Chapter 46
I ended up crossing over into South Carolina and renting a car.
By doing that, I was able to come back and forth to Savannah without being noticed.
Heavy was still at my house and my club was still running smoothly.
Since Heavy wouldn’t leave the house, I had the power, water and gas cut the fuck off.
I sent the police there and said that someone had broken into my house and I was scared to go home.
That nigga was in my shit and I didn’t run from a nigga.
My blood, sweat and tears went into making sure my house was a home and I’ll be damn if I let him live comfortably in my shit.
He can go home to his wife; I’m sure she’ll take his ass back now.
My smile spread across my face as I watched them pull Heavy from my house in handcuffs.
See, I had a feeling that he was bringing drugs and shit in my house so I tipped them off on that too.
Come to find out the nigga had a warrant for his arrest. As they drove him away from my house, I politely pulled up and walked inside.
Heavy kept the place nice and clean, but I could tell he enjoyed some company while I was away for a few weeks.
I had to let him think he won so my four-week stay in South Carolina worked out good.
He got comfortable and thought shit was sweet.
I was a lot of things but a dumb ass bitch wasn’t one of them.
All I needed was a second to gather my thoughts and come up with a plan.
I turned some music on, went to my bar and poured me up a glass before I started gathering all Heavy shit to take home to his wife. She wasn’t going be happy to see me but I needed to drop his shit off. If I had anything in this house belonged to a nigga it had to go.
Pulling up to the two-story house that Heavy and his wife shared, I made sure to put all my cattiness to the side and be a woman.
Hell, I was always the bigger woman. These bitches always came for me, even when I kept my mouth shut.
I got out and grabbed the shit from the back seat and walked it to the porch.
Once all of it was out, I rung the doorbell and waited for his wife to answer.
“I didn’t come to start any drama.” I put my hands up. “I just wanted to drop off Heavy shit so he can come back home to you when he gets out of jail.”
“Nah, bitch I don’t want him. You can keep him.
” She kicked a bag of his clothes back towards me.
“You thought that shit was going to be sweet, didn’t you?
Until he started beating your fucking ass and making you do shit that degraded you.
Yea, I know because I been going through it for years trying to stay true to my vows but fuck that nigga and you too bitch. ” She slammed the door in my face.
I laughed all the way back to my car. By the time Heavy got out of jail, my locks would be changed and he’ll be standing outside on the other side of the door throwing out threats. Turning my music up, I placed my shades back in my face and drove off.
Pulling the visor down, I checked myself out before stepping out of the car like I was the next top model. I was the shit though. Heavy broke me down to nothing a few weeks ago but I was back but not on the same shit I was on earlier. I knocked on the door and stepped back.
The eyes that met me were cold. The body language was obvious that I should not have come but I had to. I just had to see what damage I had done but from the looks of it, I hadn’t done enough.
“Why the fuck are you doing here?” Law asked.
“Who at the door?” Summer asked before she appeared on the side of Law. She was no longer pregnant and I wondered did she lose the baby. Her skin was flawless and her body was damn near snatched back to the way it was before the baby.
“Why is this bitch here?”
“I’m trying to figure the shit out myself,” Law looked me up and down.
“Look bitch, I’m not pregnant anymore and I’m in the mood to beat your ass. How dare you show your face up on my doorstep?”
My mouth opened but nothing came out. I thought I was going to show up and Law be all alone. I never expected for this bitch to work shit out with him.
“Bitch, close your mouth or talk because we got a baby to tend to,” Law told me.
I still stood there speechless. The words started to slip as he was closing the door in my face.
“Summer, I’m sorry,” I blurted out. “All I came to say was I was sorry and I wish you nothing but the best with the baby.” I turned to walk away but she called out to me.
“I knew about your spells and shit. You tried to fucking kill me to be with a man that only wanted you for your pussy and head. If Law didn’t have his arm stopping me from getting to you, I swear I’ll drag your ass.
You’re sad and I hope for the rest of your life you lose everything that means something to you.
All you ever did was take from people, and now it’s your turn bitch.
Law close the door and bring your ass on. ”
Another week had passed since I moved back to Savannah.
Heavy hadn’t got out which was good but shit was slipping away from me.
My baby, my first love, was being shut down for sex trafficking, and I had no idea.
I was picked up from my house early this morning and was trying to get a lawyer so I could get the hell out.
All this time I thought I was running a legit business.
Muthafuckas was right under my nose, stealing girls that visited my club and selling them.
My face was blasted all over the news like I was some fucking monster and the death threats I was getting from these girls’ parents was unbelievable.
Being a side bitch was one thing, but I would never sell my soul for anyone else’s.
Nobody believed me, though. Not even my brother after all I did for him.
I was booked and placed behind bars with nothing.
I wasted my phone call on my father who couldn’t help me because he didn’t want to be involved.
Now I waited in hopes that someone would believe me and get me the fuck out of here.
A total of eighty-six girls had gone missing from the club.
Thankfully, a girl was able to get away and tell her story.
Only if she knew that I wasn’t a part of the shit.
I guess that’s what Summer meant when she said I’ll lose everything that meant something to me.
I took from others, and now someone was taking from me.
