Chapter 4

Evie

Another day at work, and there’s a little sucker slipping over my pussy, covering the top of my mound, searching for my clit. I feel it find the location and then I am being pleasured slowly with low-level vibrations.

I realize that I am starting to get used to this. I come in, I get bent over, bound, and masturbated to climax by a machine that measures all my outputs and uses them to do god only knows what with, and it’s all just whatever these aliens call a Tuesday.

It’s different now that I’ve had real, proper sex. These suckers used to feel like the most intense sensations I’d experienced. Now they’re sitting well below the threshold of being made love to by Arkon.

“Your readings are down,” he muses.

“Did I get ruined by sex?”

He smirks at me. “No, my little human, you did not get ruined. The machine will recalibrate. Also, I have no doubt that your sensitivity will return soon enough. Let’s get one climax out of you and then I’ll see what we need to do.”

He turns the machine up, something I didn’t know he could even do.

I feel the suckers clamp down more firmly, and the vibrations increase in intensity.

Little electric pulses are fired in sensitive spots across my lips, above my clit, around my ass, and against my nipples and before I know it I am awash in the chemicals my brain makes when it wants me to get fucked.

He puts me through my paces at this higher intensity, forcing one orgasm out of me, and then another. The suckers are working at my clit quite hard, making that sensitive bud swell under their mechanical ministrations until I beg for release.

“Good girl,” Arkon praises when I have finished quivering through three orgasms, one building on top of the other. “Take a break.”

He unstraps me, and I stand up on unsteady feet. I definitely need water, which he brings me, and a snack, which he also brings me. I have a very pleasant post-orgasmic buzz going on.

“Am I still okay at this? Even after, you know? Last night?” I look away from him when I mention last night.

I am feeling uncharacteristically shy with him, and I can’t be sure why.

We were so intimate and close. He knows me better now than anyone else in the universe.

I should be feeling more comfortable, not slightly awkward when I think about how it was to have him inside me, giving me the most intense sense of connection I’ve ever experienced.

“You’re getting even better with every passing run through the system. You should be pleased.” He pauses for a moment, tips my chin up toward him so I have to look in his eyes. “I am pleased.”

I beam broadly and sip a little water. I am going to need electrolytes if I keep coming this hard.

He sits down and starts looking at all the files that get generated when I’m jacked into their particular little matrix.

I don’t know what any of the symbols are.

For all I know they’re blonde, brunette, redhead.

I don’t know why that’s what any of them would mean, but I have a faint ancestral memory that it might be so.

There’s a tap at the door as he’s going over the data. It’s polite this time, and he doesn’t look like he wants to physically obliterate whoever is on the other side, so that’s good.

It seems to be a young alien with fiery red hair and a timorous voice that suggests something is going wrong somewhere.

“Arkon, could you please help with the hyperspatial terminal inputs? I swear they’re reversed right now, but Droll is telling me it’s supposed to be red to green. He’s colorblind, and so am I, and if we have to talk to Drak about this he’s going to write us up…”

“I’ll come and help,” Arkon says. He turns to me and points four fingers, the index ones on all of his hands. “Stay,” he says firmly.

I give him a little salute. I don’t look like I am going anywhere, I’m sure of that. I’m slaked with sweat and gleaming with post-orgasmic bliss.

I guess that’s why he leaves me unbound, and why he doesn’t secure the door behind him. This is the first time I’ve really had an opportunity to get into stuff without being noticed right away.

“Okay, time to lock in,” I murmur to myself.

I feel a bit disloyal even remembering this, because I just slept with my alien boss and it was fucking amazing and I am sure I will never have sex that good again in this life or the next.

But I can’t let myself be distracted by the orgasms that ripped through me, changing my brain chemistry perhaps permanently.

I was given a mission on behalf of humanity herself when I left the planet, and though I’ve failed it at each and every turn so far, I don’t want to keep failing it.

I have to get some alien tech. I have to do it whenever I get the chance, and I have one now.

That’s why, in spite of feeling guilty as sin, I break the one rule Arkon gave me before he left by going out into the hall and looking around.

