Chapter Sixteen #3
He found her center through the emerald mesh, where she had soaked through the delicate black thong he’d slid up her legs himself.
“Fuck,” he whispered in awe as his fingers pressed gently on her clit, rubbing in slow, maddening circles that made her hips jerk. “My needy little pussy is soaked.”
Lane bit her lip hard enough to taste blood as she tried to stifle the moan building in her throat. Her eyes stayed fixed on the stage, trapped in the spectacle of dominance and surrender playing out under the golden lights.
The Black Dahlia had drawn her submissives forward now, guiding them with the chains until they knelt at her feet.
Their foreheads nearly touching the floor as their bodies trembled with the effort of holding position.
She said something—Lane couldn’t hear the words over the pulse roaring in her ears—but she saw the woman’s mouth move, saw the plea shape itself in the air.
“Please.”
“Let us please you.”
Lennox’s fingers pressed harder, finding the rhythm that made Lane’s vision blur at the edges.
She was grinding against his hand now, unable to stop, the shamelessness of it adding another layer of heat.
She was in public. In a booth. Dressed in nothing but lingerie and desire, while a room full of strangers could watch her fall apart.
And then The Black Dahlia looked up.
Her gaze swept the room with the lazy confidence of a predator who knew every eye was already hers, but when she reached Lane’s booth, she stopped.
Locked on.
Held.
Lane went still except for the tremor running through her thighs and the continued pressure of Lennox’s fingers circling, but never quite giving her what she needed while refusing to stop offering it.
The distance between them collapsed—across the room, across the stage, across the invisible line between observer and observed.
The Black Dahlia smiled.
Then she winked.
It was a gift as well as a command and a recognition all at once, causing Lane’s orgasm to tear through her with such violence that she arched against Lennox’s chest. Her cry lost in the sudden swell of music from the speakers and her eyes never leaving the dark gleam of that lace mask even as her vision shattered.
She watched The Black Dahlia watch her fall apart.
And then—the tongue.
The Black Dahlia’s dark-painted lips parted, and she licked them slowly and deliberately.
She was tasting Lane’s undoing from across the room like she could claim it through sheer will.
The gesture was obscene and elegant. It made Lane’s aftershocks spike.
Her body jerked in Lennox’s lap as he held her through it.
He anchored her to keep her from floating away entirely.
“Good girl,” Lennox whispered against her ear. His voice had gone rough, frayed at the edges. “My nasty little slut. Cumming for her while I’m right here.”
Lane couldn’t speak. Her lungs were still remembering how to work.
Lennox wasn’t done.
He took her hand—the one that had been clutching his shoulder, nails probably leaving marks—and dragged it down between them—pressed her palm against the hard, thick length of him straining against emerald satin.
Lane’s fingers curled instinctively.
She looked up at him with eyes she tried to make innocent, tried to fill with the question she already knew the answer to.
“Where is that going?” she asked, voice wrecked, barely above a whisper.
Lennox’s eyes were black in the dim light, blown wide with the same hunger that was still vibrating through her own bones. He tapped two fingers against her drenched, oversensitive pussy, making her jolt, then leaned close enough that his lips brushed the shell of her ear.
“In here,” he whispered. “Later. When I’ve made you wait so long you’re begging for it. When you’re so empty you’ll take every inch and thank me for the stretch.”
Lane’s breath shuddered out of her.
Lennox sat back, adjusting her in his lap like she weighed nothing. Like he hadn’t just promised to ruin her in the most thorough way possible. His hand returned to her thigh, high enough to be a threat, casual enough to look like affection to anyone watching.
“Watch,” he murmured. “She’s not done.”
Lane forced her eyes back to the stage. Her body still humming and her panties soaked. At this point her mind was a scattered mess of endorphins and anticipation.
The Black Dahlia had released the chains.
Her submissives moved with the grace of practice.
They were climbing onto the throne with her and arranging themselves at her feet and between her legs.
The man pressed his mouth to her inner thigh while the woman—beautiful, soft, radiant in her submission—kissed the latex covering her hip, both of them worshipping with a hunger that looked like love.
When The Black Dahlia opened her legs and guided them where she wanted them, Lane felt Lennox’s hand flex against her thigh.
The performance became a communion.
