Chapter 10 #2
He devoured her hungrily, like she was steak dangling in front of him.
Licking his lips, he admired her thighs in the tight, shimmery dress she rocked.
She wasn’t impressed by his lines, but he was easy on the eyes.
His deep, expresso orbs canvassed every inch of her as she sat there sizing him up as well.
A slow smile spread across her face. Eirian wasn’t sure what was happening.
Shorty had the kind of beauty that stood out amongst every bitch in the packed club.
He instantly saw why Gannon got sucked into life here.
After only a few minutes of interaction with this woman he knew she was the type to have a nigga crashing out.
“I’m fine with getting anything I want for myself, thanks.” Minx flashed him her pretty smile.
“Shit, I will play the sidelines if that’s the case. You got a nigga? ’Cause if he fuck up, I got some of that dope dick waiting to make up for his shortcomings,” Eirian concluded, eyeing her with laser vision of what he thought she looked like beyond the material of her dress.
Although handsome, he did nothing for her. Minx snickered at his boldness though. Shameless he was not.
“Trust me, you couldn’t handle it,” she voiced, giving him a coy simper.
Cocky. Handsome, and looking like money, she should have walked in the other direction when he approached her. Since she was technically single, she decided to entertain him.
“Shit, a nigga will die trying though,” Eirian insisted.
“E, what’s up?” Gannon intervened, peeping the interaction between the two from a distance.
Minx sipped her drink and her focus shifted ahead.
Gannon burned a hole in the side of her head when she tipped the glass to her lips.
She didn’t have anything to stay to him.
As if her night was looking to get better, Nadia eased up beside her and she signaled to the bartender for another.
In a tight purple dress and three-inch platform heels, she looked good.
Minx was confident that she looked better.
She and Nadia weren’t the same. She might have had more ass and overall baddie curves, but she lacked any type of moral or class about herself.
“Hmm, drowning your sorrows?” she taunted Minx, waving to the bartender.
“Searching for a new sponsor are we, Nadia?” Minx perked up, grilling the shit out of her.
“I don’t need one. I run a successful business and own my own everything. Can you say the same? Still living at home with your parents, and what exactly is it that you do?” She placed a manicured finger to her chin and pretended to give it some thought.
“I’m pretty good at fucking a bitch up. Would you like a taste?” Minx asked, spinning on her stool and facing her.
“Hmm, you ain’t nothing but a little hood bitch with some clout, Minx. Your parents aren’t fucking Rockefellers or nothing like that. You might be good in the hood, but where else can you make it? I doubt you will be attending any mayor’s balls or corporate meetings ever in your pathetic ass life.”
“And who the fuck are you, Nadia, hmm?” Minx’s brows knitted above her eyes, fists practically balling themselves up on top of the bar.
“I am the face of Westbrook Gym. We are actually turning it into a franchise real soon with some extra backing that I have received from some friends in very high places. I’m a part of the white-collar world, and thanks to me, Rose’s business will be making waves all over the east coast and then nationwide.
Now, can you say that you’ve helped him build anything?
” Nadia pointed out, and Minx’s nostrils flared.
Within seconds she was on her feet, swinging on Nadia.
A sharp right hook sent her slipping off her chair and onto the club floor.
Gannon pulled up behind Minx so fast and seized her by both arms. He held her back while Eirian knelt to help Nadia to her feet.
Baby was fine too, further turning him on to see the catfight unfold in front of him.
Both women were feisty as hell. Eirian had to keep Nadia contained because she and Minx were ready to rumble right there.
Gannon’s arms gripped Minx’s waist and she tried to wiggle free.
“Get her out of here!” Gannon barked to security as they approached to take control of Nadia.
“This shit ain’t over, bitch!” Nadia condemned her all the way to the door where they dragged her. Minx yanked out of Gannon’s hold and faced him.
“I didn’t need your help,” she snapped, looking him up and down.
“Well, I ain’t about to let you tear this shit up either. I could’ve left you down here and let them take you out too.” Gannon grimaced, getting in her face.
She’d never seen that kind of contempt in his eyes glaring back at her. Smoothing out the front of her dress, she whipped her hair over her shoulder and stuck her breasts out.
