Chapter 31
CHAPTER
THIRTY-ONE
Payden
“Oh my god,” I moan as Logan slides in and out of me. I’ll never get enough of his big, fat, pierced dick, not to mention that tongue that just spent the better part of the night teasing the fuck out of my pussy. To say I’m glad we’re back in New Orleans is an understatement.
We grabbed some stuff from my apartment and went to Logan’s place with Dozer.
He’s been an angel the whole car ride back.
I was sad to say goodbye to Ivy, Chloe, and Becca, but I also have to get back to my life and figure out the next step.
I’ve also been thinking about seeing a counselor because my sleep has been erratic since the shooting.
I also wanted to attend the funerals of my colleagues, but obviously couldn’t because I was faking my own death.
The police will issue a retraction, which is a blessing and a curse.
Meanwhile, the cops got to Donnie before the MC could, so now they have to wait it out. I don’t even want to know.
We arrived back with half of Logan’s bar ripped apart. Brew has been overseeing most of the work in his absence, and honestly, I think it’ll be good for both of us to have a break from all of the shit going on and really concentrate on the bar.
I don’t want to think about work or what I’ll do. I’m still mourning the losses of all the people I knew, and I need to catch up with Molly.
I arch my back as Logan rolls his hips back and forth, in and out. “Just like that,” I whisper, my hands squeezing his ass, and what a mighty fine ass it is. “Don’t stop.”
“Since you were such a good girl earlier, I might even let you come again,” he mutters against my ear. He’s so sexy when he talks dirty.
“Yes,” I agree. “I’m almost there, oh… Logan… Hustle…” I squeeze his ass tighter, my orgasm crescendoing as waves of pleasure roll right through me as I grind up to meet his thrusts.
“Such a pretty little mouth for such a dirty girl,” he says, pinning my arms above my head.
I love his big body. Enjoying every single taut muscle and curve with my hands, and mouth, got us into this sex-marathon. I know Logan isn’t old, even though I’m always teasing him about being older than me, but he certainly has the stamina to keep up.
Then he really gives it to me, thrusting hard and fast as he reaches to one side and brings my leg up to his shoulder. Oh, my goodness.
He stares down at me. Pure, adulterated lust in his eyes as I get lost in how fucking sexy he is. And he’s mine.
All mine.
Logan is all I’ve ever wanted.
“I’ll bet you’re glad I picked you up that night,” I pant, his thrusts not letting up.
He falters for a second, then resumes. “No, baby, you’ve got it all wrong. You came into my bar. I’m the one who picked you up.”
“If I’m not mistaken, I asked you if you wanted to fuck.”
He fondles one breast, giving it a tug as I groan, his hand snaking up between my clavicle to grip my throat.
“Such dirty words. Here I was thinkin’ you were high falutin’, but you’re just a dirty little slut.”
I bite down on my lip. His words make me clench and he groans when he feels it.
“I’m your dirty little slut, let’s get that straight.”
“Only mine,” he all but growls. “Say it.”
“Yours.” I’m so close again, and when he grabs my other ankle and places it over his other shoulder. He really gives it to me, his balls slapping against my wet heat as I tip my head back and scream his name. I can’t hold on any longer, his massive, thick cock just hits all the right spots.
He stills, almost roaring as he unleashes reams of hot cum inside me, and I wipe away my hair that’s stuck to my forehead. “Holy fuck,” he mutters.
“That’s hot,” I pant. “So damn hot.”
He smirks, freeing both of my legs as he plants a chaste kiss on my lips. “You started it.”
I wrap my arms around his neck as he settles between my legs. “Can one blame me? Seriously?”
He shuts me up with his mouth and we kiss for a long time. My heart warms that I’m the only woman he’s kissed in a very long time. It makes me feel special. Like I mean something to him.
He loves me.
“Did you mean all of what you said in Mississippi?” I blurt out.
He cocks his head to one side. “Which part?”
“That I love you part.”
He rolls his eyes, a habit I swear to god he picked up from me. “You of all people should know I never say things I don’t mean, baby.”
Well, that is true. He is a man of few words.
“Well, I mean a lot happened. People say things when lives are at stake and things are risky. Adrenaline and all that?—”
He smirks. “You think I said I love you because of an adrenaline spike?”
