2. Theo

THEO

Beep—Beep—Beeeeeeep!

“Damn, I get it already!” Theo mutters, his eyes shut but his ears very much open to the sound of his alarm clock as it continues to beep incessantly over on the other side of his neat, bijou bedroom.

Beep—Beep—Beeeeeeep!

“I said… I get it!”

Unable to take any more, Theo springs up out of bed and almost trips over his own legs as he groggily stumbles across to hit the off switch on his clock.

That final shot at the La Move seemed like a good idea at the time, but right now Theo is feeling more than a little regret at the fact that he even went out at all… let alone hit two new clubs before ending the night at one of his favorite haunts.

Without further ado though, Theo slips out of last night’s briefs and pads across the bedroom and straight into the small ensuite bedroom.

Theo’s apartment might be compact, but that does come in handy when he really doesn’t feel like moving. With a quick flick of a switch, the shower is blasting down hot water and it isn’t long before the room’s de-steaming system is required to kick in.

“One hot shower and one glass of milk, and I’ll be all set,” Theo reassures himself, quickly glancing at his naked body in the partially steamed-up floor to ceiling mirror.

As he steps underneath the shower, memories from his night out rush back to Theo…

Triple espresso martinis at Seeval.

A hunky Daddy at Range.

And… a drunken alleyway spanking outside La Move?

“Fuck,” Theo gasps, the memory of having his shorts pulled down to his ankles and his scandalously small briefs yanked down too suddenly crystalizing in his mind in perfect HD. “I guess I really was drunk….”

Theo can barely remember what the man looked like, or even if the spanking was actually any good.

But that’s not the point right now.

As far as Theo is concerned, the mere fact that he allowed himself to have his ass turned red in a dingy alley outside the club is enough to set him off.

Before he can even gather his breath properly, Theo is pulling on his nipples with one hand and squeezing his cock with his other as he replays his memory of the moment all over again.

And it’s not long before Theo lets go of his nipples and begins to spank his wet peach of an ass while working his spare hand all over his suddenly engorged cock.

“Ffffffffuck,” Theo moans, his legs tensing and his ass cheeks wobbling with each spank as he pumps his achingly hard cock to climax.

Theo stops spanking his ass and instead pushes his fingers deep in his mouth, far enough so that he begins to gag as he works every last drop out of his orgasm as he imagines swallowing the biggest, hardest cock until his own dick is fully drained.

“Nnnnnnngh,” Theo groans, barely able to support his own weight and instead allowing himself to slide down the shower wall until he is sitting on the ceramic shower floor, his head spinning and his body tingling all over from one of the most intense climaxes he has experienced in quite some time…

Having finally managed to haul himself out of the shower and dried off, Theo has changed into a pair of light blue jeans and a simple white t-shirt.

“Breakfast time,” he smiles as he waves to the concierge on his way out of the apartment block.

Despite having grown up in a small town pretty much in the middle of nowhere as far as he was concerned, Theo truly loved city life. His apartment was right in the middle of the financial district and with that came a vast array of cafes, restaurants, and coffee spots where he could refuel.

And with his hangover lurking at the back of his mind, Theo makes a quick decision that what is called for this morning is an extra-strong coffee and a side of sugary donuts—even if that means heading into one of the hipster places a couple of blocks away.

As he walks, Theo takes his phone out of his pocket and fires off a quick message to his group chat…

THEO: Coffee. Donuts. ASAP. I’m heading to Hole Foods & Vibes. All welcome! I’ve got some serious gossip too.

And with barely a pause, the group chat is suddenly flushed with messages. Most of his friends though are either busy with work or already doing something with their partners.

But disappointment at having to grab a donut solo aside, one message hits Theo in a way he wasn’t expecting…

CODY: If by gossip you mean your back alley butt warming…

yeah, we already know. As did nearly everyone waiting in line to get in the club.

No judgement on my part, but damn… you were pretty wasted.

And you know this city is full of assholes.

Like I say, no judgement. I just want you to know I’m hear for you.

For a moment, a flash of anger comes over Theo. Who the hell does Cody think he is coming over all preachy? It’s not like Cody’s never gotten a little wild after a few shots.

But rather than type a withering response to Cody, Theo simply reacts with a heart emoji and puts his phone away.

“I mean… I probably was a little too drunk,” Theo mutters to himself as he shakes his head and makes a quick dash across the street so that he’s on the right side for Hole Foods & Vibes. “Whatever.”

Theo decides to put Cody’s message out of his mind and focus instead on one thing and one thing only.

It’s time to put his lips around the most sugar-covered, sweetest, lightest donut known to humankind.