I remind myself that this is for a good cause.

It’s for all of humanity. If I have to disappoint my alien boss to advance all of humankind, I’m going to do it.

Maybe that makes me a bad employee, but it definitely makes me a good human.

I need to start stockpiling stolen stuff.

This is a big building. I bet there is somewhere I can start stashing things.

And I need to work out how to get home with it.

Maybe I can get a crate and fill it up and then just send it home.

The people who handle freight won’t know not to send stuff to Earth…

oh, wait. They will. Well, maybe I can send it to an intermediary planet and then get it sent on again from there…

I wander around the floor, peering into various rooms, seeing what things are in what places. I can see some stuff that I could probably swipe without too much trouble because it’s relatively small, but I want to get something that I know for sure we don’t have on Earth.

Still has to be little enough to send, though.

But I guess what counts as shippable really depends on the ship?

That big transport freighter was so large I bet I could hide stuff away on it and they’d never know.

Maybe I can work out how goods are sent from here, and then move them to somewhere else, and maybe I can…

“What are you plotting?”

A dark voice interrupts my thoughts. The speaker is that very particular alien, the one called Drak.

I turn to look at him, and find that he is staring at me with that magnetically single green eye in a way that I think I can safely call peculiar, even though I’m well aware aliens don’t always emote the way humans do.

Drak is attractive in the way villains are attractive.

He’s lean and calculating and when he looks at me it feels as though he is taking an inventory of me.

“Plotting? Like, a book?” I smirk inwardly as I respond. I would never plot a book. If I was going to write a book, I would just start and let the story flail like an angry colossal squid and hope for the best. But he doesn’t know that.

“As in plan something devious,” he says. “I have a nose for those things.”

“We all have noses,” I say, playing stupid to perfection. What a big, dumb idiot he is to think that I would admit to the planning of wrongdoing to his face.

He takes a step closer to me, closing the distance in a way that makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up. His eye has a kind of malice in it that I have not seen on Earth. It is intelligent and dark, and there is something there that I don’t even know how to place.

“Don’t do anything that would get you in trouble,” he says. “You are in enough danger as it is.”

He opens a door to a room full of devices. “You can wait in here,” he says. “But don’t touch anything. I can’t promise that everything in here is safe for humans.”

I’m torn. I really should go back to Arkon’s office. He’s going to be mad at me for not doing as he said. Then again, I just got told to go and play in a room full of dangerous tech.

Arkon

I’ve solved the relay problem for the junior developers, and stopped on the way back to check out the main data room. I get readouts in my office, but they don’t contain the finer measurements and such that come from the machine’s own records.

I intended to only be gone for a few minutes, but the more I end up looking at the data, the more fascinating it becomes.

The machine is starting to make changes to itself in real time to better accommodate her capacities.

It is designed to do that, so it’s not surprising per se, but even miracles you expect are still miraculous when you observe them.

Before I know it, I am deep in the data. There’s a lot of it to go through. I am very pleased with Evie. She was a natural for what we needed. Within just a few minutes, she was entirely attuned to the machine, and it to her. I can see a few places we can recalibrate, and some of the sensors are…

“You need to watch the human better,” Drak says, interrupting me. I barely glance up from the readout. He of all people should be pleased at what we’ve achieved today. This is astonishingly good.

“I thought she did very well on her first full training. She was compliant. I’d even say eager. A lot better than we imagined. We thought that she’d have to be slowly introduced…”

“I’m not talking about when she’s hooked up to the training simulation and having orgasm after orgasm. I’m talking about when she is literally anywhere else doing anything else. She’s planning something.”

I glance over at him. “What is she planning?”

“I don’t know, but I can tell you that she is, and I can tell you that it is devious and I can also tell you that if she gets away with it, she will be one step closer to doing something worse.” Drak gives me a look. “Maybe I should be the one looking after her. There’s a cage in my office…”

“I’m keeping her under my purview,” I say. “We’re not shifting the org chart because you have a hunch she’s doing something wrong.”
