1. Juelz

Gunfire was coming from everywhere. I was blasting off on these niggas left and right, both of my Desert Eagles were putting in that work. Killing these niggas was my only goal. As I glanced in my brother’s direction, I saw his body jerk, and he went down hitting his head on the concrete floor.

“ZEEEELLLLLL!” I yelled out. Snatching my eyes away from my brother, I focused on killing this bitch nigga Mike. I let my gun do the talking.

Rattta taattt taaatttt!

I hit that nigga with multiple shots. Gunfire was still blazing off, and I had to get my brother out of here. As soon as I tried to get near Zel, the warehouse doors came flying open.

Meek and our crew came in blasting that fiya on these niggas, dropping them, left and right. The nigga that was supposed to be our pops tried to make a run for it, and I let my bullets fly! Seeing his motionless body hit the ground, I made it to my brother.

“Zelll!!” I yelled, checking to see where he got hit.

He was hit in his arm, and his head was bleeding, but I assumed it was from the way he hit the concrete. He wasn’t conscious either.

“Get him out of here!” Meek yelled out as my crew lifted Zelan rushing out to the awaiting cars.

Meek and some of the security team grabbed the duffle bags running out behind us. I got in the back with my brother as we jumped on the highway doing eighty.

"Juelz, where do you want to take him, bro?” Meek yelled out as Jeff drove the truck like his life depended on it.

“Take him to the nearest hospital!” I screamed, holding my brother and sending up a prayer. He wasn't hit in a life-threatening place, but he was still unconscious, and that shit had me worried.

When we pulled up in front of the emergency room doors, Meek jumped out, running in for help. Nurses ran out shortly after with a gurney, and they began working on Zel. Once they got him situated on the gurney, they took off, and I was right behind them.

“Sir, you can’t come back here. As soon as we know something, the doctor will be out to talk to you!” The nurse quickly told me.

“If something happens to my brother, you can bet on your life that something will happen to everyone who touched him!” I yelled out in anger.

“Sir, we will take care of him. Please have a seat and let us help him,” she said running off to catch up with the other nurses and doctors.

"Man, I knew I should have gone in with y'all, urrrrgggggghhhh!!” Meek roared out tears rolling down his face.

“We gon’ be okay, Zel is going to be alright,” I spoke as Jeff came walking in.

“Jeff, I need you to get my mother and Ari here now!” I yelled out.

“Sir, I made that call already, they are on the way,” he assured me as he patted my back.

About twenty minutes later, my mother came rushing in with Ari and Ma Lai behind her.

“Juelz!” she called out, rushing over to me. I grabbed her, bringing her in for a hug.

“What happened, son? What happened to my baby?” She screamed out crying, and my heart broke even more.

“Mom, please calm down. This all happened with the nigga that you said was our father, and before he tried to kill us, he told me and Zelan that he was not our fucking father. I'm not gon’ get into this now, but when things calm down, you gonna have to explain this. He is the reason we are all here right now!”

“Juelz, it’s your turn to calm down, and watch how you talk to me!” my mom yelled.

“I’m not calming down! This fuck nigga kidnapped my damn daughter, and my brother is laid up in this fucking hospital!” I yelled back. Meek and Ma Lai were consoling Ari because she was a complete mess over this.

“Juelz, baby, do you need to get some fresh air? Come walk with Ma outside,” Ma Lai spoke, grabbing my hand. I went with her because I knew better than to argue with Ma Lai. We sat on the bench outside in front of the hospital.

“Listen, Zel is going to be alright we gon’ stay prayed up, you know prayer changes things son. When he wakes up, we're gonna ride down on these niggas guns blazing!” Lai spoke, and I looked at her and burst out laughing.

“How you gonna talk about prayer changes things, and then in the same breath we gon’ ride out, ma?”

“Boy don’t question me; I’m a praying goon!” she spoke with a straight face.

Ari walked out on her cell phone, and I heard her say Ciera’s name, then a sharp pain went straight through my heart.

“Boy, we gone talk about what you did to my granddaughter another day, just know you gon’ give me a fair one ‘bout mine!” I nodded because I know the shit with Ci is all fucked up.

I hope she’s ok, and that one day she’ll forgive me, and let me explain.

Meek came out and said the doctor was waiting to talk to us, we all rushed inside to hear what he had to say.

“Juelz, come on baby,” my mom said as I walked inside.

