“I can’t help it. I just say whatever’s on my mind.” Gabe shrugs.
“It’s fine.” Greyson waves his hand then answers Gabe. “No, not really. I don’t care about her money, and Bunny doesn’t care about mine.” He takes Emma’s hand and kisses it.
“Do you even know how much money she has?” Noah questions next, his hand now settling on my other thigh. Their knuckles rub up against each other, but neither one moves.
“I’m actually curious about this, too. How much money you got, Em?” Clay sits up, joining in on the conversation.
She laughs. “Let’s just say, I’m not a billionaire. But I’m really, really close to being one.”
A few gasps sound around the table. Even I’m shocked. I knew she had money, but not that much.
“Wait a second! So you’re saying you could have paid for this whole trip without a problem? That we could have taken a private jet over here instead of that long ass flight? What the heck, Mackenzie!?” Silas stares at her with his jaw practically scraping his plate.
“I offered! But you men and your egos wouldn’t let me pay!
” she states. “Now you boys can all sit there feeling stupid for refusing my offer.” She goes back to eating her chicken salad with a satisfied smile on her face.
"Now for the private jet, I have no idea why none of you thought of that to begin with. "
It’s silent for a few seconds until Gabe loses it and slaps his free hand on the table, bellowing with laughter. “Ford! You found yourself a sugar mommy!” He laughs some more, holding his stomach. “Now how does it feel knowing just how loaded she really is?”
“I have money too, you know?” Greyson glares at Gabe, who can’t help himself.
Noah snickers. “Yeah. But compared to her, you’re basically broke.”
Greyson’s glare turns to Noah, then to me. “Ronnie, you can do better,” he declares.
I gape at him. “Me? What did I do? Why am I being brought into this ludicrous conversation?”
“I’m just saying. You can do better than these two dummies.” He furrows his brows. “Are we allowed to say idiot in front of the kids?” He turns to Emma.
She looks up from her plate with a frown. “I mean, it’s not a nice thing to say, but it’s not a bad word. So, I guess, yes?” She shrugs with uncertainty.
“Wow… he even has to ask for permission to talk… she really is his sugar mommy,” Gabe whispers loud enough for everyone to hear, earning him a few chuckles around the table.
“Shut up, Ellis!” Greyson shouts at him.
“Now that, you can’t say,” Emma scolds him.
“Wait. So, he can say idiot, but he can’t say shut up?” Clay frowns. “I’m confused. That makes no sense.”
“Well, I don’t want my daughter saying shut up to a stranger,” Emma informs him.
“But calling someone an idiot is okay?” Silas asks with amusement.
“Oh…” Em’s eyes widen. “You have a point.” She nods. “Okay, no more saying idiot or shut up from now on!” she states to the table.
“Shu up.”
We all gasp and turn to Dante, who’s looking at us with a pleased smile, right before repeating in his tiny toddler voice, “Shu up.”
“OH MY GOD! EMMA!!” Cecilia yells.
“Hey! I’m not the only one who said it!”
“Yeah, but you did kind of repeat it often.” I giggle.
“You, be quiet.” Em points a finger at me.
“Shu up, shu up, shu up!” Dante giggles as he repeats the words over and over.
“No, no, baby. We don’t say that. It’s a bad, bad word.” Cecilia tries to quiet her son, but that seems to only make him find it even funnier.
“Shu up!”
“Oh God! Honey! Do something!” She turns to Silas with a panicked expression. “Why does he have to be a fast learner! Next thing we know, he’s going to be obsessed with that word and hockey!”
“Ockey!” Dante exclaims with his tiny fists in the air. He looks just like his father, it’s actually really cute.
“Oh, thank the lord. We’re back on track.” Cece places a hand over her heart and sighs in relief. She then points an angry finger at every single one of us. “No more saying any word we wouldn’t want our kids repeating to someone. Understood?!”
We all nod and chuckle. God, I love these people.
“So, what’s the plan for today?” Sam asks once everyone has settled down. Jesus, he’s so quiet in his seat I forgot he was there for a moment.
Morgan shrugs. “We thought we could just enjoy the beach today. I think we’re all pretty exhausted after all that traveling. I’m honestly a little confused at what time it actually is.”
“Ugh, I hate jetlag,” Emma whines.
“I think the beach is a good idea,” Gabe says, then leans in and whispers into my ear, “We’ll finally get to see you in that sexy bikini.”
I turn my head to face him, our noses brushing up against each other. “And here I thought you would prefer seeing me without it.” I stick out my tongue and flick his lower lip.
His eyes darken, a soft growl producing from his throat. “Oh, I’d much prefer that.” He leans his head to the side, coming in to nip at my neck with his teeth. “My naughty little Vixen.”
