The boardroom buzzed with tension, sunlight filtering through the tall windows, casting sharp angles of light across the polished table.

The air was thick with anticipation, a mix of fresh coffee and the faint hint of expensive cologne. Abhimanyu sat at the head of the table, his gaze piercing through the gathered executives like a laser beam.

"Let's get started,"he said, his voice low and commanding, silencing the murmurs that flickered through the room. The atmosphere shifted as everyone turned their attention to him, eager yet apprehensive.

Abhimanyu leaned back in his chair, exuding an aura of confidence that made even the most seasoned professionals avert their eyes. His tailored suit hugged his broad shoulders, conveying both power and authority.

He drummed his fingers lightly on the table, each tap echoing like a heartbeat in the silence.

The presenter from the other firm, a young man with a nervous fidget, shuffled his papers, glancing at Abhimanyu as if trying to gauge his reaction. "Thank you for having us today. We believe our proposal-"

"Is outdated," Abhimanyu interjected smoothly, his tone cool and dismissive.

The young man's mouth snapped shut, and the room held its breath. "You're proposing a strategy that's already been eclipsed by the market. You need to think bigger."

The competitor blinked, his bravado crumbling under the weight of Abhimanyu's unyielding gaze.

"I-"

"Your analytics don't align with current consumer trends" Abhimanyu continued, leaning forward slightly, "This is a fast-paced industry. You must innovate or fade into obscurity."

He leaned back, arms crossed, radiating an air of victory before the battle had even begun.

"Now, let's see what my team has to offer," Abhimanyu said, gesturing for Vivaan, to commence their presentation.

Vivaan stepped forward, confidence infused in his movements, clearly inspired by Abhimanyu's commanding presence.

The slides lit up the screen behind him, vibrant graphs and innovative concepts that danced to life with every click of the remote.

"Thank you,Sir" Vivaan began, his voice steady. "Today, we present a comprehensive approach that not only meets market demands but anticipates them. Our focus is on sustainability and cutting-edge technology---"

Abhimanyu's eyes gleamed with approval as Vivaan spoke. Each point was sharper than the last, each strategy designed to trap the competitors in a web of their own making. It was clear that they had done their homework.

The tension in the room shifted again as Vivaan unveiled their flagship proposal: a partnership that promised both growth and innovation. Abhimanyu watched as the rival firm's expressions turned from skepticism to concern.

"While we appreciate your enthusiasm," the rival presenter said, attempting to regain footing, "our current strategy has proven effective-"

"Effective?" Abhimanyu interrupted, his voice rising slightly, laced with amusement. "In what universe? Your profit margins have dipped by five percent over the last quarter alone. Effective is a relative term for you"

The rival presenter shifted in his seat, beads of sweat forming on his forehead.

"What you need to understand," Abhimanyu continued, "is that this isn't just about numbers. It's about vision. We need to lead, not follow."

The room was silent, the weight of his words sinking in. The executives present, all seasoned professionals, nodded in agreement, their allegiance shifting towards Abhimanyu's commanding intellect.

As the presentation progressed, Abhimanyu skillfully navigated through potential objections, countering each one with precision.

He was a chess master, anticipating moves before they were made, effortlessly guiding the conversation.

"Look at the data," he pointed out during a pivotal moment, eyes narrowing as he leaned in towards the rival team. "Our projections show a 40% increase in engagement within the first six months. Can you offer anything close to that?"

The rival presenter faltered, glancing around at his team, who were visibly uncomfortable.

With a final flourish, Vivaan concluded the presentation. "In conclusion, we believe that a partnership with Rathore Enterprises will not only elevate your brand but redefine your market presence."

Abhimanyu turned to the room, his voice steady and uncompromising. "Let's talk about the next steps. I expect a decision by the end of the week."

The rival firm exchanged panicked glances, the energy in the room shifting from competitive to desperate.

"Thank you for your time," Abhimanyu said, a smirk playing on his lips as he rose from his seat, exuding an air of triumph. "I look forward to hearing from you."

