On one side, Mr. Vardan was feeding ice cream to his wife while secretly taking her pictures and posting them on his story with "My Bachha " written on them.
On the other side, Krish couldn't stop looking at Siya.
Siya, Ruhi, and Krish were sitting in the living room waiting for Avantika and Avyukt to return.
Ruhi was busy scrolling through her phone, but she was fully aware of everything happening around her.
Krish's eyes refused to leave Siya, while Siya sat awkwardly, staring down at her feet.
Siya had just turned nineteen and was about to pass her 12th grade exams this year. Avantika's father wanted to buy her a phone, but her mother had strictly said she would get one only after passing out.
Meanwhile, Krish was already twenty-two and would soon start working with Avyukt.
Noticing that Siya looked bored, he spoke up. "By the way, Siya, you can use my phone if you want."
It wasn't just a simple offer. He wanted Siya to know that if she had any doubts about him, she could clear them herself.
Without even looking at him, Siya replied, "No thanks."
Ruhi smiled, took Krish's phone, and placed it in Siya's hand. "Chill, Siya. Just use it."
Krish had barely smiled when Avyukt and Avantika entered the living room.
Siya immediately placed the phone aside and walked toward them.
"How was the exam?"
Krish pouted. "Bhaiya again..."
Avantika was about to answer when Avyukt spoke first. "Your sister set the exam paper on fire."
Siya grinned proudly. "I knew it! Sit down, everyone. I'll make tea."
"Why are you making it? Tell the staff to do it," Avyukt stopped her.
Avantika sat down on the couch. "It's okay. My sister makes really good tea."
Krish instantly brightened. "Oh, really?"
Avyukt sat beside Avantika and replied before anyone else could. "Even if she does, what's it to you?"
Avantika smiled and looked at him. "You too..."
Siya looked at everyone and quickly escaped toward the kitchen before anyone could say anything else.
Ruhi suddenly spoke. "By the way, Bhabhi, did you see the story?"
Avyukt immediately glared at her.
"What story?" Avantika asked while opening her phone.
Krish stood up. "You all sit. I'll go help in the kitchen."
Avyukt looked at him. "No need-"
Before he could finish, Avantika interrupted.
"You hid me from your stories?"
And just like that, Krish quietly disappeared into the kitchen.
Avyukt was finished.
Ruhi immediately covered her mouth.."I didn't do anything."
Avyukt glared at Ruhi.
Avantika glared at Avyukt.
And suddenly, Mr. Vardhan found himself trapped between two very dangerous women.
---
Avantika narrowed her eyes at Avyukt."Why You hid your stories from me?"
Avyukt looked completely unbothered. "No."
"Really?"
"Yes."
Avantika opened Instagram and showed him the screen. "Then why can't I see them?"
Avyukt glanced at the phone and calmly said, "Because I accidentally added you to the hide list."
The entire living room went silent.
Ruhi almost choked. "Accidentally? You hid only your wife?"
Avantika folded her arms. "Exactly."
Avyukt looked at Ruhi. "Do you want to keep talking?"
Ruhi immediately looked away. "No. Not at all."
Just then Siya came back with tea.
Krish quickly stood up to help her with the tray.
Before he could touch it, Avyukt spoke. "Krish."
"Hmm?"
"Sit."
"I was just helping."
"Staff exists for that."
Ruhi burst out laughing.
Siya placed the cups on the table while trying not to smile.
Krish looked personally attacked. "Why do I feel like nobody trusts me here?"
Avyukt look at him. "Because nobody does."
Everyone laughed except Krish.
Avantika looked at Avyukt and shook her head. "You are impossible."
Without even looking at her, he replied, "And yet you're still sitting next to me."
This time even Avantika couldn't stop the smile that appeared on her face.
---
The moment Avantika smiled, Avyukt looked away and picked up his tea as if nothing had happened.
Ruhi immediately noticed. "Oho..."
Everyone ignored her.
Avyukt's parents also join them.
Krish sighed dramatically. "I understand now. This house has different rules for different people."
Dad raised an eyebrow. "What happened now?"
Krish pointed at Avyukt. "If bhaiya stares at bhabhi, it's love. If I even look in Siya's direction, suddenly everyone becomes security guards."
The entire room burst into laughter.
Siya almost dropped her cup. "Will you stop saying nonsense?"
Krish grinned. "See? She talked to me."
"Krish!"
Ruhi was laughing so hard she nearly spilled her tea.
Meanwhile, Avantika finally opened Avyukt's story.
The first story was a picture of her sitting in the car eating ice cream.
My Bachha
She froze.
The second story was even worse.
It was a short video of her arguing with him during the exam discussion.
Future CEO. Current headache.
Her ears turned red.
The third one was just a candid picture of her looking out of the car window.
Home.
Avantika immediately locked her phone.
Her heart suddenly felt strange.
She looked at Avyukt.
He was casually drinking tea as if he hadn't just posted her entire existence on his social media.
"You posted all this?"
Avyukt glanced at her. "Yes."
