Chapter Thirty

Seeing the outpouring of support at the clubhouse almost has me in tears again. Fortunately I don’t think I could cry anymore if I tried.

Loyal brought us back here after everything went down.

Everything over the last few days has been a whirlwind.

The kidnapping, the gunfire, Loyal being shot, the police showing up, having to give statements.

It’s been overwhelming, and I can’t help but worry even though I know Billy can’t get to us since he’s still behind bars.

Awaiting trial. Even with him locked up, Loyal and the club aren’t taking any chances.

The club is on lockdown for the time being, and we’re staying here with everyone else.

People filter in and out. Checking on us before going and doing who knows what. Finally, I get a moment alone with my girl. We’re sitting at the bar, Farrah with her head on my shoulder, her tear-stricken face almost blank now.

“Farrah,” I hear called out.

Farrah looks up then pulls away from me, a fresh set of tears coming as she runs toward the teenage boy. At least, I hope it is a teenage boy.

He opens his arms, picking her up when she crashes into him.

“Who is that?” I ask Viv.

“Abel. He’s one of Toker’s boys. Good kid. He was worried when he heard Farrah was the reason for the lockdown. Oh look, there are Jackie and Ryder.”

I watch as two more young teens make their way over, wrapping Farrah in a group hug. It warms my heart to see.

“I am going to need to get her therapy, aren’t I?” I ask.

“Maybe. Or those friends right there could hold her together. Kids are resilient like that. Trust me. I know,” Viv says, moving down the bar to offer a drink to one of the brothers.

Loyal comes over to me moments later, holding me to him as we watch Farrah with her friends.

“She’s lucky. She has people who care. She’s going to be okay,” he whispers against my ear.

“How can you be so sure?”

“I had a worse childhood than her, and I turned out all right. We need to talk to her though. Savage needs to know how to proceed. I hate to drag her away, but we need to go see him in his office.”

I nod, pushing off the stool and heading her way.

“Farrah, honey. We need to go deal with some things. I’m sure your friends will wait for you here,” I say, looking at them.

“Of course, we will wait,” the boy Viv called Abel tells her, squeezing her hand.

She nods and puts on a brave face, following us into Savage’s office.

I gesture for her to sit and stand behind her chair. Loyal opts to stand next to me.

“Hey, Farrah. How are you holding up?” Savage asks.

She shrugs. “I don’t think it’s hit me that it’s real yet.”

“Shock. It happens. We are here for you no matter what. We are your family now. You understand that?”

She nods. “Yes. Jackie offered to stay the night with me. If my mom is okay with it at least.”

She looks up at me, and I nod.

“Everyone will be staying here tonight. We will get you and Jackie a room together. I have some difficult questions to ask. I know you already talked with the police, but these are different questions. Do you understand?”

“Yes,” she says quietly.

Savage gently asks her questions, and she answers without missing a beat. He asks her to give him specifics of things her dad had said to her. Asked if she has any idea about what his end game might be and more.

Savage nods. “I think that’s all for now. Do you have any questions for us?”

She nods. “Are you going to kill him?”

“Do you want us to?” Loyal blurts out.

She looks up at him and shakes her head. “I know he did something bad, but he’s still my dad. He’s sick. He wasn’t always like this. You can ask Mom. I think he lost it with the divorce. I don’t want him to die because of it.”

She lets out a sob, making me drop to my knees and hold her.

“We aren’t going to kill him, but you understand he will be going to prison, right? He won’t be allowed out for a really long time,” Savage says once her sobs have quieted.

“I know. I don’t want him to be able to hurt us again. I’m okay with that.”

I cup her cheek. “I’ll take you to see him anytime you want. Prisons allow visitors. You can still be in his life.”

“I don’t want you to have to see him,” she says softly.

“I don’t care. I want you happy. I will go.”

“You really are the best mom ever, and I was so shitty to you. I’m so sorry, Mom.” She hangs her head.

I hug her to me. “Shh. Enough of that. That is the past. We focus on the future. Only positive vibes from here on out.”

