Chapter 17 #2
After we made it to the PJ, we boarded, and a nigga was out. I’d just had a show then went to handle a fuck nigga, so I was exhausted. I knew my mama wasn’t gon’ let me rest when I got to her crib, so I needed to get as much sleep as I could before then.
When we landed, my pops was there to get us.
I had whips at their crib, but he insisted since he hadn’t seen me in a minute, and because my mama had already met Diamond.
He hadn’t shut the fuck up about me letting her meet Ma first. They acted like me having a girl now was some life changing event.
He’d called me and congratulated me like I’d gotten my first job or some shit.
“Son,” he grinned when I descended the steps.
“What’s good, Pop?” I set Diamond’s suitcase down, dapped him up, then hugged him.
“I can’t call it. How was the flight?”
“Short,” I chuckled. “I was just gettin’ in my sleep good.”
“I hate when it’s like that.” He laughed lightly then glanced around me. “And who do we have here.”
I reached back and gently pulled Diamond forward.
“This my girl, Diamond and this is Baby Lord,” I tapped baby girl’s cheek.
Diamond nudged me while she smiled then said, “This is Keona, my niece. It’s a pleasure to meet you, Mr. Matthews.”
“Mr. Matthews?” he repeated. “That’s my older brother. Just call me James.”
“Nigga, you’d be Mr. Matthews before Proof’s ass.” I laughed.
“Mind your business, Makhai,” he replied then pulled Diamond into a hug. “It’s a pleasure meeting you, baby girl. I never thought I’d see the day my boy would be bringing a woman home.”
“So she a woman but I’m a boy.” I shook my head while I chuckled. “It be ya own people that switch up on you when you have company. Shit wild.”
“Get their bags and come on, boy.” He smirked then led Diamond and the baby to the car. Just like me, he didn’t let her open the door or carry the baby’s carrier once she’d strapped her in.
A nigga was an asshole ninety five percent of the time, but I knew how to treat a woman.
My pops made sure of it. My mama was spoiled as fuck because of the way me and my pops babied her ass.
She used to just pull up to the crib and come inside after grocery shopping, or shopping period.
It didn’t matter what either of us were doing, or if we weren’t there, she was calling telling us to come get the bags.
Her ass never drove. Hell, if she didn’t have to walk, I was sure she wouldn’t have to. My dad would carry her ass everywhere.
I loved their relationship, and for sure wanted what they had one day, but I wasn’t in a rush to find it as a young Lord. I knew when God was ready for me to find it, I was going to. I was just enjoying being a bachelor while I could... before.
Once we were all in the whip, we headed to my people’s crib.
Porsh’s ass was standing outside waiting when we pulled up like I knew she’d be.
Soon as I told her that I was bringing Diamond to Miller’s Pointe, she was on the phone with my mother making plans to bring her ass and drag Proof along with her.
She didn’t even bother speaking to me, she just rushed to the back, opening the door.
“Oh my God,” she gushed. “I have been dying to meet you two! Can I get her out?”
Diamond nodded while she gathered her purse then I let her out of the other side.
“She ‘bout to work the shit out ya nerves,” I whispered then kissed her ear.
“Move, Makhai,” she giggled, pushing me away.
With the baby in her arms, Porsh grabbed Diamond’s forearm and dragged her inside my parents’ house. I didn’t even rush behind them because there was no point. I wasn’t even gon’ exist to their asses for the next couple of days.
My pops grabbed their bags for me while I made my way around to the back so that I could smoke.
My mama hated for me to do the shit out front, claiming she didn’t want the residents to see me as if some of them didn’t burn.
Plus, their crib sat on so much land, niggas would need a telescope to see what the fuck I was doing.
When my pops first started to run for Mayor in MP, I copped them some land to build their house on.
I already hated that they were gone be over an hour away, I at least wanted them a little secluded.
I knew without a doubt that my pops could handle his own and would protect my mama’s life with his own, but I slept better at night knowing they weren’t easily accessible.
Proof ended up coming out to smoke with me after he’d met Diamond and the baby because he knew what I was on. He said that he could see why I locked her down because she was pretty as hell. I almost had to rough his old ass up.
