20. Matteo
Chapter 20
Matteo
I heard the approach of a car, before I ever saw one. The neighborhood that I’d grown up in was quiet. There were no children or really any teenagers in the area anymore. Just old people living in their mansions with high walls to keep the poor people out.
Peeking through the dusty curtains, I waited and watched as my woman got out of her car, staring up at the house. My heart began to thump rapidly in my chest.
She was bathed in moonlight and mist and part of me wondered if I was dreaming.
Claim her, my Corsican whispered quietly, almost purring.
Between my legs, my dick was already harder than a piece of steel, begging to slide in between this woman’s legs if she’d let us.
I stepped away from the curtains and walked towards the back entrance of the house. Slipping outside, I stood there waiting for her to find me. The second our eyes locked, her eyes widened, and she smiled.
“Agent Zacharra,” she grinned widely at me, her teeth gleaming in the moonlight.
A smell was in the air, that I hadn’t smelled before.
Rain.
It began to fall softly, pitter pattering all around and Rain became soaked immediately.
“Ahh!” She squeaked. Moving up behind me where it was dry and warm because of the lanai covering us.
“Hi, Stizzy,” I smiled down on her.
“I have no idea why I came here,” her chest was rising and falling, her eyes wide as she searched my own.
“Yes, you do,” I replied leaning down just a bit, our lips nearly brushing again each other.
Take her, my Corsican whispered. Fuck her. Claim her.
“Do I?”
“You want to know why you’ve been dreaming about me. Why I’m always in your head…”
She looked away then and I noticed she’d started shivering.
“Come on, let’s get you warm,” I told her.
Opening the backdoor, I reached behind me and took Rain’s hand in my own, just as the weather began to kick up even harder outside. It was as if the storm had appeared to keep us safe from the outside world.
Rain was hesitant at first, and I knew she was second guessing herself but the moment her hand was in my own, it felt…
It just felt right.
Slowly, we moved down to the basement where I’d been for the last two or three days reading old books. Had I lost count of how much time I’d been down here? Tomorrow though, I was being moved. Mason had secured a way for me to get out of the state until we figured out what was going on with this new menace that seemed to have targeted me.
As we descended the stairs, Rain’s grip on my hand seemed to intensify.
“I’ve got you Stizzy,” I whispered, never wanting to ever let her go.
Once we finally made it to the bottom, Rain’s eyes widened in surprise. In the last few days, I’d made it look a little bit more livable down here, but it wasn’t exactly a luxury hotel.
I had a cozy little lamp set up and there were a few books I’d pulled out that my mother had owned like Frankenstein and her collection of fairy tales that she’d read to us as kids. The copy of Frankenstein had held my attention the most because my mother had drawn all over the page, the symbol on her necklace, the double helix and the crescent moon, had been doodled here and there. Every time I spotted her handwriting my fingers would dance over the old, faded pages, and my heart would twist just a bit.
I missed her so much.
“So,” Rain hesitated before spinning out of reach, and starting to look around. “I’m here. I came…”
“Not yet, you haven’t,” the words had slipped out of my mouth before I could call them back.
My Corsican had bum rushed me.
He was in the drivers seat, admiring the meal before him, ready to feast on this woman who was a literal goddess before us.
“We want to worship you,” he growled.
Rain’s face twisted into confusion as she started to look around.
I could feel myself walking forward, drawn to her like a magnet stuck to a refrigerator’s door. My lips had eased back into a smile, as I reached out and cupped her cheek while my thumb swiped across her bottom lip.
“We want to claim you, make you cum over and over again,” I murmured.
She pushed my hand away. “Matteo, who in the fuck is WE? Look I didn’t come down here to get murdered…”
You’re scaring her, I thought to my dark passenger who couldn’t have given ten shits about what he was doing.
I am not, he reeplied back.
Yes, the fuck you are, chill out and let me handle this…
It was a suction-like feeling, when you took a vacuum cleaner hose and moved it over your hand, yeah, that was the feeling when I shoved him out of my mind’s driver seat and took control again.
“Rain?” I whispered.
“Matteo, I think I should be going,” she stepped back.
I sighed. “Please don’t go. Not yet. Not until, I can explain things to you.”