“Eww Mom, don’t say vibes. It’s weird,” she jokes.

“Come on, is it lit?”

“No. Please make her stop, Loyal,” she groans, looking over at him.

“What? I think it’s cute that your mom thinks she’s hip,” he teases me.

“Hey,” I mutter.

“Is that all? Can I go be with my friends now?” Farrah asks.

Savage nods. “Yes. Thank you. I know that was hard.”

I stand, helping her up before she leaves the room.

“She’s strong just like her mom. She’s going to be okay, Sami. You raised her well,” Savage says.

“We had some moments where I questioned it, but I really did, didn’t I?”

“Of course, Mami. You are the best mother.”

Savage clears his throat. “I know it’s easier said than done, but you two go enjoy the night. I have the Billy thing handled. Everything will work itself out.”

“Thank you. Seriously, I know I was iffy about the club when I met Loyal, but you aren’t what they say. I’m blessed that you allowed me into your family, and I’m sorry for arguing with you when shit was going down.”

He waves away my apology. “You have nothing to apologize for. We are blessed that you love our boy here. He was going to be a mess if you didn’t.”

“Shut up,” Loyal jokes. “Let’s go. I want some alone time with my woman.”

Loyal leads me out of the office, ignoring everyone as he pulls me down the hall. Once we get in his room, he turns to me.

“I’m thinking you have a few questions for me as well?”

“I know I said I didn’t care, but I’m curious. Is what he said true? Did you stalk me before we met?” I ask.

He looks down at his feet. “He hired the PR firm to watch you. Bailey always vets the case before she takes it. I saw you through my upstairs bedroom window. It overlooks your backyard. You were beautiful. It was like there was a halo of sunlight around you. Bailey had already decided we weren’t taking the case, but I knew then I needed to be close to you.

To get to know you. So I bought the house. ”

“You bought the house before I was officially divorced. You didn’t even talk to me for months after you moved in.”

He nods. “I knew I wanted you, but I didn’t know how to make you notice me.

You had Farrah and your job. You always seemed to have a million other things on your mind.

So the day you had the flat, I saw an opening.

I didn’t think it would lead where it did, but I was willing to take anything you were willing to give. ”

I frown, thinking back to that day. “You said that day that it didn’t look like a regular flat.”

He nods. “I think Billy did it. I couldn’t tell you that, though, so I kept it to myself. I never planned to tell you I was a bit of a stalker before we met. I thought if I did, you would run screaming.”

I take a step toward him. “Am I screaming?”

I should be, but it doesn’t matter how we got here. I love Loyal, and I wouldn’t give him up for anything.

“No. Are you mad?”

I shake my head. “It does make me wonder if you love me more than I love you, though. Because you have loved me longer.”

He smirks. “I have to love you more. You are a catch. You could go out and find another man in a second. So I have to love you twice as hard to keep you.”

I giggle as he pulls me into his chest. “No, you don’t because I love you just as much as you love me. It isn’t a competition. We both are winners.”

He leans in, kissing me softly. “That we are.”

I cannot believe the biggest secret I have been keeping from Sami is out in the open and she still wants to be with me.

I swear I need to pinch myself to see if this is a dream.

There is no way this intelligent, beautiful woman is accepting the fact that I practically stalked her before we officially met.

Yet here she is in my arms, looking up at me as if I hung the moon in the sky just for her enjoyment.

Fuck, I’m lucky.

“Be my old lady.”

It falls out of my mouth without a second thought.

“I thought I already was,” she says, confusion on her face.

“Yes. Always, but I want to make it official. I’ll be honest, it’s permanent.

Even more so than your marriage ever was.

It means telling the club that you are mine for the rest of eternity.

There’s a ceremony. You get your own cut.

We could include Farrah in it if she wants.

So what do you say? Are you ready to tell the whole world that you are my woman? ”

She beams up at me. “I am. That means you get to tell all those hussies that look at you that you are my man.”

“I don’t even notice them. I only ever notice you.”