It sounds ridiculous, even to me, but I plow on. “I just mean people can say stuff in the heat of the moment?—”
He places a finger over my mouth. “You know for a smart fuckin’ woman, you say some dumb shit sometimes.”
“Hey!” I slap his ass which only serves to make him grin harder.
“I told you I loved you because I meant every word. I don’t throw them around lightly, especially those three.”
I let out a breath I wasn’t even aware I was holding. I know this. I’m not a needy woman, and here I am wanting to make sure that this is real. That I didn’t just dream it. “I don’t either,” I tell him. “I love you, Logan Ernest Dawnson—even the grumpy parts of you.”
He bumps his hips, still inside me. “Do you have to keep usin’ my middle name?”
“Why? It’s a perfectly good middle name.” I try to keep a straight face. “It’s cute.”
“Don’t fuckin’ ‘cute’ me.” I squeal as he rolls us over, and I’m now on top. “Or I’ll spank that hot little ass until you can’t sit down.”
“Don’t threaten me with a good time.”
He chuckles, pulling me down until his arms are wrapped around me. “Go to sleep.”
“Like this?” I breathe.
“Yeah, just like this.”
“But you’re still in me.”
“I know. I like bein’ close to you.”
“Stalker much?”
His chest rumbles with more laughter, and I’m secretly quite pleased with myself that I brought this side out in him. I love that he’s sweet and endearing and open with me behind closed doors. I couldn’t ask for more. “Funny, you’re askin’ for it.”
“I need to sleep,” I say, yawning, my face pressed against his neck.
“And so you will, but I have to tell you now that I don’t accept your clothes bein’ on in the bedroom.”
I huff a laugh. “Oh, you don’t accept it?”
“No, and those Winnie the fuckin’ Pooh pajamas can go in the trash.”
“Hey, those cost good money! And they’re warm.”
“It’s New Orleans, it’s not even cold. I’ll keep you warm.”
“I get cold,” I remind him. “I need more than just cuddles.”
“You get cold because you’re cold blooded, princess.”
“Ha-ha, that would make me warm blooded, asshat.”
“Such a feisty thing. You know I’m countin’ all the times you sass me so I can deny you your next five orgasms.”
“Aren’t we the optimist!” I laugh, then add, “And that sounds needlessly cruel. You wouldn’t want Dozer’s new mommy to be deprived now, would you?”
He shifts and I pull back to look up at him. “What did you say?”
Uh, oh. Too soon?
I frown. “Uh, mommy? I mean, you’re not just my daddy?—”
“Fuck, baby.” He pulls me closer. “You bein’ Dozer’s mom… makes me hard.”
“Holy shit,” I mutter. “Don’t you dare. You just ravished my pussy, you don’t get another round until tomorrow.”
He pulls me back into his chest, sighing deeply. “I can’t help that I’m up twenty-four-seven when you’re around. You takin’ on the dog neither of us wanted does things to me.”
“He’s so perfect. I love that he’s gotten to the heart of both of us.”
“He really has. I was thinkin’ about tryin’ to get him a prosthetic leg,” he says out of nowhere.
“Oh, those are a thing!” I say, leaning up on my elbow to look at him. “I follow a few dogs on Instagram who have prosthetic legs.”
“He does okay, but his little legs are so short.”
“Do you love him, too?” I tease, walking two fingers up his torso. I love the hair smattered across his chest, it makes me want to lick him all over again.
“I guess I just swallowed the damn love bug whole,” he sighs. “Because yeah, I love him. Just don’t go tellin’ anyone.”
I zip up my lips and pretend to throw away the key. Out of nowhere, a big snore shatters the silence. We both burst out laughing. It feels good to laugh again, to let everything go.
Dozer’s bed is down on the floor, but Logan had some stairs delivered so he could make his way up to the bed easily.
“I love him, too,” I whisper. “Sometimes animals really do save us when we least expect it.”
He kisses my forehead. “Go to sleep, we’ve got a lot to do tomorrow.”
I kiss him, enjoying the warmth that envelops me. My wild heart beats all that much faster as I curl up once more, loving the feel of him and knowing that no matter what, I’m his ol’ lady, and he’s my ol’ man.