After the meeting, he strode into his office. He sank into his leather chair, the weight of the day settling around him.

Aakash, entered with a broad smile.

"Congratulations, sir! Everyone is thrilled with how the presentation turned out," Aakash said, his enthusiasm bubbling over.

Abhimanyu nodded and began flipping through reports on his desk.

"Also, everything is set for tomorrow's party. You just need to finalize a few details,"Aakash continued, shuffling nervously.

Abhimanyu glanced up, the sharpness in his gaze unwavering. "Tell Aaryan to finalize it."

Aakash hesitated, the air thickening with the weight of his next words. "Sir, Vikram Sir instructed me to finalize everything with you only. It's important for the event-"

Abhimanyu's expression hardened, his voice dropping to a low "And I'm saying Aaryan will finalize it. I trust him to handle the details."

Aakash nodded, clearly conflicted. "Okay, sir. I'll let him know."

As Aakash exited, Abhimanyu leaned back in his chair.

His phone pinged, breaking the silence. He glanced at the screen, and a slow, smirk spread across his face.

Aarushi stepped into the house, her shoes squeaking against the cool tiles. The familiar scent of spices and the warm hum of home wrapped around her like a comforting blanket.

She sat down on the sofa sighing softly after a long day of teaching.

"Home sweet home " she muttered to herself.

After few minutes, Badi Ma appeared, her face lighting up with a mix of affection and curiosity. "Aarushi, When did you come? You got late today"

Aarushi smiled and replied "Just a few minutes ago and yes just some extra work"

"Good, good, You must be hungry. There's pasta in the kitchen for you. Me and your chachi are going to the temple. "Badi Ma's eyes sparkled with the excitement of the evening ritual.

"Temple? I also want to go" Aarushi's enthusiasm bubbled over, her fatigue momentarily forgotten.

Chachi entered the room just then,

"But beta," Chachi said, her brow furrowing in concern, "you just got back. Rest for a while."

"No, really, it's okay! I'm not that tired. Just let me freshen up quickly," Aarushi insisted, already brushing past them.

"Alright, we'll wait for you,"Badi Ma agreed, watching her with a fond expression.

Aarushi dashed upstairs. She splashed water on her face, the coolness invigorating. Glancing in the mirror, she took a moment to smooth her hair and adjust her dupatta.

"Okay, let's go" she announced to herself, her reflection giving a final nod of approval.

She hurried back downstairs, practically bouncing on her toes as she joined Badi Ma and Chachi.

"Let's go" Aarushi said, her voice bright. They piled into the car, the engine purring to life as they set off toward the temple.

The streets were bustling, filled with the evening rush of people and the tantalizing aroma of street food wafting through the air. Aarushi's stomach growled, reminding her of the pasta waiting at home, but the anticipation of the temple visit dulled the pangs of hunger.

Once they arrived, the temple stood majestically against the orange-pink sky, its spires reaching toward the heavens like fingers of devotion. The familiar sounds of bells ringing and chants floating in the air welcomed them.

Inside, the atmosphere felt electric, filled with warmth and reverence. Aarushi closed her eyes for a moment, letting the peace wash over her. She stepped forward, offering her prayers with earnest devotion.

"Kahna ji," she whispered internally, "please keep Abhi always happy and healthy. If you can, please give all my happiness to him."

She thought about her husband, Abhimanyu. "I'm so grateful to you for giving me a husband like him. Please keep him safe," she continued her silent prayer.

Aarushi opened her eyes, feeling a sense of calm and hope settle within her. Badi Ma and Chachi approached her, their hands filled with prasad.

"Beta, we're going to distribute some goodies," Badi Ma said, her voice soft yet filled with purpose.

"Oh! I forgot the money is in my purse, in the car,"Chachi exclaimed, her face lighting up with realization.

"Wait, I'll bring it" Aarushi volunteered, eager to help and to escape the gathering crowd for a moment.

As she made her way back to the car, the evening air was cool against her skin. She could hear the distant laughter of children and the soft murmurs of families gathered around. But her heart quickened when she heard someone call her name.