“Smooth,” she whispers before pressing her lips against mine. “Does this mean you will marry me one day too? I know I kept Billy’s last name for Farrah, but I don’t think she will mind if I change it.”

“Name the time and place, and I’m there,” I promise.

“I think we should celebrate.”

I hum against her lips. “Oh yeah?”

“Farrah is staying with Jackie and likely cuddling up to that Abel kid. Hopefully making smart choices.”

I chuckle. “I threatened him within an inch of his life before he saw Farrah earlier. They are making the best choices for tonight at least.”

“You are such an overprotective father. She is going to kill you.” She slaps my chest.

“It’ll be worth it. So continue. Were you thinking we should make some poor choices tonight?” I ask.

“Well, I was thinking maybe we get some practice in.” She steps back, pulling off the shirt she borrowed from me.

“What kind of practice?” I ask.

“The kind that makes babies?”

I freeze. “You want more babies?”

She shrugs. “I’m only thirty-two. I never did with Billy, but I think I would like raising a kid with you. Maybe a little boy with his father’s shaggy brown hair and green eyes?”

“We don’t have to. I’m happy with the life we have, if you are.

I don’t want you to feel like this is something you have to do for me.

I know you think I’m young, but I know what I want in life.

I want you. Farrah too. I will love any child we have unconditionally, but I also don’t need that to be fulfilled. ” I cup her cheek.

“No, but I might. We don’t have to make the decision now. I’m still protected, but I like the idea of you filling me up and planting your seed. Don’t you?”

I think about it and realize I do. I really fucking do.

Growling, I tear off my clothes. “You have two seconds to get naked. I am going to breed the fuck out of you on that bed.”

She giggles, struggling out of her pants before she manages to move to the bed and fall on it. “Oops. I took three. Are you going to punish me?”

I shake my head, moving my body until it covers hers. “No. I’m going to love you.”

I kiss her lips softly before I move to her cheek. She turns her head when I get to her neck, giving me more space. When I move lower, she grabs my head until I look at her.

“Are you sure you are okay? Your bruise looks pretty nasty, and you were shot.”

“Grazed. Only a scratch and the bruise will heal. Nothing, and I do mean nothing, will stop me from loving you tonight. Do you understand?”

She nods. “In that case, I know you are trying to be sweet and caring. You want to do right by me because tonight was intense, but I don’t want that. I want release. So I need you to stop playing around. I am wet and ready. I want your cock inside of me, filling me to the brim. Understood?”

I smirk up at my demanding cougar of a woman. “Yes, ma’am. Ask and you shall receive.”

I don’t slide inside of her right away, though. Instead, I manipulate her legs until they are on my shoulder. She wants a good fuck? I’m going to beat that pussy up until she screams my name for the whole clubhouse to hear.

When I finally thrust inside of her, the headboard hits the wall. It continues to thump with every stroke I take. Reaching down, I cover Sami’s neck with my hand, not squeezing, but holding her in place.

Her hand comes up, intertwining with my own as I stare down at her. I fuck her until her eyes roll back. When her body grows lax, I continue to fuck her. When her eyes flutter back open, I’m still fucking her, sending her into a second orgasm.

I am relentless, fucking her until my arms nearly give out from exertion. Only when she finally begs for me to stop, do I release the load I had been holding for over an hour. Only then do I give her what she asked for all along.

As I pull out, I use my fingers to press my cum back inside of her body. She quivers at the sensation, her eyes barely able to stay open. She is thoroughly sated and well fucked.

“I love you, Matt. So much,” she murmurs.

“I love you too, Sami. I always will. Shh. Go to sleep now. You need your rest.”

“No rest. I want to stay up with you.”

I chuckle. “Trust me, you will want to rest. I haven’t had my fill of you yet tonight.”

“Mmm. Good. Me either,” she says as she yawns.

I keep my fingers inside of her, moving to the side to let her lie on my chest. She falls asleep like that as my mind races with all the reasons this woman shouldn’t love me, but she does.

Fuck, I don’t know what I did, but karma was on my side with this one.