“As I was saying to Ms. Kassom. Mr. Kassom is going to make a full recovery. When he hit his head that caused him to black out, he started coming around when we were working on him. He was shot in his shoulder, and that will take some time to heal, however, he’s awake now.

We will need to keep him for a couple of days for observation but if he remains stable, we will release him.

“Can we see him? Ari asked.

“Yes ma’am, just understand that he needs his rest,” he said as he led us to the room Zelan was in. When we walked into the room, Zel turned and looked at us, as Ari ran up to him crying.

“Baby, I’m so glad you are ok!” She cried kissing all over him.

“I’m straight. Ju, did those pussy niggas die?”

“Yeah, Bro. We got them! Meek didn’t listen to us and came in guns blazing with our crew,” I told him.

“That’s my nigga!” Ma Lai yelled out, and we all laughed at her ass.

“Son, I’m so glad you’re alright,” our mom said, wiping the tears from her eyes.

“I’m straight, Ma. They can’t hold a real one down. I just wanna get out of this damn hospital.” Zelan hated hospitals and being sick. But he would definitely have to stay put for a few days.

“You need to stay here at least for a few days bro. Look, we’re gonna get out of here and let you get some rest. I need to get back to Kenya, and Kari,” I said to him.

“How is my baby?” Zelan asked.

“She good bro, just shaken up, but she good,” I responded, and we all sat around talking and making sure Zelan was going to be alright.

“Baby, only one person can stay with you, and Ari is going to stay. We are going to head back to the house, and let you get some rest,” my mom said to Zelan.

“Okay mom, I’m straight. Y’all go ahead and get home,” Zelan told her.

“Zelan, I’m going to go get cleaned up and change clothes. I will have someone bring me back up here right after I’m done,” Ari spoke.

“Go ahead baby, and hurry back,” Zelan said to Ari, then everyone said their goodbyes and left.

“Ju, are we sure everything is good with that shit? I don’t want nothing like that to ever happen again. What if that shit would have gone bad? Man, I don’t know what I would have done if something happened to Kari, or Ari for that matter,” Zelan spoke, and Meek walked back into the room.

“I know, bro. But we good and they’re dead. Ain’t no coming back,” I said to him.

I meant that shit, and if anybody else was waiting to make a move on us. We’d be ready. I beefed up security on everyone in my family.

“Let’s hope that’s all of the bullshit we gotta deal with. I’m glad we were able to dead those niggas. Who would’ve thought that Ziek's punk ass wanted y’all dead, and he isn’t y’all pops? That shit is beyond crazy, but he paid for that bullshit,” Meek spoke.

“Thanks for coming in and helping us out, that shit could have gon differently,” Zel said to Meek.

“We good, I always got y’all back. I'ma get out of here and go get some damn pussy and sleep. I’ll be back in the morning to check you out.” Meek dapped us up and walked out.

Jeff came in the room shortly after to set up cameras in Z's room for me. Shit at this point, I don’t trust a muthafuckin’ soul around my family.

“Bro, we need to talk in private,” Zel said, and I pulled up a chair next to his bed.

"What's up, man?” I asked looking at him.

“Man, what I’m about to say, I need you to remain calm and think about your next move. Before all this bullshit happened with the kidnapping, if you remember, I was at your house on the phone with you, you said that X was on his way over,” Zel spoke hesitantly.

“Yeah, what’s up?” I asked.

“When I hung up with you to go see if he had made it to the house, I heard talking coming from down the hall. Once I got to the door of the family room, I heard what sounded like arguing. So, I decided to listen before going into the room, and it was X and Kenya. Bro, this whole thing was a setup. They have been living together in Belize. When we ran into them in Belize, he didn’t just find her on the street.

That nigga was with her, living in Belize together all this time.

They were arguing because Xavier, was fucking mad that she had married you.

He said that was not in the plan or some shit, and that he loved her.

He also said they had to come up with another plan.

I don’t know what the fuck their plans are, but we need some of our own,” Zel stated.

“Zelan, do you know what you’re fucking saying? That’s my muthafucking man, a hundred grand! We have been best friends since the boxes my nigga!” I yelled, my jaws were tight, and I felt as if my fucking head was going to explode.

This shit can’t be fucking real; Kenya was the love of my life!

I would have given this girl the fucking world, I married her based off all the love we shared before she was supposedly kidnapped.

Even though I had feelings for Ciera, I still did what I had to do for the sake of my family.

Now my brother was sitting here telling me some shit that would get them both a one-way ticket to fucking hell!
