Chapter 17 #2

“Fuck off, Novak.” He chuckles. “So, tell me. Are you and Blake a thing now?”

“Yeah, we are.” I grin.

“Congrats. I’m going to guess Ellie doesn’t know?”

“Not yet. But I plan on telling the girls today.”

“Good. She would be hurt to find out last.”

Gearing up, we head out to the field.

I should have known practice wasn’t going to go well today. I’m not the only one noticing my lack of focus.

“Cooper,” Coach barks.

“Yes, Coach?” I jog over, heart racing from the drill we just did.

“Don’t think I don’t see you watching Blake in the bleachers, making googly eyes at him.”

“It’s goo-goo eyes, sir.” I snicker.

“Whatever.” He waves me off. “I don’t mind him here, but if he’s going to be a distraction, then he’s not going to be allowed back.”

“Won’t happen again.” I nod.

That promise proves hard to keep, but I do my best to keep my head on the task at hand and only look over to Blake when I’m stopping for a drink of water.

Something I do far more than I should and by the time I’m done with practice, I have to piss like a race horse.

After practice, we head to our own classes. I’m in a very good mood all day. In class, I feel proud of myself for understanding the material a lot faster than I used to.

Blake has been helping me get ahead in a few of my classes, just the basics, but it’s helped a lot.

By the time lunch rolls around, I’m grabbing my bag and rushing to the lunch hall.

Blake isn’t there yet, so I grab something for us both and head over to our usual table.

Once Blake started eating lunch with us, I stopped sitting at the football table and started sitting with the girls.

“I know you can eat a lot, but two lunches is a first for you, Coop.” Lexie snorts when I place the trays down and take a seat.

“They’re not both for me.” I laugh. “One’s for Blake. He’s on his way.”

“Isn’t that sweet of you.” Ellie grins.

“You know, you two have been awfully close lately.” Val eyes me suspiciously.

“You’re just noticing this now?” Lexie laughs.

“No,” Val grumbles. “I’m just pointing it out now.”

“Yeah, Cooper. You and my brother are practically joined at the hip. What's up with that?” Nina grins.

“Hey, sorry I’m late.” Blake appears at my side. “I had to talk to my professor.”

“Everything okay?” I ask, tilting my head back to look up at him.

“Oh, it’s fine. I kind of got in trouble.” A blush grows onto his cheeks.

“You? In trouble?” I gape at him. “What did you do?”

“I may have pointed out that something in his lesson was wrong. In front of the whole class.”

“Of course that's what you’d get in trouble for.” Nina snorts. “Sometimes you’re too smart for your own good.”

“I don’t think so.” I scoot my chair back and grab Blake around the waist, pulling him down into my lap. He comes willingly, but looks at me with wide, surprised eyes. I wrap my arms around him and rest my head on his shoulder. “I like how smart he is.”

Everyone at the table is openly staring at me.

“Okay, either this friendship has hit a whole new level or there’s something more going on,” Lexie says. “Please tell me I’m right.”

“Oh my god.” Nina’s eyes widen with glee. “Are you two dating?”

“I don’t know. Blake, are we dating?” I chuckle, looking up at Blake.

He blinks down at me and nods his head slowly, his cheeks flaming red now. Chuckling, I kiss both cheeks and the whole table erupts in squeals of joy.

“Oh my god. This is amazing. You two are so adorable!” Nina says. “I’m so happy for you. Why didn’t you tell me?!” She leans over and slaps her brother's arm.

“It’s new,” Blake defends himself.

“How long?” Ellie asks.

“I asked him to be mine on Halloween night.” I smile up at Blake. “Thank god he said yes. I’d probably have cried if not.”

“You would not,” Blake grumbles.

I snuggle in closer, tucking my face into his neck. I inhale and sigh happily, loving his scent. “I would have,” I whisper. “I happen to really like you, Blake. A whole hell of a lot.”

He melts into me and I smile into his neck.

“You two are so cute I want to puke.” Lexie groans.

“I’m so fucking happy!” Val squeals. “Okay, real question. Who’s the top and who’s the bottom?”

Blake just took a sip of juice as Val asks this question. The poor guy is taken by surprise and starts choking on it.

“You good?” I ask, rubbing his back.

“Yeah,” he rasps. “All good.”

“Val. What the hell?!” Lexie hisses. “You can’t just ask questions like that.”

“Why not?” Val asks. “We talk about sex all the time.”

“First of all, his sister is right there.” Lexie points to Nina.

“Yeah, I really don’t want to know about my brother's sex life.”

“There is no sex life,” Blake rushes to say.

“And two,” Lexie continues, “you always talk about your sex life. The rest of us don’t.”

“Wait,” Val says. “No sex life?” She pouts. “That’s no fun.”

“We just started dating, Val.” I chuckle.

