19. Juelz
I was at the penthouse, relaxing, trying to get my mind right.
There was so much going on in my life to the point where I had nothing but murder on the agenda.
Lai and Zelan ran down on my ass, and that shit was crazy.
Lai didn’t know what I had already done for Ciera, so I just let her talk.
The money was delivered just how she requested it, now I wonder how they were going to get that cash into the bank.
They had Zelan, so I guess they would be alright.
I’m sitting here trying to figure out how I didn’t catch on to Kenya and Xavier’s bitch ass.
I had been sitting here for the last two hours watching videos of them fucking and listening to these snake bitches talk about taking me and my brother out.
I wanted so bad to burst in my house and kill these pussy muthafuckas, but I had something planned for them that was going to give me so much more satisfaction.
All the years of deceit, because they wanted my money.
I bet if she knew what being my woman and having my baby was really like her attitude would have changed years ago.
Kenya will suffer and suffer very badly, I must say; she deserves everything coming her way. I picked up my phone to call Jeff.
“Hey boss, what’s up?” he answered.
“Did you get the information I need on this Kendrick nigga?” I asked
“Yes, Sir, we are working on that right now. I have most of the info, we are waiting on one more piece of information to come back,” Jeff said.
"Do me a favor, cross-check any involvement with my wife Kenya, and this Kendrick dude, something I just overheard has me thinking. I want to make sure we don’t leave anything out.
Oh, Jeff. One more thing, I need everything that you can find on Juan Mazio.
If that nigga is hiding under a rock, I need to know which rock,” I told him.
“Got it, I will have that information to you in a few hours,” he said, ending the call. Dialing another number, I waited for them to answer.
“What up my guy, you made it back to the city yet?” Xavier answered.
“What’s up man, I’m in the air now, I should be there in a couple of hours. I have some shit to do at my office, are you still in town?” I asked him, knowing the answer to that question.
“Yes, I’m still here, staying at the Waldorf,” he responded.
“Cool, Zel and I will swing by and pick you up for some drinks when I’m done at the office,” I responded.
“Bet, see you soon,” he said, and I ended the call.
My trigger finger was itching. I didn’t want to step back into this street shit, but when someone threatened my life and the lives of my family, I did whatever I had to do to protect mine. I shot Zelan a text putting him up on game. He said he would be ready.
I was sure Ciera had reviewed all her paperwork and received her cars.
I wish I could have seen the look on that beautiful face of hers.
I would never try to control Ci, but she needed to know how I felt about my children.
Maybe I was a little too hard on her, but I needed her to feel me on this one.
There is nothing that I wouldn’t do for my family, and I know Kari is going to be super excited when she finds out.
Speaking of Ms. Kari, I haven’t heard anything from her today, picking my phone back up, I dialed her number.
“Hey daddy, what you doing? Are you with that lady?” She asked. Kari is so sweet, but when she doesn’t like something, it’s hard to sway her back to the other side.
“Kari, that lady is your mother,” I told her.
“I know daddy, she’s just mean. Can she go live somewhere else?” Kari asked.
“Kari, why did you say she’s mean?”
“She just yells at me and calls me names when you are not there,” she said, and I wanted to jump up and kill Kenya’s trifling ass.
“I got to go daddy, I’m going to watch a movie with grandma.
I love you,” she said and hung up. Since Kenya was fucking with Kari, I would have to end her miserable life much sooner than I’d expected, and I put that on my own life.
I was headed out so that I could meet up with Zel, it was time to make shit shake.
Later That Night
It had been a few hours, Zel and I were sitting in the car waiting on Xavier to come out.
“Yo, you wild as shit for buying Ciera two damn cars. Now I might have to step my game up because you want to be all in your feelings and shit. We know you got money, son, trying to make niggas like me look bad,” Zel spoke while looking at me all damn crazy.
“Shut yo ass up, I did all that for her because I love her, and I wanted her to have those things. So, you only know about the cars huh?” I said with a smirk on my face, as X came walking out of the hotel.
“What’s up, fellas? How was your flight home?” Xavier asked Zel and me.
“It was good, what’s been going on with ya?” Zel asked him as we rode through the city streets jumping on the FDR to Queens.
“Work, that’s about it. Where we headed? I thought we were having drinks?” X asked, looking at me from the back seat.
“Yeah, bro, we are, I just have to make a stop by the trap and pick up Meek,” I responded.
“Oh okay, it will be nice hanging out with you guys before I head back to Belize,” he said as he sat back enjoying his last muthafuckin ride. Xavier will never see Belize again.
