Lethal for Pluma

Maribel disappears from his life when they are kids, yet he keeps every feather he finds because he once pressed one into her seven-year-old fist and called her Pluma, his little feather.

She comes back to Black Flag on bloody feet, with nineteen years between them, and stops on his president's step alive, terrified, and hunted by Los Muertos.

He sets out to teach her that his body can be safe, while Santo Vega watches their building, tracks their movements, and waits to reclaim what he counts as his.
