Chapter 17
Chapter Seventeen
Evie
Six Months Postpartum
“I’m so glad you’re coming with us, Harps.” I say as I link my arm through hers at the airport. “I don’t know if I would be able to survive this week without you right here.” I told Harper all about me walking in on Monty and Josie.
She thought it was hilarious. I felt the opposite. I’ve been flustered and on edge ever since.
I tried to make dates but I would bail by the time it came. I want to say it's because of my poor track record with dates and how they turn out.
Realistically? I can't get the picture of Monty and Josie out of my head.
It went from an innocent crush. A slight infatuation. Some harmless flirting while on the job you know?
Then I think of the timbre in Monty’s voice as he swore with Josie’s lips wrapped around his cock.
A shiver runs through my body as I play back what happened in my head.
“Hello. Earth to Evie.” Harper is waving her hand in front of my face.
A sheepish smile spreads across my face. “Sorry babes. I didn’t get the best sleep last night. Is there somewhere I can get an iced coffee before we board?” Avoiding eye contact I try to look for any place that may give me my hit of caffeine.
“Mhmm” Harper looks at me like she doesn’t believe a damn word I said. “You’re full of shit, but I’ll concede because I could use an iced coffee myself.” She pulls on our linked arms and directs us to the nearest coffee cart.
Twenty minutes later and a delicious iced caramel macchiato before we get to the gate. We’re sitting in the departures lounge, Shiloh is hanging off of Xavier’s shoulders as he talks with Monty. Josie sits with Harper and I, Hayes in her arms as he feeds before we take off.
This water park is unbelievable. The look on Shiloh’s face when he saw us drive up to the resort is something I’ll have imprinted on my brain.
We are staying in rental houses that are just outside the park.
It’s a little cul de sac area of rental houses for the area.
Monty arranged for three units to be rented out- one for his and Josie’s parents, one for Harper and Xavier, and the last for us.
It’s close to all attractions for both kids and adults.
There’s a beach about a ten minute drive up the road, so if we get bored of the chlorinated shit we can go swim in the lake
We all agreed that we’d take some time to unpack and refresh before tackling the water park, so I’m in my room getting settled. Shiloh, of course, has been so excited he’s running between everyone’s room and helping everyone so we can get there faster.
My door flies open and in walks Shiloh, his swim trunks on with water goggles over his eyes and his towel around his neck.
“Evie! Why are you not in your bathing suit yet!” He scolds me, hands on his hips and everything.
I laugh to myself before grabbing my bikini and sundress out of my suitcase. “Well mister, I was just grabbing it and about to change. I should be ready lickity split!” I walk up to him with my hand on his shoulder as we head out of my room and I walk toward the bathroom.
Shiloh is telling me about what he hopes is at the park. He’s talking about his hopes of a giant bucket that fills with water and then spills when the bathroom door swings open and Monty comes out.
My mouth dries up as take in the board shorts that hug his hips so nicely. The outline of his dick is very visible, and holy shit. If that’s what it looks like when it’s soft…
Good for Josie.
“Dad!” Shiloh yells at him, “do you think there will be a giant bucket that will fill, and fill and fill with water before it dumps over you?”
“Hmm,” He stands there, tapping his index finger on his chin in thought. “I guess there’s only one way to find out my dude!”
They continue their talk as I slip past Monty to get to the bathroom. Quickly stripping out of my clothes, folding them and placing them on the counter before slipping into my suit. The criss cross sage top does wonders for my tits. It also does nothing to hide my nipple piercing on my right tit.
Well, there’s nothing I can do about it now, so I put on the matching colored bottoms and slide into my tie wrap sundress.
Twenty minutes later and we’re all packed and ready to go. The drive to the park is quick, and before we know it we’ve found a spot at a picnic table to sit at while we all take turns with Shiloh checking out everything.
The water park is big and colorful. Everywhere I look there’s something different to do. They have the water slides on either side of the structure for kids to go down. On top of the structure is what Shiloh has been hoping for the most.
A giant bucket that collects water. It swings back and forth as it fills and when the water reaches the top it sloshes over.
Careening the water down a slide that lands over the main area in front of the structure.
Shiloh has done it a handful of times already, bringing in a new person each time he wants to do it.
Currently up to bat is Harper, who’s eyes are wide as saucers as she watches the bucket in anticipation. Shiloh is running circles around her, kicking water around. “Are you ready for this Aunty Harper!” grabbing her arm and jumping up and down just as the bucket tips over.
Harper’s body tenses as the water sloshes down the slide before dumping on the both of them. A screech comes from Harper as this addictive laughter spills from Shiloh. Lighting up so much affection for the child I have grown to care too much about.
A vision of a child with my blonde locks, and freckled cheeks running around this water park alongside Shiloh as they take on the water slides, splashing around the park. The melodic sounds of children’s laughter fill my body with joy and love.
A dull ache follows that vision, blanketing me in sadness for a moment. Until Shiloh’s wet curls and toothy grin are in my face and he’s telling me it’s my turn to get under the bucket.
