Chapter 11 #2
I bow over her as I press deep inside and massage that sensitive spot which will have her seeing stars. “You can come for me.”
Her body shakes and spasms as her climax breaks around my fingers. It’s a beautiful sight. I remove my fingers while she’s still orgasming, line up my cock and slam into her.
Another raggedy moan spills around the panties in her mouth. She’s a mess, but she’s not done. “You have another for me, candy head?”
Her muffled response is accompanied by a ragdoll shake of her head.
“I think you do.” I lean over her and press a kiss to the top of her spine. “So why don’t you give it to me? I want every part of you.”
She is the constant I want in my life. The woman I see myself getting old with. Marrying. Buying a puppy with. A house. Maybe having a couple of rugrats with, after my career is everything I’ve ever dreamed of and the touring is done. It won’t be for years, but… I can see it.
She sobs as her inner walls ripple and strangle my cock. But I’m not done. “One more for me, Kelsey. One more, and I will kiss it better.”
That does it. She comes apart for me, and I black out from the rush as I climax right along with her.
Afterwards, I fall on my knees and drag her hips to the edge of the bed so I can suck and nibble on her. She pushes at me, trying to drag her oversensitive clit away from my mouth. “Riot, that tickles.”
I get one more tiny climax out of her before I stop. I rest my head on her lower belly. Yes, one day… probably a decade from now… I’m going to get this girl pregnant. “Fuck, Kelsey. The thoughts you have me thinking.”
She tugs the panties out of her mouth and wipes her lips with the back of her hand. “Like what?”
The knock on the door is a welcome interruption. It’s a conversation I’m not prepared to have yet. I want to enjoy what we have in the here and now.
Crawling up her body, I kiss her mouth. “Better find out who wants what.”
I climb off the bed and pick up my jeans. Shoving one leg after the other inside, I tug them over my hips and make my way to the door.
Kelsey manages to put on her panties before I open the door. She smoothes her dress and fluffs her hair. I need no guesses to work out who she hopes is on the other side.
Actually, it might not be a bad thing if Sonatina is on the other side. It’ll force her to realize that I walked away from her and straight into the arms of the woman I want.
“Sorry to interrupt.” Adira smiles wanly past me at Kelsey.
“We’re having a slight hitch with the sound system, which we’ll need for the rehearsal this evening.
And the tech guy we hired knocked himself out falling off a ladder.
He’s being taken to the nearest hospital to be checked out, but that’s in the next town.
This place is woefully unprepared for any real emergency. ”
“Don’t worry, I’m on it,” I tell the queen.
“Thank God. I swear, I’m going to have a breakdown if one more thing goes wrong.” He wiggles his fingers at Kelsey. “You wouldn’t know if Kia had any luck with the cake, do you?”
“I’ll find out,” Kelsey says.
“I don’t know what happened. It was working fine while Sonatina was rehearsing,” Adira says when we go outside. “Odd stuff seems to happen around here.”
“Odd like your masked friend last night?” We hadn’t had a chance to ask or rib him about it when it happened. And we’d all been busy this morning too, but curiosity gets the better of me. “Did you know who it was?”
“Probably a knife-wielding, road-raging maniac who doesn’t know how to bake a cake and is hell-bent on ruining this wedding, knowing my luck.”
“I doubt that.” I nudge him with my elbow. “Especially since we’re pretty sure there are multiple people involved in what you just described.”
“One can only hope.” He presses his hand to his chest. “It is nice to be wanted by a mystery man. As long as they aren’t a stalking, killing psychopath.”
“Perhaps it’s one of the guests.” I’d seen that old college friend of Ivy’s watching the queen with a certain amount of fascination. Or perhaps Ivy’s lawyer friend, Nathaniel.
“Maybe.” He stops outside the barn and pulls open the door.
“Are you going to try to find out?” I ask.
“And ruin a perfect moment?” He raises an eyebrow to haughty heights. “No, thank you. Not this queen. Can I leave you to it? I need to deal with the next emergency.”
“It’s going to work out. You’ll see.” I wink at him and enter the barn. Inside it’s quiet. Rehearsal is over and Sonatina and her assistant are gone. I take an easier breath and make my way to the sound system.
“You came back,” Sonatina says from behind me.
The hairs on my nape stand before I remember that Sonatina is also a target of my stalker at this point. Although, that might have changed with Kelsey and me announcing our relationship publicly. I shake off the creeps. “Something is wrong with the sound system.”
She hurries across the room. “Let me help. I’m good at this stuff. You can ask Daddy.”
I bite the tip of my tongue. Kelsey won’t like it, but the sooner I get this fixed the better. “That would be great.”