Hesitation prickled the air, rolling off the woman in front of me, in waves. I could smell that she was nervous. I hated how my nose worked now. When I was in tune with my Corsican, the senses that I had worked extraordinarily well. If someone ever found out what we were, they would put us in cages…
Split our genome open, and study us like lab rats.
I watched Rain take a deep breath, the hesitancy easing out of her shoulders before she moved to go and sit on the couch.
“Okay, spill Zacharra. Tell me why you’re in my head and how I can get you out.”
I grinned then.
Even when she was terrified, she was fearless.
It was part of why I was in love with her. When Nora had been kidnapped, I’d seen it then. The same strength.
The same fearlessness when she’d spoken up in a room full of men demanding we find her sister.
“I’m not really sure where to start?” I offered her.
Her polished brows lifted, and she smirked. “Boy Scout, you better find a place.”
“You know, that’s annoying all these little names you have for me,” I slowly sauntered over, still not able to fully appreciate that we were alone together.
That there was literally nothing but cloth separating us.
As I sat down, the couch dipped under my weight, and I watched as Rain adjusted her body so that she was facing me.
Smirking, I eased back, crossing my arms over my body.
“Where would you like me to start?” I asked.
Rain shrugged her shoulders softly. “I don’t know…I’m still wondering about this we you keep mentioning. It’s just us here… in this creepy basement, right?”
Yeah, she wants to know about me, the Corsican sneered.
Shut the fuck up, you scared her, I groaned.
“Matteo?”
Rain’s voice shattered my concentration, and I nodded focusing on her face. Her eyes were heavy with curiosity.
“Do you remember when Nora was kidnapped?” I started.
“Oh God,” she bit at her lip. “Yes. And I also remember y’all didn’t do shit about it.”
“Not exactly true,” I took a deep breath figuring that was the best point to help ease her into this.
Outside, the rain had really picked up. I could hear it pelting angrily against the house.
“The man that kidnapped Nora…he was like…he was like a government experiment gone wrong. He’d been dosed up with something that mimicked something that me and my family members have naturally.”
“What…what do you have?”
Tell her what we are, the Corsican whispered.
Jesus, shut the fuck up, I hissed.
“Okay…just gonna rip the Band-Aid off, Stizzy. I was born with an entity called a Corsican…extra strength, a dual personality…I’m faster…”
Her eyes grew wide. “Does Nora…does Nora know this?”
She’s taking this better than I thought she would, I whispered to him.
She is ours, he whispered back.
I nodded. “Yeah, she does. And she’s protected our secret.”
Rain stood up and shrieked. “That little bitch! I knew she was holding out on me about something, and I couldn’t figure out what it was. You wait till I see her ass…”
In an instant with that super speed I’d mentioned, I was standing and pulling her in close to my chest. The way her blood started to pump through her body hit me like a ton of bricks. “Listen to me, Rain. This isn’t something you can just go mentioning in a café over coffees…”
“I mean…who in the world would believe me,” she whispered staring up into my eyes. “And that still doesn’t explain… you. In my head, all the time?”
“Doesn’t it though?”
Rain sighed. “If you tell me you’re some sort of dream walker I’ll lose my shit.”
“Then I won’t tell you that…” I paused. “Rain?”
She tensed. “Oh my God, what is happening?”
“Rain?” I asked again.
“Yeah?” She paused.
“How do you know what a dream walker is…and why aren’t you more freaked out?”
Her words came out in a stammer. “I…I’ve always been into the weird stuff. Crystals and tarot…not too heavy on aliens though. But like… I’ve always felt really in tune with things like that.”
Searching her eyes, I could tell she wanted to ask more questions. I cupped her face again.
“We…” I said slowly. “…would like to kiss you, now,” I inched down gently.
Her expression softened and I could smell hints of arousal then.
“We?”
I nodded my head slowly, wondering if she was going to run. My Corsican seemed worried too, and it was starting to flood me. Corsicans from everything I knew didn’t worry.
She could reject us, he thought.
Give her a second, I pushed the thought out to him. This is new for her.
“We…both parts of me, have wanted you for so long,” I managed to bite out.
