20. Reiana #3
“I’m here, Ree” he continued, bringing his hand to my face. “And I’ain going nowhere.”
“I know.” I nodded.
His forehead rested against mine, and we stayed that way for a few seconds before he kissed me. There wasn’t any urgency behind the kiss this time. He simply kissed me, slow and deep, while one hand remained against my face and the other settled at my waist.
I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him back, letting myself feel everything that I was trying to suppress. When Lennox finally pulled away, his lips stayed close to mine.
“I missed you, Ree” he finally admitted.
“I missed you too, even when I was mad at you, or when I had myself convinced I hated you,” I countered.
His response was to kiss me again, and this time his hands slipped beneath my shirt.
The kiss deepened, and this time everything in this moment was all that mattered.
He took his time undressing me, and I did the same with him.
When the backs of my legs touched the bed, Lennox lowered me onto it and followed, settling between my thighs while his mouth moved over mine.
My fingers traced the tattoos along his shoulders and back as his lips moved from mine to my neck, then lower, taking his time with every inch of me.
Lennox made a trail of kisses as he made his way to my soaked center. The anticipation was driving me crazy, so I grabbed the back of his head and lead him the place I needed him to be.
“Mmm,” I moaned as he wasted no time attacking my pearl with his tongue.
The way Lennox was eating my pussy should’ve been a crime. There was no way I should feel delirious from his mouth alone.
“Shit… I’m about to cum,” I huffed as I grabbed ahold of his locs. I was so caught up in the feeling that I was experiencing that I didn’t even notice he moved until I felt him entering me, causing my breath to get caught in my throat.
“Damn, I missed you, baby,” he said as he entered me.
I couldn’t respond right away because I was filled with too much dick to even think straight. Unlike the first time, he was taking his time with me like he was getting reacquainted with my body, and I had not one objection to it.
“Lennox,” I whimpered as I felt my body shutter.
“Wassup, baby? Talk to me,” he urged, not missing a beat.
I wouldn’t know what a word was right now if somebody hit me with a dictionary. I was in another realm right now and I didn’t want to come back.
“Fuck, Ree,” Lennox groaned and that ignited another orgasm to spark and course through my body. I never felt anything like this, and I didn’t want it to ever end. The way Lennox was handling my body with so much care, you’d think he thought I would break.
By the time I’d cum for what felt like the hundredth time, Lennox was finally following suit.
“Sss… fuck,” he grunted as his body stilled and he filled me with what felt like every seed in his body.
When he finally caught his breath, he looked at me and kissed me passionately before easing out of me and lying me on his chest.
“Ree,” he called my name after a while.
“Hmm?” I answered damn near asleep.
“I want you back… I want us back,” he admitted, making me open my eyes and look up at him. I started to respond but he stopped me.
“I’m not asking you to forget shit or act like the last eight years didn’t happen,” he said before I could stop him.
“I’m saying I’on want us acting like this is only about Rhyse or us fucking when we both know it ain’t.
” I watched him quietly as he continued.
“Rhyse ties us together for life whether me and you work or not, but what I’m talking about has nothing to do with him.
I want you because I want you. I’ve always wanted you. ”
“I just got out of a relationship and I’on wanna rush back into one so fast,” I finally spoke.
“We’on have to rush as long as you’re willing to give us a fair chance,” he countered.
“And what does giving us a fair chance mean?” I asked for my own sanity.
“It means I’m not dealing with nobody else… you’re not dealing with nobody else unless you want that nigga dead. I keep building a relationship with my son, while we move at whatever pace works for us,” he voiced.
I stared at him another few seconds before laying my head back against his chest. I wasn’t ready to throw a label on us and act like one conversation and one intimate night had repaired everything that happened between us.
Too much had changed, and there were still things we would have to figure out along the way, but I was ready to stop pretending I didn’t want him.
“Okay,” I finally said.
“Okay what?” He repeated.
“Okay, we can see where things go,” I simpered.
“That’s all I ask baby,” he responded as he made his way back on top of me and kissing me deeply and entering me at the same time.
Trying again didn’t feel like going backward anymore. We weren’t trying to recreate what we had before everything fell apart. That version of us was gone. Maybe that wasn’t a bad thing.
Maybe this time we could build something better.