I can’t stop the small moan from slipping past my lips as my eyes close and my head leans to the side, offering him more skin to caress with his tongue.
“Guys! Seriously? We’re eating,” Greyson whines. “None of that at the table.”
I rub my lips together, trying to hold in my giggle. “Sorry.”
Two hours later, we’re finally all on the sandy beach. Despite the heat, there’s a cool wind making it just perfect to stay out in the sun, and the water is to die for with its beautiful crystal blue color. The pictures we saw online didn’t do it justice. I could stay here forever.
We lay our towels down on the sand, then rip off our clothes and head for the water to cool off.
After a few minutes of splashing in the water, I return to my towel and lie down on my stomach, getting ready to work on my tan.
A few seconds later, a big shadow appears behind me, moments before a dripping wet body presses itself against my back as it crawls over me.
“It looks even sexier in person,” Noah whispers against my nape as he kisses me there, then down my shoulder blade.
I lift my ass slightly, rubbing it against his crotch where I get a faint feel of his growing erection in his swim shorts. “Glad to see just how much you like it.” I smile, tilting my head to the side.
“If you need help taking it off later, I’d gladly lend a hand.” His lips come back up my body until his face is inches from mine.
I lift my head, turning even more until my lips capture his. “I’ll let you know.” Then push against him. “Now go away. I’m trying to tan.”
He chuckles and kisses my cheek before removing himself from my body. I decide tanning from the front first might be a better idea, like that I’ll see the boys coming beforehand. Switching onto my back, I’m about to settle back down when I catch Aubrey slowly coming out of the water.
The one-piece she chose is actually really hot.
It practically looks like a two-piece, with the sides cut out, showcasing her waist. Only a small strip of fabric down her stomach holds the top and bottom together.
The top portion dips low, displaying her cleavage beautifully, and ties behind her neck.
And you guessed it, it’s turquoise as I had predicted.
I quickly grab my phone from my bag and snap a picture of her as she brings her hands up and slides them over her head and down her hair. I look down at the picture and whistle quietly. Not going to lie, it’s fucking sexy. It’s like she’s posing for a photoshoot.
Her body is fully stretched out, chest pushed out with her peaked nipples pressing against the fabric, eyes closed and face serene-looking, with her lips slightly parted. Oh my God, Shane is going to die seeing this!
I rush over to Emma, who’s also lying on her towel. I look around to make sure no one is in earshot, then kneel down beside her. “Hey,” I whisper. “Do you have Shane’s number?”
She pushes her sunglasses over her head and looks at me quizzically. “I do. Why?”
I get even closer to her. “Quick. Send him this, then delete it.” I send her the picture as she grabs her own phone.
“Holy shit! He’s going to love this, but Baby Brey will kill you if she ever finds out.” She giggles.
“That’s why I’m telling you to do it fast and delete the evidence.” I motion with my hand, telling her to hurry.
She quickly types out a message to Shane with just one simple word, ‘Enjoy,’ and the picture. Within seconds, the message is read, and the little bubble icon appears, indicating he’s typing back. But then it leaves… and comes back… and leaves again.
“Oh, the poor guy. He doesn’t know how to respond to this,” Emma coos.
Finally, after a full two minutes, a message comes through with a simple, ‘Thank you.’ I instantly giggle. He’s so polite. “How much you want to bet he’s jerking off right now to that picture?”
“Oh, definitely. And it won’t be a one-time thing. I bet he’ll save it in a hidden folder or something like Greyson does.” Emma smiles and shakes her head.
“Okay, delete it now. No evidence of what just happened can be found. We did nothing. Perfect angels.”
She deletes the text as well as the picture as I do the same. “There, perfect angels.” She pulls her sunglasses down and smiles mischievously.
Greyson suddenly appears and plops down beside his girlfriend. “What are you two whispering about?” He kisses Emma’s cheek, then looks from her to me.
“Oh, nothing. We were just commenting on how much Aubrey has grown over the last few years,” Emma provides. Okay, not too far from the truth.
“Ugh. Don’t remind me. Thank God, she’s still not dating. I don’t know how I’ll deal with that,” Grey grunts out.
“You do know it will happen one day, and you won’t really have a say in it. Who she chooses to be with is her decision, not yours,” I tell him.
“As her brother, I do get a say. If he’s not good for her, then I don’t want him near my sister.” He frowns at me.
Emma subtly shakes her head, telling me to drop it. They’ve probably already had this conversation, and it never goes anywhere. Poor guy when he finds out who she’s actually into.
Hell will definitely break loose.