We only stayed out long enough to smoke one blunt then headed inside because my mother had cooked enough food to feed the whole fucking town.
“No love for ya boy?” I walked up on my mother who currently had the baby in her arms.
“Don’t come over here, Makhai. I know what you’ve been out there doing, and I have the baby.”
“She be burnin’ with a nigga, Ma.”
“Do not lie, Makhai!” Diamond shrieked then laughed.
“I’m not paying him any attention, baby, trust me.” My mother shook her head. “Go change, Makhai. You know you’re not sitting at my table smelling like that,” she fussed. “You too, Johnny.”
“I was just out there talking to him, Marge.”
She gave him a knowing look. “I may have been born at night, but it damn sure wasn’t last night.”
We all laughed because she loved that line when she was calling someone on their bullshit.
I grabbed the bags that my pops had left by the steps and carried them up to the room before I took a quick shower and changed. I didn’t really have plans to do shit, but if Diamond decided that she wanted to, I’d get dressed to go out later.
When I got back downstairs, we all sat down for dinner.
The shit was smooth, and Diamond seemed happy.
She was engaging well with my family. I was happy as fuck about that.
I didn’t doubt that they’d get along or no shit, but it made me breathe a little easier because I meant the shit when I said she was gon’ be my first and only.
If the shit ain’t work out, then I was just gon’ be a player for life like my uncle, while stalking Dime.
Me, my pops, and Proof were stuck with cleaning the kitchen when we were all done eating because my mama and Porsh claimed to be entertaining our guests. Shit was wild because they were my guests, but we all knew better than to argue with Marge Matthews. A nigga wasn’t even trying to go that route.
“All done?” Diamond’s pretty ass smiled when I exited the kitchen. She looked comfortable as hell folded up on the couch.
I smirked, leaning down to kiss her. “Shit funny to you?”
“No, baby, I’m just asking.”
“Yeah, aight,” I pulled her up to take her place then tried bringing her down into my lap, but she wasn’t having it.
“We’re in your parents’ house, and they’re right there,” she whispered harshly but smiled. “Behave.”
“They know we be fuckin’.” I tried kissing her, but she dodged it.
“I hate you.”
“You tried to, but a nigga just too smooth, love.”
“I really did try to.” Her pretty ass face was all lit up as she smiled lovingly at me. I was just staring, trying to count them fuckin’ freckles, because I couldn’t help the shit. I could look at her ass all day every day.
“Aw, y’all are so freaking cute.” Porsh’s dramatic ass gushed. “I have to get a picture.”
“Chill, Lord.” I chuckled, holding up my hand because she’d really pulled her phone out.
“We have to document this. You have your first girlfriend.”
“What am I? Twelve, Lord? Relax.”
“Normal boys would have brought their first girlfriend home at twelve, but we know you’re special.”
“On Lord.” I agreed.
“Special needs,” she joked. “Gave my poor aunt a hard time your entire childhood.”
“Crazy as fuck, Lord.” I laughed. “I was the best child. They couldn’t have imagined having another one which is why I’m an only child. Ain’t that right, Mama?”
“That’s right, baby.”
I smirked at my cousin who rolled her eyes.
“You were hell on wheels, that’s why auntie didn’t have any more children. She said it was Uncle James’ genes.”
“What?” my pops frowned.
“Right, lil’ bruh, what’s that supposed to mean?” Proof asked.
“Nothing,” my mother laughed, waving us all off. “Porcia, stop being messy.”
My mama wasn’t trying to give the baby up, so I was able to talk Diamond into going out for a little after we all chilled.
Miller’s Pointe wasn’t as massive as C.F.
or A.C., but they still had some shit to do around there.
I just wanted to chill, listen to some music and vibe for a little, so I told her that we were gon’ go to this lil’ spot I knew out there.
We were, of course, unable to sneak out without my cousin, so she slid with us.
When we got to Crooked Cross, it had an aight crowd.
Shit wasn’t too packed, but it was far from empty too.
I parked my truck up front, then rounded to the passenger’s side to help them both out of the car.