"Aarushi"

She turned, her smile fading as she noticed Arun standing there, a slight frown creasing his brow as he approached.

"Oh, hello, Arun sir," she said, her voice steady.

"I was buying prasad and saw you here," he said, his tone casual, but

Aarushi felt the weight of his gaze.

"Yes, I'm here for the temple visit too," she replied, trying to keep her tone light.

"Let's go together, then" Arun suggested, his enthusiasm evident.

Aarushi's heart raced. "No, no, I already visited. I was just going back home. I forgot something inside, that's why I was heading back."

She didn't want him to see her in-laws, to learn the truth that she was married.

"Oh, I thought we could visit together," he said, disappointment flickering across his face.

"It's okay. You carry on. I'll go back inside," she quickly added, hoping to deflect his attention.

"Alright. I'll just grab some prasad," he replied, giving her a small wave as he turned to leave.

With a sigh of relief, Aarushi dashed back inside the temple, her heart still racing from the encounter. She found Badi Ma and Chachi near the distribution area.

"A colleague from school is here," she said, trying to keep her voice steady. "I'll go sit in the car. If he sees me with you, it might create a problem."

"Okay, okay, we'll be there in a few minutes," Badi Ma said, her voice filled with understanding.

Aarushi nodded and slipped out of the temple, her mind racing. She climbed into the car, the familiar scent of the interior calming her nerves.

Outside, Arun lingered, his gaze fixed on the car. After few minutes Arun finally turned away, his shoulders slumping slightly as he walked back toward the temple.

The movie list played on the TV . Abhimanyu's arms were a warm, comforting cage, his body a solid presence behind me.

I leaned into him, the steady rhythm of his heartbeat a soothing counterpoint to the escalating flutter in my own chest.

"This one?" I asked, scrolling through the options, my voice a little breathless. "No, too cheesy." I paused, my finger hovering over another title.

"Or this? I've seen it twice, remember?" His breath warmed the sensitive skin of my neck, sending a shiver down my spine. His hands, moved on my waist, tracing slow, deliberate circles that sent waves of heat through me.

I knew he wasn't truly invested in the movie; it was the closeness, the intimacy, that held his attention.

Finally, I found one. "Yes,This one. It's my absolute favorite."

(Aarushi's outfit)

(Abhimanyu' outfit)

As the movie began, his touch grew more insistent. His fingers, now tracing the curve of my hip, dipped lower, sending a jolt of electricity through me.

I felt his hand slide upwards, the warmth of his skin against my own. I had caught him looking at my chest many times throughout the evening, a dark, possessive intensity in his gaze that made my cheeks flush and my heart race.

Now, as his hand drifted closer, a nervous anticipation bloomed in my stomach, a delicious mix of fear and excitement.

"What?" I asked, turning my head slightly.

"What, I am watching the movie," he murmured, his voice a low rumble against my ear, sending a tremor through me.

"And your hand?" I asked, my heart pounding against my ribs.

"Just holding you," he replied, his voice laced with a playful edge, a hint of something darker beneath the surface.

I caught his hand, guiding it back to

my waist, my fingers trembling slightly. "Keep it here then , you can hold me from here" I said, my voice firmer than I felt, though my insides were melting.

He sighed, a soft huff of air against my neck, and I turned back to the screen, a nervous smile playing on my lips. The movie, however, was quickly losing its appeal, the vibrant colors and playful music fading into the background.

Ten minutes later, I felt him gently move my hair aside, his lips pressing a warm, lingering kiss against the sensitive skin of my neck.

A shiver, a wave of pure sensation, ran through me as he kissed me again, the wet warmth of his lips sending a wave of heat through my body.

"Abhi, wha-what are you doing?" I stammered, my voice barely audible.

"Seducing you," he whispered back, his voice thick with desire, his breath hot against my skin.

His hand slipped beneath my shirt, his fingers tracing delicate, tantalizing circles on my skin, sending shivers down my spine.