“I don’t need you stepping in for me,” Minx replied, anger flickering through her usually welcoming eyes. “From now on, just keep it moving.” She grabbed her glass and tossed back her drink like a pro as Luna walked up.
“Um, what is going on?” her bestie asked, noticing how intense things seemed to be with her and Gannon.
The mystery man behind them also piqued her interest because she’d never seen him before.
He didn’t look like he was from around here.
Fine as hell, of course he was circling Minx.
Luna knew her best friend was a baddie. When they were together, men naturally flocked and wanted to shower them with attention.
“Nothing, let’s go dance.” Minx held her glass and gave Luna hers, then sauntered away, leaving Eirian and Gannon gaping after them.
“Damn,” Eirian said, biting into his bottom lip and grabbing his semi-hard dick while watching the sway in Minx’s hips as she walked away. “I see why the lines got blurred, my nigga. Is she as good as she looks?” Eirian turned to Gannon with bright, interested eyes.
Gannon could only shake his head as he caught chills thinking about what it feels like inside of Minx.
He missed that shit already and hadn’t been away from her that long.
She definitely had some bomb ass pussy. Swiping his tongue across his lips, he spun to face the bar.
Eirian snickered and brought a strong arm to his shoulder.
“Ah, don’t sweat it. After we take her daddy out, you might still have a chance with her,” he kidded, snickering sickly. “Speaking of, do me a favor. Summon him here. I got some shit I need to talk to him about.”
Gannon sneered, an unsettled feeling filling his stomach up. He straightened up beside Eirian and canvassed his boy curiously.
“What you want to talk to him about? He don’t even know I’m the one moving in. What I look like extending a fucking olive branch and pulling you together? Shit makes me look suspect as fuck,” Gannon retorted.
“Why the fuck you care when we ’bout to handle this nigga anyway?” Eirian countered, sharp with his words. “Just do that shit. Tonight, we make shit clear around here,” he assured him before he walked off.
Gannon didn’t know what he meant by it, but the gut-wrenching pull he got left him wondering. He stared around the club and went into his pocket for his cell phone. With a heavy sigh, he dialed Max’s phone and let it ring.
“What’s up, G?” Max questioned, sounding like he was smoking on the other side of the phone.
“I need to talk to you,” Gannon blurted out.
“Funny, I need to speak to you too. When and where?” Max inhaled and waited.
“Now, at the club. Just come up to my office,” Gannon instructed.
“Give me fifteen minutes,” Max said before hanging up.
Gannon couldn’t shake the bad feeling paralyzing him. Max was smart, and he couldn’t help but wonder what he wanted to talk with him about. Gannon drew in a breath and reached behind the bar for a bottle of Don Julio. He needed something to take the edge off.
Minx and Luna danced like that cliche, as if nobody was watching when they gained the attention of everyone within ten feet.
One song ended, and THEY came over the entire club.
The lyrics to “Count Me In” crept into everyone in the atmosphere.
Minx raised her arms above her head and clapped to the beat while her hips swayed.
Beside her, Luna did the same, and most of the men couldn’t take their eyes off them.
Rose and Finn decided to pull up tonight, and as soon as the bitches saw them coming, they paid close attention and checked their reflections in their compact mirrors.
Strutting past the metal detectors, guns on their hips, they passed a blunt between them.
Rose paused in the aisle, right beside the dance floor, and there was Minx’s fine ass cutting up.
He tugged on the blunt between his lips and nodded for Finn to take notice too.
“The fuck.” His boy frowned up, watching his woman turn up with another nigga in close proximity.
Luna tucked her lips and twerked for the world to see. Finn was ready to pop a nigga if he dared touch her. It was all friendly right now, but he knew how niggas got. Rose grabbed him by the arm, holding him in place.
“Slow up, nigga.”
“Nigga, fuck that. That’s me, and she ain’t about to be out here shaking my shit for every nigga out here to see!” Finn spat, his face going into an instant angry mug.
What he didn’t know was that his other bitch, Rye, was in the building.
She was tired of hiding and waiting for him to come through like he’d been promising the last week.
Finn was an addiction for her, and up until recently, he felt the same about her.
She knew when he was fucking her good and they were in bed together that there was no other place he would rather be.
