"husband?" She looked at him, He smiled, his heart melting at her insistent use of the term "husband."
"Yes, love?" he responded, his gaze filled with affection. She smiled, "You know My husband is so handsome?"
He chuckled, unable to resist her endearing compliment. It was as if her drunken state had removed all filters, allowing her true feelings to pour out uninhibited.
"Is he, now?" he teased, his eyes sparkling with amusement. She nodded, "He is always Handsome."
He couldn't help but smile at her straightforwardness. Her blunt honesty was a stark contrast to her usual reserved demeanor.
He leaned in slightly, his voice low and playful. "Just handsome? I thought I was unbelievably handsome."
She closed her eyes, "I feel cold," He quickly adjusted the car's heater, ensuring she was comfortable.
"Don't worry, love," he reassured her. "We'll be home soon, and I'll make sure you stay warm."
.........
He stopped the car in the lawn of their mansion and looked at her, she was deep asleep. He smiled and walked towards the other side of the car, he picked her up and walked inside.
Carrying her in his arms, he gently walked inside their home, taking care not to disturb her slumber. He carried her to their bedroom, gently laying her down on the bed.
He took a moment to look at her, her face relaxed and peaceful in her drunken sleep. Despite the situation being unusual, he couldn't help but find her adorable.
As he placed her on the bed she opened her eyes and smiled, "Husband," He couldn't help but smile back, the sound of her calling him "husband" again bringing a sense of warmth to his heart.
"Yes, love?" he replied, sitting down on the edge of the bed next to her. "Will you dance for me?"
His brows furrowed, caught off guard by her request. "Dance?" he repeated, his tone tinged with surprise.
She nodded, He chuckled softly, finding her insistence endearing. "You want me to dance for you?"
He considered her request for a moment, knowing it was an unusual request, but he couldn't say no. "Rather than dancing, Can I do something else?"
She shook her head and got up, "I will dance then," she walked towards the balcony and held the pillar, "I can do pole dance." He immediately held her, "No, no, no that's not pole baby, You will hurt yourself."
"Leave me, I will dance," she shouted, "baby you will wake the whole neighbourhood, Hear me out love, That's not a pole, that's a pillar."
She shook her head and tried to climb on the railing but he immediately picked her up on his shoulder and walked inside the room, he threw her on the bed softly, "Stay here love, You are like a small baby when you are drunk."
He sat down next to her on the bed, his expression a mix of amusement and concern. He couldn't help but find her clumsy attempts at dancing both endearing and worrisome.
"No more dancing, love," he scolded playfully, placing his hand on her thigh. "You're going to hurt yourself."
........
Kiara woke up in the morning and held her head, it was hurting badly. She got up and looked at herself, she was just in his shirt, she could hardly remember what happened yesterday.
"I changed your clothes," he entered the room as he saw her looking at her reflection in the mirror, "Here, have this hangover soup, it will help with the headache."
She sat on the couch, "What happened last night?" He settled down beside her, sipping his own coffee. "You don't remember?" he asked, a hint of amusement in his tone.
She shook her head as in no, "You were quite the talker last night," he teased, recalling her tipsy chatter. "You kept telling me I'm handsome."
She held her head, "That's not embarrassing, That's fact. did I do something more embarrassing?"
He chuckled and set his coffee mug on the table. "Well, you wanted me to dance for you and then you tried to pole dance on the balcony railing."
She face palmed herself, "I don't want to know, shut up." His smile widened at her reaction, finding it adorable how embarrassed she was.
"Oh, but it gets even better," he teased, enjoying seeing her squirm in embarrassment. "You also tried to climb the pillar because you said you knew how to pole dance."
She kept her hands on her ears, "I don't want to know."
He reached out and gently pulled her hands away from her ears, gently grasping her wrists and holding them in one of his hands. "But it's so entertaining," he smirked, his eyes twinkling with amusement. "You were quite the sight, love."
"Are you making fun of me?" She raised an eyebrow, trying to be serious but it was evident that she was embarrassed.
He shook his head, his expression softening. "No, not at all, love. I'm just enjoying seeing this side of you," he replied with a smile.
"You're normally composed," he continued, "but last night, you were different. You were unfiltered and unguarded, and I found it quite endearing."
She rolled her eyes and got up to walk away but he held her wrist pulling her back that made her lank on his lap, "Don't you have to go to the office?" She asked.
He wrapped his arms around her waist, holding her in place on his lap. "I took a day off," he replied, his voice slightly muffled as he nuzzled his face into her hair.
"Aren't you taking so many days off? You are not the same guy I married, who couldn't skip his office for even one day." She replied and snuggled her face in the crock of his neck.
He chuckled softly, his hand gently tracing circles on her back. "And you're not the same girl I married, who never used to drink or make requests like last night," he teased, enjoying the closeness.
"I won't talk to you if you keep reminding me about last night," she warned him.
He chuckled again, amused by her attempt to change the subject. "Oh, really? You won't talk to me?" he replied playfully, his fingers gently stroking her thigh.
"I am not talking to you," she tried to get up, He tightened his hold on her, preventing her from getting up. "Oh, no you don't," he scolded, his tone light but firm. "You won't be escaping this conversation that easily, love."
She stared at him, he smiled and pecked her cheeks, "I love you, wifey." She smiled and nodded, "I love you too, husband."
He chuckled at her change of heart and pulled her closer, enjoying the feeling of her body pressed against his. "You're easily bribed, you know that?" he teased, his lips brushing against her neck.
She nodded in agreement, "Only for you," He hummed in approval, his fingers tracing small circles on her thighs. "Good, because I plan on making good use of that information," he teased, his lips gently nipping at her ear.