He kissed my neck again, a slow, sensual exploration that made my breath catch in my throat. Then, a sharp nip, a sudden sting of pleasure, and I moaned softly, a mixture of surprise and desire, as he left a hickey.

He kissed my ear, his breath hot against my skin, sending another wave of shivers through me.

His hand moved upwards, his fingers brushing against the sensitive skin of my chest. "No bra," he murmured, his voice husky, a possessive undertone in his words.

"It's uncomfortable to sleep in," I replied, my voice trembling, my cheeks burning.

He cupped my breast in his hand, his touch sending a jolt of electricity through me. He began to knead and caress, his touch slow and deliberate, each movement sending waves of pleasure through my body.

My breath hitched as he started unbuttoning my nightshirt, his fingers deft and sure, his touch sending spirals of heat through my core.

He removed my shirt, his gaze burning into me as he cupped both my breasts, his thumbs brushing against my nipples, sending a wave of intense pleasure through me. I leaned back against him, my head resting on his shoulder, lost in the swirling sensations.

Suddenly he turned me to face him, his eyes dark with desire, and gently pushed me back onto the bed.

His lips found mine, a searing kiss that stole my breath away, a raw, possessive hunger in his touch.

He moved lower, his lips trailing down my neck, and then he was sucking on my breast, his mouth hot and demanding.

A sharp nip, a sudden sting of pleasure, and I hissed, a mixture of pain and pleasure, my body arching involuntarily.

He lavished attention on my breasts, his touch both tender and possessive, leaving a trail of dark, blossoming hickeys across my cleavage and my upper body, each mark a testament to his desire.

He pulled back, his eyes locked on mine, a dark intensity in their depths. "Tell me," he murmured, his voice thick with desire, his breath hot against my lips. "What's more interesting, the movie or this?"

My breath came in ragged gasps, my body thrumming with a raw, primal energy, a different ache between my legs.

He kissed me hard, his hands gripping my wrists, holding them above my head, his touch possessive, demanding.

He pulled back, his eyes dark and possessive. He placed a little pressure on my neck with his other hand and said, "You don't know how I'm controlling myself from fucking the brain out of you."

"I want to make you a moaning mess and erase that innocent look from your face," He kissed me again, his lips devouring mine, a raw, primal hunger in his touch.

I tried to match his intensity, my hands reaching for him, but my body was trembling, my senses overwhelmed by the raw power of his desire.

"Don't control yourself, then," I

whispered, my voice barely audible, a desperate plea.

He smirked, a predatory gleam in his

eyes. "No, not tonight. Tomorrow's the party, and I don't want you to feel more tired. But after... after, we'll go to my villa, and I swear it will be the best night of your life."

He kissed me again, a soft, lingering kiss, and then he sat up, his movements fluid and graceful, a predator in his natural habitat. "It's late. We should sleep."

I sat up, my gaze falling on the dark, blossoming hickeys that marked my skin, a blush creeping up my neck. I glared at him, a playful heat in my eyes, a mixture of annoyance and desire.

He smiled sheepishly, a hint of mischief in his eyes. "You look more beautiful with those marks, jaan."

"My shirt," I mumbled, my cheeks burning. He made me lay down in the bed properly beside him and pulled the blanket over us, his arm wrapping around me, possessive.

"Sleep like this," he murmured, his head resting on my chest, his breath warm against my skin. "It's more comfortable."

"For me or you?" I teased, my fingers tracing the line of his jaw, a playful smile playing on my lips.

"For me," he murmured, his voice thick with sleep, a hint of playfulness in his tone.

I chuckled, running my fingers through his hair, a wave of tenderness washing over me. I felt a soft kiss against my breast, and then another.

"No more, Abhi," I whispered, my voice soft, my eyelids heavy. "We need to sleep."

He nodded his head like an obedient child, his breath warm against my skin, and we drifted off to sleep, tangled in the blanket, the lingering heat of his touch still burning in my skin, a promise of something more to come hanging in the air.