They were already pretty lit when we entered, which caught me off guard a little, at least for Diamond.
I had never seen her drink shit, and she didn’t smoke.
“Ay,” I paused, wrapping my arm around her waist. “You good?”
She looked up at me over her shoulder and smiled.
“I’m fine, baby.”
“What Porcia give you?”
Her smile widened. “What are you talking about?”
“Bae,” I turned her in my arms, and gently held onto her chin as I studied her eyes. Her pupils were dilated, so her ass definitely had something. “What you take?”
She pulled away gently. “Porcia gave me a teeny piece of a gummy.”
She used her thumb and index finger to demonstrate how small the piece was. I knew the shit was cap because she was a lil’ zooted. I could tell.
“I’m gon’ fuck her up.” I shook my head.
“Nope,” she shook her head. “We’re about to have a good time,” she circled my neck with her arms and kissed me. “Going to have a good time.”
Smirking, I gripped her ass and kissed her again before I let her go. She was most definitely lit because she was just talking shit about being in my parents’ house, but I wasn’t gon’ complain because I fully intended to get some pussy no matter where we were.
We grabbed some drinks from the bar then posted up in a corner booth. Well, I did. Diamond and Porcia were up doing line dances and all that shit. When they summoned me over, I kindly turned them the fuck down. I was too much of a real nigga to be out on the dance floor cutting a mothafuckin’ rug.
A few of the patrons spotted me. Some of them approached and asked for autographs and pictures, and some of them fanned out from afar.
I fucked with smaller places like Miller’s Pointe because it wasn’t overwhelming.
I didn’t have to be on swivel, and I didn’t need security crowding me like I did in other places.
People knew how to look or speak and keep it moving.
The DJ switched the music flow up after a bit, turning on some R&B. Porcia and Diamond danced together for a little, while I enjoyed every second of the view of my girl moving her body like fucking water, then she eventually came to get me.
“Babe, come on,” she whined as she hugged me around the torso. “Do right.”
“Told you I don’t dance, love.”
“Not even for me?” she pouted.
“As cute as you are,” I smiled and kissed her. “Naw.”
“Ugh, you suck,” she stomped her little ass foot.
“Naw, you suck, and I can’t wait to put these jaws to work later.” I smirked then turned her around so that her back was to my front. “You dance.”
Stroke You Up by my brother had started to play, so she got right to it.
I gripped her waist as she moved her ass against my center, causing my dick to brick up.
I held onto her, impressed as fuck as she worked her body.
I hadn’t seen her ass dance before, but I figured she could do a little something after witnessing firsthand how she rode dick.
The liquor had started to kick in on me and my shit was stiffer than a board, so we needed to dip. We’d been there long enough in my opinion.
“Y’all were so tea!” Porcia said as we approached the table. “I recorded.”
She showed us the video and I asked her to send me the shit so that I could post it.
Diamond still didn’t want to put us on her shit because she was overwhelmed by all of the traffic her shit got when I was on her story or in her comments, but I didn’t give a fuck.
I was gon’ show her ass off every chance I got.
After posting the video and paying the tab, we dipped, running into some of the homies, Bear and Reiner, as well as their wives.
“Loco, damn nigga, no heads up you were going to be in town?” Bear asked. Me and my niggas dealt with Bear more than Reiner because he was the sheriff, but he was still cool.
“Naw, Lord, I’m in and out,” I admitted. “Just brought my girl out for a second.”
“Understood.” He replied, both of them tipping their hats at Diamond while their wives waved.
“I got a show in Crescent Falls in a few weeks. Y’all boys pop out.” I said, dapping each of them up.
“We’ll get up with you,” Reiner said.
We were gone after that. Diamond’s little ass was all over me in the whip.
I had to stop and remind her several times when she reached for my zipper that we weren’t alone.
Porcia was eating the shit up. I was low key tight that she was with us because had she not been, I would have given her everything she was asking for in the car.
As soon as we got back to the crib and ensured baby girl was good with my mama, we showered together and got shit popping. I didn’t know exactly what Porsh had given my girl, but I planned to thank her later for the night a nigga was about to have.
