Chapter 22 #2
“And Kabria. You bitches have to adopt me too.”
“The more, the merrier,” Destiny smiled.
We all clinked our glasses together before taking our shots.
After that we got up to go and get ready.
Makhai had two other bedrooms in his condo, so they filled those while I got ready in his room.
Even though I was going to him, I still snapped some pictures and sent them to him, then we headed out.
When I met everyone’s husband, they were all on brand for what I’d learned about them.
Safari’s was surely the more colorful one out of the gang.
Well, besides Loco, but they were all friendly, nonetheless, and took great care of me until we made it to the arena where Makhai was performing his last show of his tour.
It was packed out as expected. There was a security team waiting for our arrival that led us inside.
Makhai came over briefly to speak to everyone, then whisked me away to his private dressing room where we talked about my time with his sisters.
He tried to start something in there, but I had to turn him down and promise him we could fool around later because I didn’t want to mess up my fresh silk press, nor did I have a change of clothes.
He eventually let me go so I could enjoy all of the performances.
Kabria was ridiculous on the sidelines when Hulk was performing, and all the women as a whole went crazy when Breeze did his set.
I didn’t even know that Makhai had all of them coming out.
When I said something to him about it, he’d let me know that he wanted to go all out in his city for his last show.
When he went on the entire place went crazy, me included.
We all rapped along to every song, and I was a blushing mess when he performed an unreleased song, All In With You, that he’d proudly let the crowd know was about me.
He kept looking at the side of the stage where I was, and he even tried waving me over, but I declined.
There were way too many people there for me.
After the show, he went to the back to freshen up then meet with some of his fans.
He had me stay close by, so I made conversation with some of the other artists that had been there just to enjoy the show.
I was trying hard not to fangirl because even though I dated one of the biggest rappers at the time, I still wasn’t used to being in that space with all those celebrities.
“So, you’re her,” I heard someone say from behind me while I watched Makhai in his element.
When I glanced back, I saw three women approaching, the mahogany toned one in the middle scowling at me.
My brows furrowed at her demeanor. “Excuse me?”
“You’re Diamond? The new bitch Loco is fucking?”
The confusion on my face transformed into a full-blown frown.
“Excuse me, bitch?” I repeated in a snappy tone. “Who the fuck are you?”
“Oh, you know who I am, boo.” She folded her arms across her chest. “I’m sure you’ve been stalking my page since I wrote you. You’ve probably been losing sleep.”
The bitch from Pikz.
“Says the bitch that was up before the chickens writing me, asking where my nigga was, but I was the one losing sleep.” I rolled my eyes. “Please move around.”
Her little smug ass smile disappeared.
“Girl, he—”
“Oh, I forgot you’re a bird,” I said and chuckled lowly. “Move around means get the fuck out of my face,” I clarified. “In no form of reality am I going back and forth with a bitch that got fucked for sport. Beat it hoe before you find yourself on the losing end of an ass whooping.”
It appeared that her slow ass had begun to speak despite me telling her not to say shit else to me, but her words were drowned out by my man approaching, telling me how he’d been trying to get all of those people out of his face so he could get to me.
“Baby,” I simpered and blushed as he shamelessly groped me in front of all of everyone and the cameras.
“Hate that they set that shit up after the show,” he said and pulled back to look down at me. “You ready?”
I nodded. “We’re going to the club with your family?”
“Naw, you promised—”
“Makhai, shut up.” I giggled, stopping him from reminding me what I’d told him in his dressing room. “We have plenty of time for that.”
“I need all night with you,” he smirked then looked past me. I assumed the group of goofies was still there, so I glanced back too. “Fuck is y’all standing here listening to my fucking conversation for?”
“Really, Loco? You’re go—”
“Didn’t I tell you to beat it, bitch,” I snapped, cutting her off. “You two have nothing to discuss. Right baby?” I looked back at my man. “You’ve made this clear to her, correct?”
“Yeah, love,” he looked down at me briefly to answer then back to the dumb asses. “And I made it clear what would happen if I had to repeat myself to yo’ ass too, didn’t I, Lord?”
“Yes, Loco, but…”
“I’m done talking.” He cut her off, dropping his arms from around me only to retrieve my hand. “I’m all about action now. Come on, baby.”
I fell into his stride when he started to walk away, making sure to look back and smirk at the Hoe Harem as they continued to stare at us. I made a mental note to whoop her ass if she ever decided to approach me again.
“What did you tell her would happen if you had to repeat yourself?” I finally asked when we made it out back to his car.
“She gon’ see.”
“Are you going to set her on fire?” I asked as I eased into the front seat of his Ferrari.
He chuckled as he held on to the door. “What’s with you and me setting mothafuckas on fire, Lord?”
I leaned forward and whispered, “I looked up the murders you allegedly committed back home and one of them got set on fire.”
“I ain’t do that.” He smirked.
A smile tugged at my lips before spreading. “Liar.”
“Yo, you a lil’ off, Lord.” He laughed then pulled the door down before he rounded the front to get in on the driver’s side. “Quit believing the shit you see online.”
We headed to the club to enjoy our time with his family then back to his place where he was true to his word, keeping me up all night, fucking me over every inch of his condo.