They ate her with alternating patience and desperation—the man slow but thorough and the woman eager but messy. The Black Dahlia held their heads as her gloved fingers tangled in hair while her own head tipped back. The lace mask was still in place, but her mouth was open now, gasping, commanding.
“Good pets,” she said.
Her voice carried a rich darkness. “My good, greedy little pets.”
Lane felt the words in her own body. Felt them resonate with the part of her that was still floating in post-orgasmic bliss. The part that understood exactly what it meant to be praised while being used for pleasure.
The Black Dahlia’s hips lifted, grinding against their mouths, using them with the same elegance she wore her lingerie—like it was her birthright. The room held its breath. Lane held hers.
When she came, it was catastrophic.
A gush that soaked her submissives’ chins. A cry that broke like glass. Her body arching off the throne while they continued to lap at her, desperate for every drop of her pleasure.
She praised them through it. “ Such a fucking good boy and good girl. Mmmm, my perfect little toys.”
It may have seemed only sexual, but the love in her voice was unmistakable.
The tenderness in her dominance was so complete that Lane felt her eyes sting with unexpected emotion.
The lights dimmed as the aftershocks rippled through her as she petted their heads and whispered promises Lane couldn’t hear but understood anyway. Then—thunderous applause.
The curtain fell, and Lane realized she had been leaning forward, entranced.
Lennox had his hand wrapped around her waist to keep her from sliding off his lap entirely.
She turned to him, lips parted but words failing her.
Lennox looked at her like he was already inside her, like he had been patient long enough.
Lane blinked. The transition was jarring as reality shifted back into place.
“Tell me,” he said as they moved toward the exit, toward the promise of the suite and the hours ahead, “did you like watching her?”
Lane looked back at the closed curtain. The memory of chains and submission. The knowing wink that had undone her.
“Yes,” she admitted.
Lennox’s smile was sharp enough to cut. The Black Dahlia didn’t just perform. She commanded.
Lane had watched plenty of people own a stage before.
Nova could do it with a note. Khalil could do it with a pause between bars and a stare that made arenas forget they had seats.
Lane herself had touched enough microphones as Lavender Haze to know what it felt like when a room leaned in and gave a person its breath.
But Calla Black was different; she didn’t chase attention, she accepted it like tribute.
Every movement was precise. Every glance had purpose.
Every command she gave landed with quiet authority, wrapped in consent.
This was artistry and a kind of control Lane could feel in her bones.
There was nothing cheap about it. Nothing careless.
Nothing that made power feel like harm. Calla turned dominance into choreography, into ritual, into a language of trust so beautiful Lane forgot to be nervous watching it.
She had never been so enamored with a stranger.
Lennox’s lips brushed her ear. “You okay?”
Lane blinked, realizing she hadn’t moved in several minutes. “I think she just changed my blood type.”
His chest shook behind her. “That good?”
“That woman is a Goddess.”
He smiled like he’d known exactly what would happen, and because Lane was too stunned to punish him for being right, she only shook her head and looked back toward the stage where Calla had disappeared behind a velvet curtain.
A staff member approached their booth a few minutes later, dressed in black with a gold Provocateur pin gleaming near their collarbone.
“Mr. Jackson, Ms. Sanders,” they said with a polished smile. “You can come backstage now.”
Lane’s stomach flipped.
Lennox’s hand moved over her hip, grounding her without trapping her. “Ready?”
“No.”
He smiled.
“But yes,” she added.
“That’s my girl.”
The words slipped under her skin lovingly as a staff member returned their robes before leading them through a side corridor.
The hallway behind the main room felt quieter, more intimate.
The walls were painted a deep plum and lined with framed black-and-white photos of performers, poets, dancers, musicians, and artists who looked as if they had all left a piece of themselves in the building.
Low lights glowed along the floor. Somewhere behind another door, laughter spilled out.
Lane pulled her emerald robe tighter around herself, suddenly aware of the lingerie beneath it and the woman she was about to meet.
Lennox could feel her nerves kick in and reassured her.
He leaned down. “You look beautiful.”
“I’m not nervous.”
“I didn’t say you were.”
“Good.”
His smile touched her temple before his mouth did. “Noted.”
The staff member stopped in front of a door with a small gold plaque that read THE BLACK DAHLIA and knocked twice.
A voice from inside said, “Come in.”
