Chapter 27 Meeting the Hooker
When we got home everyone was home and doing their own thing. Logan was in the kitchen eating a snack when we walked in. He got excited when he saw the cookie bag but Ben said we couldn't eat our cookies til after dinner.
I could have sworn I saw Logan roll his eyes at Ben but I was unsure. "Kat I have your work you missed today. How about you go work on it." Logan pointed to the table. I went and looked at the pile.
"I am going to have to get on google classroom." I look over to Ben who nods.
"Grab your stuff and come to my office. I need to work on stuff too. You can use your laptop in there." Ben start to walk out waving me to follow him. We went to his office and I worked on my school work as he emailed people back.
I zipped through my math, science, english and health but I was stuck on my history essay. I huff and push my computer away.
"What's wrong Princess?" Ben ask looking up from his computer at me.
"This research paper makes no sense. He wants us to write it about the Battle of the Somme however he gave us the dates for the Battle of Tannenberg. So I have no clue what to do." I groan loudly showing my distress.
"It's okay. How bout I text Logan and see if your teacher said anything to him when he picked it up?" Ben says as he pulls his phone out. It wasn't long before Logan walks in and Ben tells him what's going on.
"I am not sure but I went to college with Lance so I can message him." Logan pulls out his phone shooting my teacher a text.
"Okay let's worry about it later then, Alisha is almost here and I am sure dinner is almost done. Kat will you go set the table?" Ben said shutting his computer and stood up.
I rolled my eyes and groaned getting up to go do it when I felt a sharp pain in my butt. I turned around to see who just gave me the assaulting slap to see Logan glaring at me. "Lose the attitude young lady." He growled.
"Yes sir, sorry." I mumbled and ran off to go set the table. As I grabbed the silverware and started to put it at the table Sam walked in and gave me a small smile.
"You okay peanut?" He said grabbing some silverware and helping me.
"Honestly no."
"What's wrong?"
"I am scarred."
"Of what?"
"Meeting this girlfriend of Ben's. I have gotten used to having you all to myself..... Okay okay I know that sounds kind of creepy but that's not how I mean it. It's just I like how things are. The last time I meet a 'girlfriend' I ended up hurt. What if she hates me? I can't live with her being around here and being mean. I just got used to not having to deal with someone being an asshole to me twenty four seven. I don't think I can go back to it."
"I am going to pretend I didn't hear that cuss word....." I jumped hearing Ben's voice from behind me. I tensed up looking at Sam scarred and then turned to see a not mad Ben. "Listen honey you and your brothers are my number one property. No one and I mean no one will get in the way of that. The eight of us are a package deal. Alisha knows that, and I couldn't imagine her being mean to you. However if anything and I mean anything goes wrong you can come to me. You're loved here and I hope one day you will grow to trust that." He held out his arms for me. "Come here." I felt tears pool my eyes so I ran into his arms burying my face into his chest. "I love you Kat and I will always protect you. I am so sorry I couldn't do it before." He squeezed me tight and I felt safe as if the past couldn't touch me again.
What will kat do when she is faced with the people she and her brother love. Will she be able to choose who she will be with. Or will she leave them all behind? She neve...
I don't know how long we stood there but the door bell ringing had us both pulling away.
"Well this is the big moment." Ben gave a sheepish smile as if he was hiding that he was nervous. But no way he could be right? "Okay Kat how about you and I go answer the door together. That way you can meet her first, deal?" I nod as he grabbed my hand. "Promise to give her a chance?" He asked looking down at me with his eye full of fear. You could tell that my big bad brother was just a snap from freaking out from the nerves building up.
"I can give her a chance." I said reassuring him but telling myself at the same time that I can do it.
Ben took a deep breath in and opened the door. "Hey babe." He smiled so big I thought for a second that he was having a stroke or something. He pulled her into a quick hug and kissed the side of her check. "Alisha this is Kat my little sister." Ben said once he turned back towards me revealing the skinny blonde women in the doorway. She had her hair in perfect curls and her face looked flawless with just the right amount of make up on to make it great but not too much. She bright blue eyes that could put the sky to shame and she was pretty much what every girl would want to look like.
"Kat it's so good to meet you. I have heard so much about you, I feel like I already know you." She stuck out her hand and smiled from ear to ear. "You just as cute as your pictures."
"It's nice to meet you too ma'am." I mustard up the best smile I could and shock her hand. I glance over at Ben who looked like he finally breathed out after holding it in.
"You don't have to call me ma'am. It kind of makes me feel like way old. You can call me Alisha."
I nod and Ben puts his hand on my shoulder. "Hey honey will you go grab all your other brothers?"
"Sure." I walk to the stairs and take a deep breath in and then yell. "DINNNNNNEEEERRRRRRR!" I could see Ben shaking his head disapprovingly but oh well.
"Holly shit your Alisha Morgan." Jere said as he came down the stairs with Wes hot on his heals.
"JEREMIAH PETER!" Ben scolded giving him the just you wait look causing Jere to freeze on the last step and take a big gulp of air. "Sorry Alisha, that is Jeremiah, behind him is Weston."
