Chapter thirty-four
Cameron leaned against the railing and stared at the reddit account. The entire thing was blowing up. A user by the name of PetalPusher just posted a picture of Gavin kissing Ebony as he held up the camera for a selfie.
Under it the caption read.
Proof that she was always mine.
Cameron shook his head and sighed. The fucking bastard knew about the account the entire time. Because of course he did.
Scrolling down, he read the comments of people losing their minds. Gifs of exploding heads and screaming cats littered the post. There were even selfies of other users. Cameron wasn’t at all surprised to see Ethan and Luis on there. The whole town really had been involved on this thread.
A text notification flashed at the top of his phone and Cameron straightened from the railing. It was from the unknown number, the one he had gotten four years ago and again on the yacht.
Unknown: Hey. I get it, you loved her. There isn’t a guy in Stardust who hasn’t. But she was always his. We both knew that. Hopefully, still your friend, Taylor.
Cameron let out a brittle laugh and stared out at the snow-covered slopes. Next semester he would be going to Berkeley. he was more than done with Stardust Cove and their weird as fuck citizens.