"Without asking me?"
"Yes."
"Why?"
"Because you're my wife."
The answer came so naturally that Avantika forgot what she was about to say.
Ruhi slowly whispered to Siya, "Bhaiya is impossible."
"Very."
Krish nodded seriously. "I think bhabhi deserves compensation."
Avyukt looked at him. "I think you deserve silence."
Krish immediately shut up.
Everyone laughed again.
Just then Avyukt's phone rang.
He looked at the screen and stood up. "I'll take this call."
As soon as he walked toward the balcony, Dad smiled. "Avantika."
"Ji?"
"Do you know he left an important board meeting early today?"
She blinked. "Why?"
Mom smiled knowingly. "Because your exam ended today."
Avantika's eyes unconsciously moved toward the balcony where Avyukt was standing.
Only then did she realize something.
No matter how busy the world kept him... somehow, he always found time for her.
Avyukt, Avantika, Ruhi, Siya, and Krish sat in a circle on the carpet.
Ruhi was already excited. "Finally! Something fun."
Avantika smiled and sat beside Avyukt, while Siya quietly settled on the other side of Ruhi.
Krish's eyes unconsciously drifted toward Siya for a second before he quickly looked away.
Avyukt noticed.
Of course he noticed.
He noticed everything.
Krish picked up the bottle. "Rules are simple. No backing out."
"That's exactly what a dangerous person would say," Ruhi replied.
Everyone laughed.
"Ready?" Krish asked.
"Ready," Ruhi and Siya answered together.
Avantika nodded.
Avyukt simply crossed his arms.
Krish looked around the circle once, then spun the bottle.
All eyes followed it as it rotated across the floor.
Round and round...
Slower...
Slower...
And finally-
The bottle stopped.
Pointing directly at...
Siya.
Ruhi immediately clapped. "Oho! First victim!"
Siya looked at Krish suspiciously. "You did that on purpose."
Krish placed a hand on his chest dramatically. "Siya ji, I would never."
"Liar," Avyukt said without hesitation.
The entire group burst into laughter while Krish looked personally offended.
"Bhaiya, at least pretend to support me."
"Support you? Keep dreaming." Avyukt replied without missing a beat.
Krish rolled his eyes dramatically before looking at Siya again. "So, Siya ji... Truth or Dare?"
Siya hesitated and instinctively looked at Avantika.
Avantika raised an eyebrow, silently asking her what she was going to choose.
After a small pause, Siya finally answered, "Truth."
Ruhi immediately groaned. "Boring!"
"Safe," Siya corrected.
Krish smiled and leaned back slightly. "Fine. Truth it is."
For a few seconds, he pretended to think seriously. Everyone knew he already had a question ready.
Avyukt narrowed his eyes.
That alone was enough proof.
Finally, Krish spoke. "Tell us honestly. What kind of guy would you like to marry in the future?"
The room instantly went silent.
Ruhi's eyes widened.
Avantika tried very hard not to laugh.
Avyukt slowly turned toward Krish. "Interesting question."
Krish ignored him completely.
Siya looked like she wanted the floor to swallow her. "I-I don't know."
"Wrong answer," Ruhi said immediately. "You have to answer properly."
Siya sighed. "Fine."
She thought for a moment before speaking softly. "Someone respectful... someone who takes care of his family... and someone who supports my studies and career."
Avantika smiled proudly.
Ruhi nodded. "Good answer."
Krish's smile widened. "Anything else?"
Finally siya looked directly at him. "Yes."
"What?"
"Definitely not someone who keeps staring at people all day."
For one second, nobody spoke.
Then Ruhi burst out laughing.
Avantika nearly choked.
Even Avyukt looked impressed.
Krish placed a hand over his heart dramatically. "That was personal."
"It was supposed to be," Siya replied.
Avyukt looked at Siya and gave her an approving nod.
Krish, however, looked completely defeated.
___
The bottle spun again.
This time it stopped at Avantika.
"Truth," she said immediately.
Ruhi grinned. "Have you ever missed someone and then gotten angry at them for no reason?"
Avantika's eyes unconsciously moved toward Avyukt. "Maybe."
"That's a yes!" Ruhi shouted.
Everyone laughed while Avantika glared at her.
---
The next round started.
The bottle spun and stopped at Krish.
"Dare," he said confidently.
Avyukt smirked. "Stay five feet away from Siya for the next thirty minutes."
"What?" Krish almost cried.
"Dare is dare."
The entire group burst into laughter.
" impossible "
---
The bottle spun again.
This time it landed on Ruhi.
"Truth."
Siya immediately asked, "Who is the biggest gossip in this house?"
"Me." Ruhi answered proudly without even thinking.
"At least she's honest," Avantika laughed.
---
The bottle rolled one last time.
Round and round...
Everyone watched carefully.
Finally, it stopped.
Avyukt.
The room went silent.
Ruhi and Krish exchanged evil smiles.
Avyukt looked at both of them. "Whatever you're thinking, don't."