"She's the chick that plays in the new super hero movie isn't she?" Wes asked looking at Jere who just nodded. "Sweet!" He said as they walked into the dinning room with us following behind.
"Everyone this is Alisha my girl friend. Alisha that's Reuben, Bruce, Logan, and Sampson." Ben said as he walked her to her seat and pulled it out for her. Pointing to each person.
"It is a pleasure to meet you all." She smiled thanking Ben and sitting down. Everyone said something along the lines of nice to meet you and sat down. Except for Reuben and Bruce who went into the kitchen to get the food and sat it down on the table.
"So boys how was school?" Reuben asked giving Jere a pointed look.
"It was good." Sam said and the other two nodded on agreement, but Jere was looking off. Refusing to make eye contact with Ru.
I can tell that if there wasn't a guest here this conversation would be going much differently.
"So Alisha you play in that new super hero movie right?" Logan asked trying to clear the tension that we all felt.
"Yes that was my first major role. I have been in other things here and there but that was what put me on the map."
"Are you working on anything now?" Sam asked as he scooped up food with his fork.
"Yes it's a romance movie. My costar and I bump into each other at the park running and then again when we are both on dates, who end up ditching us at the bar. We fall in love and then get into a big fight and then make up and the rest is history."
"So a hallmark movie?" I chime in causing everyone's eyes to shift to me.
"Yes but a little more adult." She gives me a sheepish smile.
"Ooooo when does it come out and what is it called?" Wes bounced up and down in his seat like a toddler.
"Not anything you get to watch." Bruce who was sitting next to him said as he whacked him on the back of the head.
"Ow!" He whines rubbing the back of his head.
"So Kat I heard you are a cheerleader." Alisha turned towards me and I nod. "That's awesome I cheered all the way through college."
"Really? That's cool."
"Yeah I was a base though, Ben told me you're a flyer. I could never fly I was to scared for that."
"It's not that bad, unless they drop you." I shrug.
"I heard about that too. I am sorry that you had to go through it."
"Thanks but I think Logan went through worse that day." I giggle. "He was as white as a ghost."
Everyone joined in laughing. All but Logan. "Hey that was an awful day. You're lucky Ben won't let me make you quit."
"See he is a big ninny." I roll my eyes as everyone laughs.
"If you ever need help with anything I would be happy to pitch in."
"Can you do hair and makeup? Cause living in a house full of guys means the amour of people who can help me with that is a zero." My eyes lite up at the thought if having someone to help me. Maybe having her around wouldn't be so horrible.
"Oh yeah I can do both. I can teach you everything I know and if something happens and you need fancy fancy my stylist for work is one of my close friends. She can help us out!" Alisha smiled causing me to bounce with joy.
The rest of dinner went great and we all watched a movie in the theater afterwards. The awesome thing is I still got to be squished in between Ben and Ru. Alisha sat on Ben's other side and didn't seem to mind that he was holding me too. Half way through the movie I got uncomfy and moved to sit with Sam on the over size beanie bag. Once the movie was done Alisha said her goodbyes and promised me that we would have a spa day. She even said I could bring a few friends. Which Ben had to be a party pooper and said it would have to wait til I was ungrounded.
Ben went to walk her out and we all stood up stretching getting ready to head to bed.
"So Jeremiah would you like to tell me what really happened today at school?" Ru shoot daggers at him.
"I don't know what you're talking about." Jere shrugged but you can see worry in his eyes.
"Really?" Ru paused as if to give him one last chance. "Well Logan went to my room to grab so paper work and he saw the note from my sub telling me that you and some other boys refused to do your work and also told her that she was hot enough that you would tap that. You also said and I quote, 'fuck off oh wait no just fuck me' Sound about right?" As Reuben's face turned red Jere's face went pale white. "Get your behind in your room and I better find it with your nose in a corner or you will get more spankings then I have planned. Understood?"
Jere nodded and mumbled "Yes sir." Running out of the room and up the stairs. Well looks like I have someone to be grounded with.
"Okay off to bed with the rest of you, it's getting late." Bruce said opening the door to the movie room and pointing out. I was the first one to start moving, today was a lot and I was exhausted. So I quickly changed, brushed my teeth and washed my face, then climbing into bed.
"Hey Princess, ready for bed?" Ben knocked and then poked his head in my door. Once seeing me in bed he stepped all the way in and walked to my bed, sitting on the edge.
"Yes it's been a long day. Did you hear what Jere did?"
"No what happened nosey?" He pointed my nose causing me to giggle.
"You're being nosey too." I protested.
"It's my job to be nosy as your guardian."
I rolled my eyes and shock my head. "He said some pretty bad stuff to Ru's sub, that I for sure can't repeat."
"Well I am glad you know not to say it now we just have to work on you not rolling your eyes." Ben sighed and shock his head. "I will find out the major details from Reuben. For now you go to sleep." He kissed my forehead "Goodnight Kat, I love you."
"I love you to Ben." I said as he walked towards my door. As his hand grabbed the door knob I blurted out "I think I like her."
He sighed in relief and his shoulders relaxed. "I am glad, it means so much to know you like her. Now go to sleep little one, if you need me I will be in my room." And with that he shut my door and I heard his foot prints receding, down the hall.