And before he has time to let any more intrusive thoughts enter his mind, Theo finds himself sitting at his favorite seat, right by the window. In front of him on the small Scandinavian style table is a piping hot black coffee with a plate of three donuts, each one looking absolutely delectable.

“You know, this month’s bean is Antiguan fusion,” the barista says as he hovers near his table.

“Oh, that’s great,” Theo replies dryly. “The fusion makes all the difference.”

Theo lets out a little chuckle, but the barista evidently isn’t impressed with his lack of reverence and abruptly turns and heads back to the service counter.

Left to his own devices, Theo sips on the coffee and takes big, greedy bites out of his donuts. With a clear view of the city streets, Theo feels himself move away from being hungover and into something slightly more amenable.

“Okay… let’s have a little look at my work emails,” Theo grins.

But instead of taking his phone out of his jean pocket, Theo reaches inside his small backpack and takes out a compact laptop. After passing through several layers of security, Theo sees the basic messages screen pop up.

“Right,” Theo smiles, the buzz from the coffee combining with the donut sugar is coursing through his veins at a rate of knots. “Huh. That’s weird.”

There is a sole message in his inbox. That’s not unusual in itself but the email address is hidden. Somehow, someone has gotten hold of his address and managed to send him a message without revealing their own.

“That’s really not how this works,” Theo grumbles, perplexed.

The truth of the matter is that Theo doesn’t work a normal job.

Not even close.

Theo might only be in his mid-twenties but for the last three years he has taken his military training and applied it to something altogether different. It’s funny what a dishonorable discharge can do for a boy’s ambitions…

After making a few contacts, Theo found himself in the highly lucrative world of corporate espionage.

Sometimes this would mean hacking into a company account.

Other times it would mean trailing a sleazy manager for a couple of weeks until he reveals his vices, at which point Theo would take the necessary photographs and return them to the given client.

For many, a life doing this kind of work would be unthinkable.

But for Theo, it just made sense. Even early on in his military training, he was identified as someone who might have the potential to move into darker, black ops kind of work.

His diminutive appearance and angelic face only made him less of an obvious spy.

The truth was that people could look at Theo and see whatever he presented himself as…

Shy librarian. Yup.

Sassy party boy. Oh yes.

Business-first lawyer? He could wear that mask to.

But when Theo was caught crossing a line in the military, there was no way back. Exiled and with no real qualifications, Theo fell in with the kind of people who don’t care so much about law degrees as they do about how to break the law and get away with it.

Theo made a lot of money in his line of work. It allowed him to live in a fancy apartment with astronomical rent. It meant that he didn’t need to worry about working regular hours and sucking up to managers like most of his friends did.

And it was all going to smoothly too…

“Who… the fuck… is this?” Theo asks himself as he opens up the message.

TRACKER: You come highly recommended. And trust me, I know this world better than most. I have a job for you. It will pay tenfold compared to any of your previous jobs. And, yes, I know exactly how much you have been paid. I know everything about you… Theo. I’ll be in touch.

Theo instinctively shuts the laptop screen and does his best to wipe the look of horror from his face. Whoever Tracker is, they know his real name…

That’s not good.

That’s really, really not good at all.

For a split second, Theo thinks about ditching his laptop, accessing his emergency storage unit and getting the hell out of town. Having his identity compromised is dangerous. For all he knows, it could be a disgruntled former ‘victim’ of his spying.

“Another coffee please,” Theo says, his voice wavering as he turns and waves at the coffee snob barista.

“You got it,” the barista replies, more than a hint of sarcasm in his voice. “I’ll have that Antiguan bean brewed on point, I know you love it.”

Theo is too wrapped up in his panic to even hear what the barista says though.

He has been doing this work all off his own bat since day one. Theo doesn’t have anyone he can talk to or confide in…

It’s all on him.

Usually, that’s just perfect for Theo. But right now, Theo would do anything to be able to open up to his friends.

“Get a grip, Theo,” Theo says to himself. “Rule one… never panic.”

The barista places the new coffee down on Theo’s table but he barely notices. Instead, his mind is whirring with thoughts of being paid ‘tenfold’ compared to his other jobs.

“Rule two, every danger presents an opportunity...”

Theo loves his apartment but for some time has wanted to buy his own place. A huge payday would go a long way toward securing the kind of deposit he’d need. And if this new client was to offer more jobs in the future at the same rate, then who knows… he might not need a mortgage at all.

“Rule three… let them underestimate you, let them think they’re in control while you run the whole damn operation.”

With that, Theo opens his laptop and begins to type a response to his new client.

They may know his name, but they’ve got no idea who Theo Rice is and what he is truly capable of…