Rain’s eyes grew wide, as she drank me in. The smell of her fear was thick but there was also her musk filling the air.
Arousal.
“Kiss me where?” Her eyebrow rose as she let out a deep breath.
There was no helping it, a smirk darted onto my face, and I leaned down brushing my lips over her own, as they parted.
“Wherever you want me too, Stizzy…wherever you want me too…”
Finally, she raised up onto her tip toes, running her hands up my chest until they were behind my head.
“Every-fucking-where, Boy Scout.”
Her mouth connected with my own and she melted into me. I knew she could feel my erection digging into her stomach. I’d never gone soft. From the moment she’d stepped foot on this property, Rain had made me hard and ready.
Easing away from her mouth, breathing hard, I stared down at her. “No running…”
“Why?”
“Because he likes to chase,” I whispered.
Before I knew it, I was scooping her up in my arms. She gave a yip, clutching at me.
“What are you doing? Put me down…”
I was already on the stairs and halfway up them when she said this.
“I will…when I have you in a bed,” I groaned.
She was quiet as we moved up the stairs and into the first floor of the house. The house despite the vacancy was still fully furnished, but for the sake of keeping a low profile we’d decided I’d stick it out in the basement.
No one had expected that I’d have a woman over. A soft giggle escaped from Rain as we hit the second set of stairs that led to the bedrooms.
“What?” I asked genuinely curious.
“I knew something was off about your ass,” she giggled again relaxing into me fully.
"Are you making fun of me?” I asked as we reached my old bedroom.
“Always, Boy Scout,” she smiled.
I loved the feeling of having her in my arms and found myself feeling disappointed when I sat her on my old bed.
“How should we…how should we start?”
Rain let out another laugh. “Oh God, are you a virgin? That would be adorable.”
I groaned. “No, I’m not a fucking virgin, girl…I’m about to…”
A burst of laughter filled the room, and she pulled my head over, caressing my face. I knew then that she was teasing me.
“I like having pretty mouths and having my pussy eaten, Matteo. Start there…”
Fuck, I’m going to lose my mind, my Corsican had begun to stir again.
In fact, he’d never left the chat, he’d just been idle.
I peeled the jeans from Rain’s body, still feeling as if I were in a dream. This entire thing felt like a dream, and I wondered what it’d be like to drown. To stay underneath the waves with her forever.
Kneeling in between her legs, I lowered my head, finally ready to taste her again. With ease, I draped her legs over my shoulders.
Breathing deeply, I pulled her scent into my lungs before swiping gentle kisses over the insides of her thighs.
Rain moaned low, almost guttural as her body trembled with anticipation of what was about to happen. The second my lips wrapped around her glistening pink clit; Rain gasped so loud that it echoed throughout the room. It sent a wave of encouragement down my spine.
The more frenzied I licked, the wilder her moans became. She was arching her back, the old gray comforter bunched in her hands.
“Oh my God…Ma…Matteo, I’m coming…”
Easing off, I watched her as her fingers dipped between her legs and she began to rub at her pussy.
“That’s it Stizzy,” I murmured deeply, entranced by the vision before me. “Come for us…”
My words must have sent her over the edge because her breathing increased, and her pheromones flooded the room making my Corsican higher than a kite.
Watching Rain cum.
Making her cum.
It was better than smoking a fucking joint to him.
Still, he was only partially satisfied.
“Fuck!!!” Rain groaned.
As my body started to relax from watching Rain orgasm, and my own breathing started to slow down, something hit my ears. It wasn’t loud. It’d been subtle and it had my hackles up.
Did you hear that? I whispered to my Corsican who was still doped up.
No.
I rubbed at the bridge of my nose in annoyance. Well, I did…something isn’t right.
Easing up, I leaned over Rain. “Hey…”
“Hey,” she whispered her chest rising and falling.
“I need you to stay here…don’t make a sound until I call for you,” I whispered back before dropping a kiss on her mouth.
“Wait, what?”
“Stay put, please, Stizzy,” I was already out the door.
Your gun is in the basement, my Corsican reminded me as we slipped out the door.
Easing over the edge of the banister, I peered down. Three faces were peering back at me but the one in the middle.
It was familiar.
He was…
Me.
