38. Zelan
When we made it to the house, we heard the conversation between that nothing ass bitch, and the ladies.
I was ready to light her ass up, but Juelz had a point about his kids being in the room.
So, we couldn’t just go in shooting. Jeff eased the door open from the nanny’s room; Kari saw him and stepped to him.
Once she was close enough, he pulled her in.
Kari was taken to our mom; Juelz didn’t want her in the house.
“I’m about to step in the room, I need to be inside so that I can have a full visual of her and my children,” Juelz said, and I was with that shit, but he wasn’t going alone.
“I’m with it, I’m going in with you,” I told him, and he nodded.
We walked out of the room and down the hall to the nursery.
Juelz and I both stepped in the room guns drawn.
Angela turned her gun on us, and I was instantly ready to slide this bitch.
What a hateful ass woman, what mother does this shit?
“Welcome to the party. I see you think you came to save your women, but that won’t work. I may be outnumbered, but one of them is going to die,” she yelled.
“Why don’t you put the gun down, and nobody has to die,” Juelz said to her.
“Fuck you, I don’t care what you say. I’m going to take that little girl and we are leaving….” Angela said, and her words trailed off because she now knew that Kari wasn’t in the room.
“Bitch, you stupid! You came in here thinking you were going to walk out alive, and with my niece!” I screamed.
The babies started crying and Ciera went to make a move and Angela let off a shot.
Another shot was fired, and Ari shot her mother in the chest. Angela hit the ground.
I moved towards Angela, and she wasn’t breathing, the bitch was dead.
Juelz told Jeff to call this one in, we knew the police would be here shortly.
“My god, I tried to save her, but she wouldn’t listen to me!” Ma Lai cried out. Ciera was crying, and my wife was just standing there in a daze.
“Babe give me the gun. Are you alright?” I asked, as I walked up to her.
Ari shook her head and then fell into my arms. This whole scene is just so fucked up.
The ladies were a mess, and Ciera wasted no time getting the babies out of the room.
I grabbed Ma into my arms and held her along with my wife, we were going to get through this together.
“I love you both, I know you did everything you could do ma. Never forget that sometimes a person can just lose themselves and Angela was truly lost.”
“Ma, come on, the police is on the way and we need to handle this. I love you, and everything is going to be alright. I got you with whatever you need. Ari, we are going to get through this, sis. You had to do what you had to do, none of this is your fault,” Juelz said, as he kissed Ari on the forehead and pulled Ma Lai into his arms. Ten minutes later the police showed up and took everyone’s statements and watched the video feed.
They finally got Angela out of the house and we all sat around to talk.
“I tried to get my mother the help she needed; we all did. But to just want to kill us, I just can’t get that through my mind,” Ciera said, with tears falling.
“She just lost it, babe, when you on those types of drugs, it just takes your mid somewhere else, and she just lost it.”
“She shot at you Ci, I was not taking a chance. I had to make a move. I really didn’t care where it hit her,” Ari told Ci, and I had to agree. I would have rather she hit her ass, than Ciera getting hurt.
“We did all we could do for her. I don’t want you two blaming yourselves for her not being a real mother. I’m hurting because she was my daughter, but I also was in that room and know what she did and said. I would like to give her a proper burial, and we move on with our lives,” Ma Lai stated.
“Anything you want, ma,” Juelz told her, and we all agreed with her.
My grandfather had called and said he was on his way here to be with Lai, and I think that was a good idea.
The two had begun seeing each other, and he said that was his woman and he was going to marry Lai.
Ma decided to stay with Juelz and Ciera.
Ari and I left to go home. I needed to make sure my wife was good.
Killing your mother, is some heavy shit so I know she felt some type of way about that.
“Babe, I love you, I just want to make sure you gone be straight. If you feel like you need to talk to me, or anyone else you just tell me, ok?” I told her, as we laid in the bed.
“Z, I’m going to be alright. In my mind, she didn’t give a fuck about us, and she was going to harm Ci, and I couldn’t have that.
I will never be that type of mother to our baby, I promise you will never have to worry about that,” she said looking at me with tears in her eyes.
“I know baby, I wasn’t worried one bit.”
A month had passed, we buried Angela, and only close family was there. The ladies seemed to be doing alright with it, I guess as time goes by the pain will get easier.
