Chapter 17 – Sienna #2

I moan into his mouth, and he swallows the needy noise with a guttural curse.

Arching into him, chasing more, he obliges, his eager hand traveling lower and skimming along the waistband of my pants.

"Luca… yes."

His name on my lips breaks the last threads of his control, and he looks at me with a hunger that takes my breath away.

"Tell me to stop." His lips trail down my jaw, my neck, finding that spot just below my ear that makes me moan, nipping and sucking until I’m a writhing mess. "Tell me you don't want this."

I can't. We both know it would be a lie.

His fingers slide lower, tracing the top of my now soaked panties. My hips jerk, seeking more contact, and he smiles against my throat as he kisses down my neck, nipping and dragging his lips against every sensitive spot I possess.

"So responsive." He murmurs, dark and pleased. "Your body hasn't forgotten me at all, has it?"

He’s like a boy handed the keys to the kingdom. Luca knows me so well, knows what I love; owns the cheat sheet to turning me on. It doesn’t seem fair, but it feels amazing.

His hand dips even lower, and I'm already embarrassingly wet, have been since I woke up wrapped in his arms. He groans when he feels it, his hips pressing harder against me, his kisses becoming more and more desperate as he slides a finger through the evidence of my need for him.

"Fuck, Sienna."

A knock at the door makes me freeze, but Luca continues, unbothered by the interruption, pressing one finger an inch inside me, even as Carmella's accented voice carries in, muffled through the wood.

"Ms. Fox? Breakfast is ready whenever you'd like to come down."

Luca smiles against my skin as he pushes further inside me, making me gasp, one hand shooting out to clutch the pillow beside me.

"Thank you, Carmella," I manage, fighting for my life to string a coherent sentence together. "I'll be down soon."

Footsteps retreat down the hallway, and I immediately cry out, bucking up into Luca as he plunges his finger all the way inside me.

With my head tilted back, staring unseeing at the ceiling, I’m hyper-aware of Luca's body on top of me, feeling as good as ever, the expensive sheets beneath my back and the sunlight streaming through the windows of his ridiculously luxurious mansion.

The way my heart is pounding so hard, I'm sure he can feel it.

He kisses behind my ear, turning me into a puddle of need as he thrusts his finger in and out, adding another to stretch me more, using his thumb to skim over my clit and throw me into complete and utter bliss.

“Yes, Luca, please.”

I’m lost, my fingers clinging to his sleeve, panting his name as he brings me closer and closer to the edge.

“Be my wife,” he demands, as he curls his fingers and nearly sky rockets me off the bed.

“Shh.” I frown, swatting at his arm impatiently, wishing he’d shut up and stop distracting me.

“Marry me. We’ll make it work, and both get what we want out of it.”

When he adds more pressure to my clit, I whimper, briefly questioning the wisdom of agreeing to marry a dangerous criminal who bribes you with orgasms, but fuck, if it isn’t tempting right now.

Clinging onto the last thread of common sense I have, I shake my head frantically while grinding against his hand, whispering incoherent pleas for him to just let me come.

Luca chuckles darkly against my ear, sending tingles down my spine, and with frightening ease, finds the bundle of nerves deep inside me while rubbing the heel of his hand against my swollen clit.

I explode, fireworks going off behind my eyelids as I come, clenching again and again around his fingers as he works me through my orgasm, squirming and shaking with each aftershock that racks my body.

“Holy fuck,” I whisper, blinking hard and staring up at the man I almost married once, and now, am considering it again, choosing to ignore his questionable morals and penchant for violence.

“There will be no fucking until you have a ring on your finger.”

If I weren’t riding such a high, I’d probably have a smart comment to make about that statement, but right now, all intelligent thought has left me.

Clearly. If I’m even considering this.

But as I lay here, sated and happy, on sheets that have a thread count higher than my paycheck, and in a house that resembles a five-star hotel while a handsome man lies between my thighs, it seems like a perfectly reasonable idea.

Not to mention, the tantalizing prospect of getting my own petty revenge on Alfonso Calvano, the man who ruined my life for doing nothing more than loving his son. I’ve thought about it, dreamt about it, and this is my chance.

Why not take it? I’ve got nothing left to lose.

Luca pulls back just enough to look at me, searching my face, a smug look of satisfaction on his. "Come to the event," he says. "See what you think before you say no."

"Fine," I relent. "But no promises. I might be a scared mess in the corner, and you’ll regret even asking me."

His smile is knowing. "Somehow, I doubt that."

He's off the bed before I can change my mind, stretching his arms above his head, shirt riding up to reveal his tanned stomach, toned abs, and the strip of dark hair disappearing into his waistband that I used to love tracing with my fingers.

At the door, he pauses and looks back at me. “Get showered and eat. I have work to do, but Carmella will take care of you. I’ll tell her to arrange some options for you to wear tonight.”

As the lock clicks shut, and I listen to his footsteps cross the hall into his bedroom, I press my hands to my face and groan.

What have I gotten myself into?
