28. Chapter Twenty-Eight - Heavenly Kiss #2

My mind spiraled immediately to Culver pounding inside of me, his cock shoving so deep it bruised my insides, and damn if that image didn’t make my mouth water.

So I snapped myself out of it.

Come on, Ira. Pull it together before you lose your head completely.

“How would you pay for such a show, brother?” Culver scoffed. “That would be high-quality entertainment for you, and I fear you have no means to pay for it.”

My mind stalled because Culver tossing around talk of sex like it was no big deal in front of his own brother was not on my bingo card. But what really got to me was him even entertaining the idea that we’d end up fucking at all.

“We wouldn’t even—” I gasped, breathing rapidly, “—have sex… in front of… anyone.”

“Ohoh, but you will be having sex,” Rupert chided as if he’d caught me in a game, “and plenty of it, pet.”

The stupid nickname needed to die, but I couldn’t think straight with him already mapping out something I hadn’t even wrapped my head around for myself.

“And will you give Ira the same show, dear brother?”

Culver’s eyes flickered toward Soroush, who had been underwhelmingly quiet through the entire exchange.

His expression shifted with uncertainty, though, which told me everything I needed to know about how he felt.

My face was a complete hot mess, and I couldn’t lie… the whole conversation was starting to make my vision blur a little.

Or maybe it was the fact that I couldn’t stop slurping down the drink out of embarrassment.

“Well, it also depends on if Ira would even tolerate fucking the likes of you,” Rupert sneered, and my face flushed harder as I continued chugging.

Culver’s eyes narrowed, but he didn’t say anything aloud. It was like they were having some silent conversation in their heads or something weird like that.

“Well…” I didn’t realize I had voiced my opinion until it was too late.

Culver’s eyes turned toward mine with uncertainty and maybe even dread, but before he could say anything, Rupert burst out laughing.

“See? She doesn’t even want you, brother. You are too far ahead of yourself.”

Rupert’s assumptions were getting old, and my mind was already drifting tipsy from the drinks.

I slammed the empty cup onto the table and stood up in defiance. “Okay, but that’s not true…”

I paused, trying to gather myself as I stumbled slightly.

Luckily, Culver reacted instantly and caught me by the waist. I hummed in satisfaction, leaning into him for comfort. My mind blazed with confidence, so I continued.

“Who wouldn’t wanna fuck Culver Scarbrough?” I puffed my cheeks, glaring at Rupert. “Your games are stupid, Rupert.”

I smacked my hands against Culver’s chest while he looked down at me with astonishment and partial amusement. Rupert, on the other hand, started frowning.

“Ridiculous,” he muttered. “She’s hammered, brother.”

“That is because you asked for a triple-shot.” Culver inhaled, sniffing me lightly. “We shall talk about this later. Until then, I should see her home to rest.”

“We’ve hardly had the chance—”

Culver glared at Rupert. “You have already done enough. Now, if you will excuse us.”

I yelped in surprise as Culver picked me up bridal style without any effort.

“Apologies, Ira. I just know you tend to be a bit clumsy.”

His body was electrifying, as always, but it was the way he held me close that mattered more.

My mind raced with ideas, but it was also embarrassed over how I’d acted in front of them all, basically declaring my intentions with Culver out loud.

At least I didn’t spill everything…

My eyes fluttered up toward him. “Sorry…”

He kept walking, one brow lifting slightly in question.

“I have told you before. There is never any reason for you to apologize, but do tell… what are you apologizing for?”

“‘Cause I ruined our day… we were supposed to hang out,” I murmured, taking hold of his jacket and fiddling with the button. “I just don’t like how he’s so… mean. I’m not a pet, am I?”

My eyes blinked slowly, trying to stay focused on him.

He didn’t answer right away. Instead, he settled me down onto the bumper of his sleek car. I wiggled slightly against the cold surface, the chill seeping through my jeans and grounding me.

His hand rose to caress my cheek, and I nuzzled instinctively into the touch, the feverish heat of my skin cooling against his icy fingers.

“No. I would never and have never considered you as such. Rupert can be a bit…” His eyes averted momentarily. “Tactless. I will be sure to scold him for his behavior toward you.”

“Culv,” I whispered, my heart beating rapidly. “Am I a burden to you?”

“Why would you even assume that?” He tilted his head slightly. “My little lamb, you have such a creative imagination. Your thoughts run rampant inside that beautiful head of yours, and you come up with the wildest concepts. No, you are not a burden. Now, is there anything else you need to ask?”