“So?” She shrugs. “I’ve fucked guys before I started dating them. Gotta test out the product before you commit, you know?”

“I can’t even with this girl.” Lexie throws her hands up in defeat.

I’m smiling for the rest of lunch. This is my happy place, with all my favorite people. Thankfully, they lay off the personal questions and everything slides back into place.

“That went really well,” Blake says as I walk him to his next class.

“Of course it did. They’re our friends. I knew they would be happy for us. Were you worried?”

“A little bit,” he admits and I give his hand a squeeze. “I thought they might be mad I was taking you away from them.”

“They would never be upset with us being happy. And you're not taking me away, I’m right here. You have nothing to worry about.”

“I’m sorry,” he mumbles.

“For what?”

“I’m always overthinking everything. Always thinking I’m going to mess up, be too annoying, too needy, too much.”

Stopping, I turn to him and take his face into my hands. “You are never too much, Blake. You’re the perfect amount.”

“Why are you so amazing to me?” he whispers.

“I’m just doing what feels right.” I smile.

The rest of the day goes by fast. After the game review, I meet Blake at the library for tutoring.

“Stop it,” he grumbles.

“What?” I chuckle. “I’m not doing anything.”

“You’re staring at me when you should be doing your work.” He taps the textbook.

“But staring at you is more fun.” I bump his shoulder with mine. “Plus, I’d much rather be kissing you than studying.”

He turns to look at me, pushing his glasses up with this finger. Yes, something as simple as that has my dick wanting to say hello. When I said I’m obsessed with him, I meant it. Maybe this is unhealthy. Oh well, I'm not doing anything about it.

“How about this, if you finish your work, we can go somewhere just the two of us?” Blake looks away with embarrassment when he says it.

“See? This is why you’re the best tutor ever.”

“How so?”

“This type of motivation is peak.” I grin.

He smiles down at his book, shaking his head.

“Get to work.”

“Yes, sir,” I say playfully.

But I take his deal seriously. I listen and do the work, and before we know it, everything is done.

“Okay. I was a good boy. Can I have my prize now?” I ask Blake as I tuck my books into my bag.

“You are crazy,” he mutters, putting his own books away.

“For you? Always.”

He smiles up at me, it’s soft and so damn cute.

“Okay, yeah. Let’s go.”

Standing up, Blake heads towards the exit, but I grab his arm and pull him in the opposite direction.

“What are you doing? The exit is that way,” Blake grumbles as he’s forced to follow.

Saying nothing, I lead him towards the back of the library where they keep the old newspaper records. No one comes back here, not unless your intention is to hook up.

Checking to see no one is back here fucking, I push Blake up agaisnt the last bookshelf when I see the coast is clear.

“Couldn’t wait. I need my lips on you. Now.” I cup the back of his head and crash my lips into his.

He moans, making my cock thicken against my jeans. Blake drops his bag, so he can wrap his arms around my neck. He kisses me back just as eagerly.

My whole body lights up, every cell in my body burning up for this man. I can’t get enough, I’m crazy about him. Fuck, I want him so damn bad.

“Cooper,” he whimpers against my lips, making me groan as he rocks his thick cock against mine.

“I got you, baby,” I pant heavily, kissing him again. My lips move to his neck, sucking and kissing his throat. “Fuck. Blake.” I groan, gripping his ass as I grind our cocks together.

“I need you,” he whines. “Fuck.”

I pause, chest heaving, and look down at him. “What do you need?”

“You.” He licks his lips.

“You have to be more specific, baby. I’m not going to do anything without knowing how you feel about it.”

“This is new for me, and sure, I’m terrified of fucking it up, but you don’t have to handle me with kid gloves, Cooper. I want you. I want you so damn bad, in every way. You wouldn’t be pushing me to do anything I didn’t want, because I want it all. Every single thing.”

“Yeah?” I ask, licking my lips. “Like what?”

“I want your hands and mouth all over me,” he moans as he rubs his cock against mine again. “Your cock. I want your cock inside me. Fuck me, Cooper.”

My eyes widen and I let out a soft chuckle. “What have I created?”

He bites his lip. “What?” He blushes. “Don’t laugh at me!”

“I’m not laughing at you, baby, just taken by surprise, that's all. Are you sure?”

“Yes.” He nods eagerly.

“I’m not fucking you, Blake.” His face falls. “Let me finish. I’m not fucking you here. I want our first time together to be more than just a quick fuck in the library. I want to take my time with you. Make you feel good and treat you the way you deserve.”

His face softens and his eyes gleam with something that has my heart racing.

“Okay.” He nods, swallowing hard.

“But...” My eyes linger on his lips.

“But what?”

“I can do something else right now, if you want. You can say no.”

“Yes,” he rushes out.

“You don’t even know what it is.” I chuckle.

“Whatever it is, yes. Please,” he begs.
