his jaw flex, “I will not tolerate it.”

“Y-yes sir.”

We stared at each other for a moment before his lips crashed down on mine.

Waking up the next morning, I was hit with how sore I was. Vance was wrapped around me and I was sweating. He was so fucking warm. I freed my legs from the blanket and wiggled free. “Where are you going, Addy?” Of course he woke up right away.

“Breakfast.” I yelled behind me.

“You cannot hide in your own house.” He rolled over on his back and flexed his arms above his head in a stretch, then settled back onto my mountain of pillow.

“I know that Vance. Thanks. Next time we go to your house and I can take an Uber home before you wake up.” I stepped outside the door and two things hit me. I implied a ‘next time’ and let him in on my disappearing trick.

“I don’t fucking think so.” He started to climb out of bed and I squealed, then held my ground. This was my house after all.

“Ah ah.” I pointed to the floor, “You said, in this room you are in charge. I’m clearly in the hallway. My house, my rules out here.”

“And what are your rules Adelaide?” Full. Name. How could my own full name turn me on? This felt like a trick.

“My rules are, I don’t cook. Breakfast is being delivered in twenty minutes. Be there or be square.” I turned and headed down the hall.

Vance peeked his head out of the bedroom door. “For the record Adelaide…” I turned around and he was grinning. “You being in charge can be just as good as me being in charge.”

“Vance, all due respect. I spend all day bossing people around. The last thing I want to do is come home and do it.” I walked off to him laughing.

We sat on my couch, eating donuts and drinking coffee peacefully.

He was in one corner with his feet up on the table and I was in the other with my feet on his lap.

I still had that itch under my skin that this was wrong but I kept fighting it.

I heard a knock at the door and we both looked up.

“Did you order more food?” Vance sat my feet down and got up.

“Hold on…why are you answering my front door?”

“Because it’s the polite thing to do. Also, you look very comfy.” He answered me like this was the obvious answer.

“Well, thank you. I guess.” I sat back so that I could see the door.

The door slammed though and Vance whipped around. “Why are there reporters outside your house?”

The absolute terror that flooded over me was nauseating. I jumped up, closed the curtains and blinds around the first floor of the house. “Remember that Google search I recommended. You should have done that when I said to.”