My eyes searched his expression. So soft. So kind.

Culver was always too kind to me. How long would that kindness last?

Blinking slowly, I shook my head. I wasn’t going to unload every insecurity I had in one night. “No, I’m ready to get home.”

As he settled me into the car, he turned the heat up for me. The warmth instantly made my eyes close in contentment.

Culver felt safe to me in a way that made absolutely no sense, especially since I knew damn well nobody in their right mind would call him that. Everyone around him kept warning me he was trouble. I’d seen him lose his temper in ways that should’ve scared me off for good.

But deep down, I truly believed he’d never turn that danger on me, even if I probably should’ve been concerned for the other people involved with him.

By the time I opened my eyes again, he was parked in my driveway.

I sluggishly removed my seatbelt and reached for the car door, but he was already there, pulling it open.

“Careful,” he murmured as he helped me step out.

Culver walked me to my door, and I turned toward him.

The reckless side of me was dying to ask him inside, maybe suggest we crash on the couch with some dumb movie just to keep the night going. But the saner part held back because I knew if he came in, I’d end up craving way more than that.

After internally battling myself for a moment, he brushed his hand through my hair, and I leaned into it, grabbing onto his shirt.

“Culv,” I sighed as he continued stroking through my hair. “I… just wanted to say that I enjoyed tonight, even if it was cut short.”

“Although it was, we have many other days to make memories.” He stared down at me, and a reckless part of me hoped he was telling the truth.

“Mnn,” I gulped.

Maybe giving him something small to hold onto felt better than walking away empty-handed.

And before I could overthink it, my body moved on its own, lifting just enough to press a quick kiss against Culver’s cheek. The warmth of my lips met his cool skin.

“Okay,” I murmured, pulling back with flushed cheeks and dazed eyes, my hands flying behind my back as I rocked side to side. “G’night, Culv. Thanks for everything.”

Culver’s eyes widened slightly, his lips parting as if he’d fallen into some contemplative state.

I mean, a kiss on the cheek wasn’t revolutionary, but it was endearing. It wasn’t something I was used to anymore, not since middle school, but for some reason, it felt enticing. Holding Culver’s hand and kissing his cheek somehow felt more monumental than any other physical touch.

He finally composed himself and smirked down at me.

“Good night, my lovely lamb. Please rest up for the night, and I will see you very soon.”

My cheeks heated even more once it fully settled in that I had kissed Culver’s cheek.

I wanted to scream in excitement.

So I quickly shut the door and rushed upstairs to my room. I stumbled on one or two steps in my half-drunk state, but the second I face-planted onto my bed, I squealed into the blankets.

I just kissed Culver Scarbrough’s cheek.

And I loved it.

Lying there with my body still buzzing, I couldn’t shake how his touch had lit me up inside.

Although my body was tired and my mind blurry from the alcohol, I was horny.

Yeah, that was right. Drinking made me crave sex, but it was also the fact that Culver touched me in all the right ways.

His strong fingers pressing into my skin like he owned every inch of me, making my pussy ache with deep, insistent need.

It had me squirming beneath the sheets even now.

His cool breath against my neck stirred wild flutters low in my belly that spread straight to my core.

Grabbing my ass, pulling me apart so roughly yet so perfectly, left me wet and throbbing.

The massive bulge of his had me rethinking all my little games.

The way it tented his pants so obviously whenever we got close, and fuck…

in my head I was already straddling him, sinking down slowly onto his huge cock until it stretched me wide and filled me up completely, my hips grinding against him as I chased the building heat.

I wondered if holding back tonight had just been pointless when all I wanted was to drag him upstairs and let him fuck the teasing right out of me, leaving us both wrecked and coming back for more.

What if Culver was a stalker? A thrilling thought that shouldn’t have made me feel all pleasure-drunk and jittery inside.

My cheeks pressed into the soft pillow before I turned my face inward, giggling at the thought of masturbating with Culver watching me.

It was impossible, considering my bedroom was on the second floor, but just imagining his piercing eyes watching me from where the curtains parted, leaving only a thin gap for the night outside to slip through, was enough to make my body thrum.

I sat up in bed with bubbling excitement, my panties already damp from my earlier arousal. As I spread the curtains wide open and pushed open the balcony door, I looked out toward the darkness.

Not a soul in sight.

But the fantasy of Culver watching was enough to let my imagination run rampant.
