Chapter 31 #2
“I’m sure you could, but leave the poor boys alone.” I closed the distance between us, resting my hands on his chest. “Win the game and this pussy is all yours.” I grinned. His sharp intake of breath was enough for me to know how I affected him.
“Change your shoes. We’re going home.” I hadn’t worked out if he was joking or being deadly serious.
“Good things come to those who wait, Ricci.” I sauntered away from him but didn’t get too far because his hands wrapped around my waist in less than a second.
“I think I’ve waited long enough, don’t you?” he asked, his dominance in full force.
“Alright. It all comes down to this final ball. You know the stakes. Give it your best shot.” I smiled as he picked up his ball, confidence oozing from him.
He strode past me with a determined look on his face. He hadn’t managed a strike all night, so I was feeling confident until the ball knocked down every pin on the lane.
Fuck.
“It looks like I win.” He declared with a triumphant grin spreading across his face.
“Hold your horses, pal. I still have my turn.” I took my ball and strutted towards the lane.
“Give it your best shot, wife.” He laughed.
“Oh, don’t you worry, I will.” I smiled smugly, releasing my ball as he stared intently at it, waiting for the inevitable. Just like that, I knocked down every single pin. “Looks like we both win,” I teased, flicking my hair over my shoulder. “We could go again to declare the real winner?”
Lorenzo glared, his gaze intensifying. “I’m good with sharing the win with you,” he agreed, inching closer to me. The air between us crackled with unspoken desire, the promise of what was next to come this evening hanging heavy.
“So, how’s this going to work?” I asked, a look of sheer amusement written all over his face.
“Well, I’ll allow you to decide what we do after we leave, and then once we get home, you’re mine.
Mine to do whatever the fuck I want with.
” He slipped his hand under my dress, cupping my pussy over my lingerie, letting out a groan.
“Do we have a deal?” he asked as he moved my panties to the side, sliding his finger inside me.
“Lorenzo,” I gasped. He was so forward, not giving a shit if anyone saw.
“I said, do we have a deal, wife?”
“Yes, fuck, yes we have a deal,” I whimpered as his thumb brushed my clit.
“Good girl. Now let’s get out of here. I’m too impatient to stay any longer.” He removed his finger from my pussy and brought it to his mouth, cleaning off my arousal. “Mmm, so fucking sweet.”
Rain threatened the sky as we stepped into the cool evening air. My efforts to hurry to the car were in vain as Lorenzo captured me the second the first droplet fell.
“Lorenzo! Stop!” I squealed, trying to make a quick getaway, but the more I struggled, the more his hold tightened.
“It’s only a little rain. What’s the harm?” As he finished his sentence, the heavens opened and rain poured down.
My dress turned into a second skin as the water soaked through the fabric. Lorenzo’s hair flopped down onto his forehead as the rainwater clung to each strand helplessly before running along his sharp, angular features.
“Kiss me,” I demanded, my mouth working before my brain processed the words. This man was destroying me in every single way. I went from someone who refused to let him destroy me to someone who craved it with every fibre of my being.
No words were needed. He responded in the way I needed him to as his mouth met mine.
I parted my lips as I moaned into his mouth.
The rain beat down against us whilst his hand tangled in my sodden hair.
“You have no idea what you’ve done to me, mi amore .
I don’t even recognise myself around you anymore,” he whispered against my lips before his tongue delved into my mouth, his body pressing me against the passenger door of the car.
Lorenzo palmed my breast over my dress, igniting a fierce, electric surge within me
“You don’t get to claim your prize yet. Not until I’ve claimed mine.” I smiled against his lips as he groaned with disappointment.
“Fair’s fair, you’re right.” He shimmied me to the side, allowing him to open the car door with ease.
“In you get, wife.” His genuine, heartwarming smile stopped me in my tracks as I continued to gaze up at him like a lovesick fool.
Fuck… Lovesick?! “You’ve got me for a lifetime, you know.
You don’t need to stare,” he joked as he brought me back down to earth.
“I wasn’t staring, just admiring.” I smirked as I slid gracefully into the car. The thought of ruining his seats didn’t occur to me as I settled into the leather.
“Same thing.” He closed the door and rounded the car, all while not letting the happiness disappear from his face.
Once he joined me inside, he twisted in his seat. His wet clothes crunched against the leather. I slipped off my heels and pulled my legs up beneath me. His eyes darted to my feet to make sure I hadn’t dug my heels into the material.
“So, my beautiful wife, where to?” He started the engine, and it roared into action.
“The drive-thru!” I squealed with happiness, but what really made me happy was watching his face twist with confusion.
“Are you high?” He asked, making me wonder if he had ever been to a drive-thru before. He didn’t strike me as the type, but I was. I loved it. The greasier the better.
“Only on life! Now, to the drive-thru, Ricci!” I clapped my hands together as he set off. I might have been mistaken, but I was almost sure he was trying to hide his excitement.
He jammed his foot down, driving out of the parking lot and towards the nearest fast food restaurant.
“Put the roof down!” I called out over the soft rock music he turned up full blast.
“I don’t think so. It’ll mess up my car.” He rolled his eyes so hard I feared he'd lose them in the back of his head, which only made me giggle at the thought.
“Not even for your wife? Please…” I pleaded playfully. “I’ll pay to have the car repaired, if necessary, just so you can quit being such a damn robot."
“A robot, huh? I’ll show you just how much of a robot I am.” He cast a glance in my direction.
The roof suddenly retracted. The rain whipped against my skin while we sped along the silent road.
I flung my hands up over my head and danced in my seat to whatever song had just come on Lorenzo's sound system.
I could tell he was a little uptight about his car, but the fact he went along with my crazy idea made my heart soar and my mouth smile without even realising.
We pulled into my favourite drive-thru not far from the bowling alley. I directed Lorenzo to one my grandfather and I went to plenty of times without telling Papa. After he passed away, I went alone.
We pulled up to the window, and I placed our order. Two of everything on the menu and milkshakes, much to Lorenzo’s surprise.
“The guys will be happy you got them some food, too.” He smiled as he settled back into his seat.
“Oh, shit! Drive back around!” I said as his finger darted up to his ear in an attempt to block out my shriek.
“Are you trying to damage my ear drums?” he complained. “And what do you mean, drive back around?” He sighed.
“I didn’t get food for the guys. Don’t drive around. Just wait here.” I was about to jump out of the car when his hand wrapped around mine.
“Don’t even think about it. We’ll drive back around if getting food for them means that much to you.” And just as he promised, he went through to order food a second time.
Food secured, we drove out onto the open road.
“Can you put the roof up now?” I asked.
“Wait a minute, why? You wanted it down before. What’s with the sudden change?” he questioned, furrowing his brows.
“If you want the truth, I don’t want the food to get wet.” I laughed as his expression changed from confused to what the hell is wrong with you in a split second.
“So, it’s okay for my car to get messed up but not the food, am I right?” He was taken aback, but did what I asked without another word.
“Ding, ding, ding, we have a winner.” I kissed his cheek hastily which caused his lips to split into a smile. It was written all over his face that those kinds of small gestures were new to him, and honestly, they were to me, too.
I was changing day by day, and so was he.
